Keep track of candidates.

Pros

Easy to learn and use quickly. Easy to rate candidates and share information with stakeholders. Also easy to set up questionnaires/homework for candidates. Allows for customization to use the language your company uses.

Cons

Moving candidates to new positions. Easy to do but notes don't follow candidates. Also doesn't allow you to delete the previous application which is needed often. At times, we may repost a job and would like to move candidates and their notes without having two files.

Their customer support is top notch and the system is obviously usable and you can do what you need to do. It’s a “good” system, not a great system.

Pros

The best part is that they’re TRYING to innovate. They just came out with some new features and that’s wonderful.

Cons

The ease of use as well as the user interface isn’t the BEST. It’s really not BAD, but Other interfaces are just better.

I used it for many years at my previous work. It's very easy to use, and it has everything we need as recruiters, you just need to select the appropriate subscription for your needs

Cons

In the subscription we had, when introducing a new CV in the platform, we needed to do it manually. Maybe with a higher price, there is this feature in another package.

Pros

It is easy to use and fairly intuitive. Also, depending on what what your recruiting need are, you can purchase upgraded plans that offer more functionality.

Cons

Only con I can think off is wishing that for months you did not need Jazz that it could be put on "hold" without being charged. With the current model you have to pay for the entire year.

Pros

The UX is nice and the software is easy to learn. All-around JazzHR's interface and usability are no better or worse than most competitors.

Cons

Horrid experience. From implementation to customer service and support, we've never had a good experience with anyone from JazzHR. The representative who gave us the demo was completely lacking in knowledge and could answer very few of the questions our team had for her about the ATS. When our team had an issue with removing evaluations they relayed there was nothing they could do and mentioned they'd make a note of this issue to the technical team. When we sought to suspend the service our account representative was in no way helpful and continuously repeated whatever script he was reading from. I would never recommend an ATS or any other product with such horrible customer service. Regardless of the quality of the product, there will come a time when you need to communicate with customer service/billing/tech support. With Jazz, that experience will not be great or even productive.

I think JazzHR is a great recruiting tool. I just wish I had more training from my HR team in order to learn the ins and outs of this tools. I will definitely reuse it should we need to hire additional team members.

Pros

I recently used JazzHR to recruit a new team member for my own team. JazzHR was very easy to use and navigate. I was able to select my top candidates and view their resumes directly on JazzHR.

Cons

Not sure if this is a JazzHR issue but none of my candidates submitted a cover letter. My HR team set up the job posting and I was only in charged on the recruitment and viewing candidates on JazzHR so maybe it is a settings that we forgot to check. Other than that, I think it is a great tool!

Pros

Easy to use, customizable, inexpensive, links jobs to popular sites like Indeed.com and others. UI is good compared to other entry level products.

Cons

Some limitations, the search function could be stronger. The user classifications don't quite work perfectly for my needs.

Amazing and I would highly recommend this software.

Pros

JazzHR is amazing, very user friendly, easy to track emails and add notes and share with your hiring team. It is also simple to get a hold of support when needed and to add or delete templates for emails and onboarding.

Cons

Reporting tools could be improved on. From my understanding when it came to running reports or KPI's it was not easy.

Ease of organization and communication throughout the hiring and on-boarding process.

Pros

The organization and communication features. As a growing company, communication is always something we are working to improve. Being able to tag users and allow all of the hiring team members to leave their comments and check in on the status of applicants has been very helpful. Very user friendly and straightforward interface. There are many ways to automate processes that we are hoping to take advantage of soon as our internal processes become more defined.

Cons

Minor details such as not being able to archive old interview templates without losing candidate data, would like folders to organize past and current (active and filled) jobs to be able to find them easier, sometimes contact info is cut off on candidates profiles, etc.

Very easy to track through interview process. Love the discussion tab, it eliminates soooo many emails!

Pros

Very user friendly, love all the cool features I continue to learn about. Love the dashboard layout

Cons

Would like to be able to move a candidate to another job and be able to CARRY all the interviews from prior job over with them. SOmetimes, I am interviewing a candidate and in the middle of the iterview, we realize they might be better suited for another position we have open. I then have to add them to the other job and start a new interview all over again. Would be nice under the candidates profile if on the dropdown menu, where it says "add job" there could also be a "move to job" fucntion basically. Also, many times when "Candidate May be a Duplicate" appears and you click on "view candidates," it shows a ton of candidates and none of them have the same name or even a name that's close. So not sure what the algorithm is on that.

Pros

Honestly, \[sensitive content hidden\] was the main reason for me staying with JazzHR. He was attentive, easy to work with, easily accessible and helped me with my concerns. I like the support Jazz offers as well

Cons

The pricing is a little more than breezyhr or other competitors. I would have liked just the ATS component. Adding zoom integration for a extra fee is unfortunate.

horrible company, they lied by saying there is a free trial. then you get charged $800 for it with no refunds. They are hurting for cash. You can go to over fifty other companies for less than half the price. with real service and a real usable program. there program is just horrible and NOT user friendly

I hire for basically the same job (or a few jobs) at 23 campuses across the U.S. A lot of ATS companies will charge you per location and even per user which obviously doesn't work for us. Jazz charges a flat fee per month with unlimited users, locations (called departments), jobs, and postings on free job boards. It's an incredible value for the money you pay. I'm still discovering new features and better ways to build my workflow and improve my screening process each time I log in.

Pros

I looked at a lot of different ATS options, and this one knocked everyone else out of the park. For the money you pay, it is definitely the best value. I love the many integration options. Instead of using my calendar, Asana, email, our application site, and spreadsheets for tracking candidates and reporting, Jazz allows me to have every part of my hiring and on boarding system in one place. The knock out questions and questionnaires have increased my ability to screen candidates as well, saving me the time I would have spent interviewing unqualified candidates. It's also very easy to set up and use. Customer service is on point, and they patiently walked me through the set up process and are quick to answer any questions that come up. I'm very happy with the decision I made.

Cons

So far so good. I really can't think of anything that I don't like about it. I would love to see them add an automated reference check to the system, but that's not super common with ATS anyway. They seem to be constantly improving the system and adding features. I imagine it won't be long before they add this.

Pros

User friendly, has bells and whistles that are included in the standard package. In my previous position we used a very large ATS that had features we paid for but were not needed, where Jazz is perfect for our smaller size corporation. Price is right.

Cons

When I upload resumes, occasionally they do not format the correct information in the right spots. Easy fix to edit.

\-The program is easy to use and easy to learn -Many of the features are intuitive, like being able to drag and drop the ordering of questions in the applications -Good integration with job boards

Cons

I feel like there are a lot of missing features that the program should have: -Be able to hide jobs (we have a lot of old jobs that we still want to keep, but we don't need to see them constantly) - Be able to select a default view (for example, always have it show Open Jobs when I go to the site rather than having to select that view -Be able to pull PPC report by yourself, rather than having to contact support every time you want it -Be able to set high priority jobs so they pop up to the top of your list -Allow the search tool to search for similar names (example: searching "Melnaie" would also show "Melanie") -Have a way to combine metrics for multiple postings (for example, we will often post a position several times before it is filled. It would be great to select multiple postings and then have it combine total applicants, total screened, total interviewed, etc. for purposes of reporting)

### "Cheap customer service"

It was alright while using their service but canceling the subscription was not an easy process.

Pros

UI is clean and straightforward. Not as expensive as other options out there.

Cons

Their customer service is subpar. I emailed them to cancel the subscription and they missed it so I got charged again. When I emailed them again, they did issue a refund but it was only partial. I asked again for a full refund but they refused. I have to contact my credit card company now.

Overall experience with JazzHR has been positive. Customer service is very helpful.

Pros

Product is easy to use. Reporting section allows for easy data generation. Customization of work flows and task assignment allows for notifications to appropriate staff that they have a candidate to look at and decision to be made for an interview or decline. JazzHR saved my company a significant amount of money in recruiting costs.

Cons

They do not have a contract with Indeed for job sponsorship. Jobs are posted to indeed, but if you need to sponsor the job you have to go though Indeed instead of through JazzHR. Would be nice to use one application for all recruiting needs

In my career, I've used over 10 applicant tracking systems and none of them have been as easy or straightforward as HR. I'm left baffled that it is not the industry leader and by the cost of the product. It does not have all the bells or whistles of a Lever or Greenhouse, but a lot of companies (like mine) just don't need that.

Our company has been using Jazz for over 2 years now. We like the basic functionality of the tool. It allows us to post jobs, rate candidates, and move people through our hiring process. While we would like the tool to do more, it has been clear that Jazz has been going through a lot of changes in the past year - new design, new name, new features. As a user it can feel like whiplash to go through so many changes. Eventually, I'm sure it will all shake out and be great, but week to week it's only average. Customer support has been very weak; again, probably a product of their fast growth.

Pros

Good basic organization for an ATS, for the price we are paying it's worth it.

Cons

Poor customer support and constantly changing features that are hard to learn on the fly; only so much time in the day to do my current job in addition to learning a new system or feature every few weeks.

JazzHR is very intuitive, it's easy to use, it does a great job parsing, it offers e-signatures, and makes on-boarding very easy. It has a nice, clean interface, and the buttons are in places that seem familiar. The staff is very friendly and supportive. Sometimes there are self-help options only. I've had a lot of trouble getting my outlook and calendar to sync since we use Office365. Our IT team has needed to get involved as well. My big gripe is that they don't have to report for activity in "Discussions". Since I source most of my candidates proactively without waiting for them to apply, I depend heavily on keeping good notes and need to be able to run reports for the profiles I last opened or notes I last made-- or made within a specified time frame. Unfortunately, I can't do that and it's been a major drawback since that wasn't clear early on. They do have a feature request function though, and I have requested that functionality. We'll see what happens. It is also not as customizable as I was told. I rely on the phone, not email. I quite often only have a phone number as well since I don't bother storing work emails for passive candidates. This is a problem because Jazz uses email as the primary means of sorting candidates and mandates email be put into their profile.

Pros

Cons

\- Lots of self-help troubleshooting - Trouble for connecting to legacy systems (could be our fault) - Can't run reports for activity from previous day - Reports seem basic - Not customizable in the candidate profile layout or required fields

Pros

I love the functionality options and how easy it is to setup. It's a great tool for hiring managers, recruiters, and applicants and candidates. It's helped us streamline communications and manage our brand more consistently. It is easy to setup automation so we can focus our time with the candidates that are a good fit for our company.

Cons

Managing employee referrals - I thought it was going to be a great tool to do this but it turned out to lack the customization we need for it to be effective.
