My primary concern is the content refresh rate, especially with Google integrations. While I understand there may be limitations, I wish alternative solutions for achieving near real-time updates had been explored or communicated more clearly. Pros I particularly liked Rise Vision's automated content updates. The ability to have content refresh automatically is a huge time-saver and my favorite feature. The competitive pricing is also a significant advantage. Cons I experienced difficulties with content refresh frequency, specifically with Google integrations. While support indicated this was a Google limitation, a competitor's platform achieved near real-time updates. I learned about Rise Vision at a past job and then implemented it at my current job when I started here. Any time I have a problem or something I can't figure out, RV staff is quick to assist. I use RV everyday and love how easy it is to use. I also taught my student intern to use it, and she has no problems at all. Cons I don't like that when our power goes out, storm etc. We have to manually reset the screens. Since some are off-site, this is a hassle. August 15, 2025 4.0 Great, no complaints so far! This product has helped our individual grades, teams and other areas around school share their content as needed. Pros Adaptability of use for our school sharing videos/photos around campus. Multiple connections allow for separate messages and content to be posted, depending on if it's in a certain hallway or lobby. The built-in options for graphics and widgets -- such as local weather and the clock -- have been nice additions to our screens. Cons Lack of a social media aggregator to automatically reshare our school's Instagram posts to the screens. This might be available now, but we need to look into it more. Cons The app, risevision players are much better but costly. We attempt to use smart TV's with the app only but many kept kicking off or back to the home screen. Cons They have a wide variety of present designs you can use for announcements, but sometimes I still have to indiviualize and create my own presentations to fit my schools needs. July 8, 2025 4.0 Overall, my experience has been great! I haven't had any issues in the almost 4 years that I have been using the product. Pros I have a screen in each breakroom that I use Rise Vision on to communicate news throughout the distribution center. I am able to quickly create a slide of what I would like to display using PowerPoint. I use graphics to catch the attention of my audience. Having the announcements displayed on a board is much more efficient than depending on word-of-mouth. Cons I would really like to have an instruction booklet for more information on how to use the program. I searched for information a couple of years ago and could only find videos. From an IT perspective, the platform has been reliable and easy to manage, and just as importantly, it’s intuitive enough that teachers and office staff can update content without needing technical help. That has made a big difference in keeping displays current and useful across our schools. Support has also been consistently excellent—responses are quick, helpful, and genuinely focused on solving the issue. Overall, Rise Vision has been a solid, user-friendly solution that works well for both IT and non-technical staff. Pros It is easy to both set up and use. It comes with many slide templates. The management portal is easy to use and extremely handy if any issues come up. Everything looks professional and not a lot of time is needed to create a polished slide. Pros It is easy to use and has many templates. The graphic design is always interesting and entertaining. Cons There are only a few educational templates to use. For the sports ones, you cannot remove the 'vs'. It is hard to create posts about sports if there isn't a game. As a designer, that likes to control everything, using the blank template is my go to template, but it is difficult to use for text. I like how user-friendly the system is, allowing for content customization on when to display items, like weekly or on certain days and times. It enables collaboration across campus by letting us see other departments' ideas, display different content types such as static designs or videos, and provides helpful template ideas. I also integrate Rise Vision with Canva for designs and Campus Labs for event publishing. Pros I like how user-friendly Rise Vision is. I really like how it allows me to customize when I'd like to display items, like weekly, on certain days, or times. I really like how it allows for collaboration across campus, so we can see other departments' ideas and get inspired for content design. I also like how it supports different types of content display, such as static designs or videos, and the provided template ideas are super helpful. Cons At times it can be confusing having to toggle from displays, to presentations, etc. I sometimes get confused by the differences, but this is just a stretch and it really isn't that hard to understand. Cons The one con of Rise Vision is the inability to "stretch" portrait sized images or videos into landscape mode in order to fill the frame completely on our monitors. It's a powerful and easy-to-navigate platform with a wide variety of options for displaying content. One of its standout features is how well it allows you to organize and categorize content for different devices. Whether you're managing a single display or an entire network across multiple locations, the ability to tailor content per device is a huge advantage. What I also appreciate is that the platform is constantly being updated. The developers actively work out any flaws or bugs, and the ongoing refinements keep the user experience fresh and reliable. I haven’t encountered anything I dislike — the continuous improvement and re-advising of features truly set Rise Vision apart. Cons Rise Vision is an excellent program. It's easy to navigate and offers a wide variety of options for displaying content, making it incredibly versatile for different needs. One of the best things about it is the constant updating and improvement — any flaws or issues are quickly addressed.
