Pros Allows for custom imagery which allows the branding of the organization to stay in tact. It is also user friendly. Cons I am unable to group the presentation into custom folders to allow better organization. This feature could be helpful for anyone that has future responsibility to handle RiseVision. It’s been a reliable, flexible platform that keeps our campus communication looking sharp and current. Multiple users can manage content with ease, and it’s been a great fit for both our tech-savvy and non-techy team members. Pros Rise Vision makes it easy to manage digital signage across campus. The templates are polished and user-friendly, and we love how quickly we can update content like announcements, events, and reminders in real time. Cons The design editor could use a few more built-in customization features. Sometimes we have to use outside tools to get a specific look before uploading to Rise. For us, it is so useful as we can show info in displays we have around. We like that we can create users and they are able to manage and create display content without having IT do it. We also love that we can manage the displays remotely for the rest of the offices. The templates include are super handy as well. We started using jitbit then switched to raspberry pi then google tv device and now we buy TVs with google OS so we do not need an extra device for this. Pros Content can be managed remotely. Allows us to create users so they can manage/create content themselves. Templates available Cons Sometimes, it is not too easy to customize some templates to make them look how you want. We have swapped out multiple devices with no downtime. Pros Zero downtime. Easy to use and easy to setup. Very little administration needed. Adding new content is a breeze Cons Wish it was easier to customize templates and to have templates that were more generic. None of the templates seem to fit my use case. Pros Risevision is very simple to use, and saves a lot of time while working in an environment with many users. Risevisions is there to help thier customers along the journey. Cons Risevisions price per device displaying is a little bit more expensive than the average competitor, but it is worth the price. Pros the Emergency alert function is awesome, if there is ever an alarm that goes off or an lockdown alert. every display simultaneously receiving that notification is an actual lifesaver Cons The learning curve of the portal and software can be pretty steep, but really is not that bad once you get a walk through. April 8, 2025 5.0 It has improved - presentations were hard to create from scratch when we first started using it, but now it has greatly improved and I have no complaints. Pros Ease of use for displaying information, fun presentation templates monthly. Able to set begin/end time for presentations. Able to use Youtube for videos we create. Saved brand colors for our University. Cons When our internet goes down the Rise Vision internet goes down as well. They have made our digital signage easier to manage and update as well as make it more visually appealing. Pros I really like the ease of use rise vision has. Their templates, especially their auto updating templates make life easy. Additionally I really like the ability to have rise vision on almost any hardware. Cons I wish their templates were a bit more editable. Specifically the formatting on the templates and some of the graphics; being able to move, edit, and change them. Compared to competitors it works very well and is low hassle. Pros We use Risevision to administer digital signage in our buildings and it works great for that. It's easy to specialize users for various roles. The actual presentations look professional. Cons The signage will occasionally go offline. Usually just needs a reboot. I had high hopes but as I continued to use the software, I noticed slight issues that I had with the software. This is just personal preference and should be taken as that. Pros The only pro that I found when using RIseVision was that their team was very helpful and willing to answer any questions. I liked using their software, however, I felt there were easier options. Cons Creating content was not user friendly and was time consuming. I would recommend using Canva or another form of content creation app to make content and upload instead. Pros With intuitive navigation, even the least tech-savvy customers can browse through the menu effortlessly. The design is clean, modern, and the menu items are well-organized, making it easy to find exactly what you're looking for. Setup on multiple platforms is easy. They have good responsive customer support. Intergrating with clients is smooth also. We use Rise Vision often from simple to complex setups. Cons There are not many.
