Pros

Very easy to use and reasonably priced. You have the ability to create cutomized features for job postings on various no cost platforms with the ability to track applicant sources.

Cons

You have to update each job posting daily and since we are a global search firm it would be very helpful to be able to update a number of the same job postings all at one time.

### "Jazz is always Improving"

We started using Jazz before it was called Jazz and I haven't been able to offer any suggestions for improvements because they always beat me to it! They're constantly adding new features without disrupting the basic way it works which means I don't have to change the way I work until I have time to check out the improvements. The only change I wasn't thrilled with was the name change - I like the name "Resumator" better - :-). I often get calls from other ATS providers, but after I watch their demonstrations I have to tell them that they don't offer anything better than Jazz.

Pros

very easy and intuitive to use. price is great for a small and budget conscious business.

### "Gets better and better and better"

I have been a Jazz user for the past 2.5 years. By far the best and easiest ATS to work with from Day 1. No need to have a pricey consultant come in and do the set up and training, no need to waste time in long and boring training classes, very easy to use and navigate and using additional features on the Administration side are very easy to pick up and learn. The reporting feature is straight forward. It gives you reports that you need and if need to download them just export to CSV and make your pivot tables etc. New features are constantly being rolled out and implemented which other companies would make you pay for the added functionality, not Jazz they provide the new features for free or in some cases where it is a 3rd party application they may charge a nominal fee. Scheduling interviews is a breeze.

### "An Incredible Time Saver"

Our company has been using the Jazz ATS since around April of this year and the amount of time it has saved is unbelievable. We went from listing job ads manually on multiple websites to having Jazz list them for us and maintain the tracking of views and traffic. Before we would need to sift through hundreds of emails and then opening each attachment to view the resumes, call the applicant, bring them into the office to fill out the application and start the process there. Now, applicants complete the application when they send us their resume. It is all located in an easy to search application and the whole hiring team can look at the resumes instead of one person checking their email and printing the resumes for others to look at. I 100% recommend the Jazz ATS to any business. Our business is a smallish 120 employee establishment but since we are a sales company, we hire sales reps in batches of 10-20 several times a year. Having the Jazz ATS has make the hiring process so much smoother.

Pros

Easy to search applicants, All applicants in one location, Tasks/notes can be sent to individual members of the hiring team or the group as a whole, too many other things to mention.

Cons

The "Help" FAQ section is a little messy at times when you don't know the exact words to search for while you are learning the system but they do provide multiple training sessions for anyone who will be using the program.

I have had a positive experience with the product. I did not expect this to be a WorkDay style product, but the system does what you need it to do in order to manage a recruiting / talent acquisition function. We are able to use the product in several countries and all of the end users have mentioned how easy the product is to use. For the price you are paying, this is a GREAT product.

Pros

1\. The main thing that I liked about the software was the ability to create custom workflows and actions. 2. The price point of the products is very good based on the unlimited data records you can have in the system. 3. Great features that allow you to integrate with other web platforms. 4. You are able to create custom forms and share the data with external parties with ease. 5. Great web tutorials - MAKE SURE YOU READ 6. Very easy to use.

Cons

1\. You have to do the configuration on your own. If you are somewhat technical, you should be able to do it with ease as long as you follow the tutorials. 2. The embedded email tool is good, but it can use some enhancements.

Having 1 system for recruiting and simplifying the hiring process.

Pros

Complete customization for different workflows in hiring. Tagging others in notes. Customizable reporting. Sync's with google calendar. Very easy to use. I like that you can rate candidates and prioritize recruiting.

Cons

I wish there was a way to better sort duplicates, excited for the Zip Release for increased user functionality. I would like a way to better create a unified call list versus each specific job. It would also be great if you could better sort potential duplicate candidates versus manually searching and adjusting it.

### "Years of useless ATS put to bed by JazzHR"

Integrates beautifully with StackOverflow Talent, Linkedin, easy candidate profile creation, totally intuitive, extremely responsive, delightfully customizable, wildly cost effective. For years, when talking to software engineers, I'd say if you want to get rich make a beautiful applicant tracking system. This is it, done recommending that. :)

Pros

This software is amazing for crafting a candidate experience that seems personal while being largely automated. Need to reject a candidate? Don't want to forget, but don't want to give the news same day? Disposition them in the system and schedule the email, all in one place. Want to make notes on a candidate and want to restrict who can see the note? You got it. Need to make sure the next note is visible by everyone? Easy. Ask Jazz for a quote and get ready to fall out of your chair because it's EXTREMELY affordable.

Cons

My HR team doesn't use this, this is mostly a Recruiting team tool. I am a Lead Tech Recruiter and feel like I can conquer the world and triple our engineering team with the help of JazzHR.

The inability to update job descriptions was untenable. Customer support was hit or miss. They'd usually respond quickly, but they often couldn't help. Also frustrating that they charge extra for minimum functionality like reporting.

Pros

The UI was nice, and my interview team liked the ability to use the interview guides with note taking while they were talking with candidates.

Cons

Once you've published job postings to Indeed, LinkedIn, and other boards, you cannot update the posting. This is completely unreasonable and unrealistic.

Overall JazzHR is a great ATS which is very easy to learn and to use. Worth every penny.

Pros

I have used Jazz as an ATS for about 2 years, I just love how uncomplicated it is! I didn't need much training on it neither did my juniors. I particularly loved that it let me set up knockout questions in the application, which really helped in weeding out candidates who did not meet our minimum qualifications. It also makes it very easy to collaborate with other recruiters.

Cons

It doesn't rank candidates according to a preset criteria e.g. keywords. So when shortlisting I literally had to go through all the CVs one by one, which is very time-consuming.

Well-rounded applications, the ability to customize workflows, better communication tools for the hiring team. I'm sure there will be small issues that pop up eventually, but I'm confident in the customer support team to address them quickly.

Pros

JazzHR is extremely intuitive and easy to use. Transferring from fairly popular HRIS system to JazzHR was a breath of fresh air. I appreciate the control you have over the applications and profiles. There was very little training that I had to give to Hiring Managers and Interviewers when it came to using this service. Any issues that I found were quickly resolved by the customer support team.

Very straightforward and easy to navigate through the tool. Posting jobs are very easy and a great ATS for recruiting. Can be customized as per your business processes as well.

Cons

Customer service can definitely be better. Also, the tool doesnt merge duplicate candidates, you have to go in and do that manually. This should be automated.

Amazing customer service. I cannot express how easy this system is to use. I wish I had this 2 years ago!

Pros

It is so simple to set up and get started. It saves time with the various organizational tools such auto-reply emails, job-specific questionnaires, and ease of integration to our website. The application process is simple for the applicants to complete - no logins or passwords to remember. The site has a responsive layout which makes it mobile-friendly (more than 85% of our applicants apply via a mobile device).

Cons

To use for onboarding with e-forms, it takes a little more set-up time in creating the e-forms. It would be nice to have available common new hire documents already set up as e-forms (i.e. W4 tax forms, I-9, etc.). When the forms are set up, the new hire will need to complete duplicate information on the forms instead of it being auto-filled (name, address, etc.). However, once the forms are set up, they're there and can be saved and used for all new hires.

This saves us a ton of time and ensures that we capture the data that is important to our recruitment partners. We can run compliance reports and can disposition candidates through a series of knockout questions. It has everything we need.

Pros

Our company tried a couple of other options before finding JazzHR. Honestly, I wish we would have found JazzHR sooner. It would have saved us a ton of headaches. This software is very easy to use and took hardly any time at all to set up. We've been using it for a little over a year now and couldn't be happier. The cost is extremely low compared to other options. In my current role, I conduct a number executive/C-Suite, VP, Director and Accounting searches and this tool is hands down the best one I've used in my nearly 20 years in HR.

Cons

The name...but it's so inconsequential, it's hardly worth mentioning.

Cost effective, easy to use and can scale with you as you grow. Easily integrates with BambooHR and other HRIS platforms. The customer support at JazzHR is responsive and helpful and they are always adding new functionality to improve the product.

Pros

It's the best system on the market for the price and functionality. JazzHR easily integrates with free job boards saving posting time and looks great on mobile!

Cons

The reporting could be improved. JazzHR integrates with a number of other HR Tech providers but at times the API can be limiting.

For the money, you cannot beat JazzHR. Its an affordable option and has solves a lot of our recruiting admin needs. We love being able to send mass emails to candidates and sort them by the different jobs we have

Cons

We have two separate locations that we recruit for and we could not integrate the two together. We had to create two separate accounts so we constantly are logging off and back in under the different accounts.

Organization and efficiency for candidate pipeline management, job postings and tracking, and referral tracking.

Pros

I love the look of JazzHR. It is very visually pleasing and allows for ease throughout its use. Very simple to move candidates through different parts of the pipeline. The interview guides are great and nice to have it stored in its own tab. The placement of resume and other documents on candidates profile is efficient and easy to access.

Cons

Reporting is a bit wonky and hard to customize/organize. I wish assessments could somehow be integrated into interview guides instead of having them be separate.

We've been with JazzHR since it was started as Resumator 10 years ago. They've been a great partner through our growth, and offer easy solutions to posting positions and managing workflow and a great price. Their newest integrations with Namely may prove to be helpful as well.

Pros

Rarely goes down, easy to teach managers how to use, minimal requirements for usage, and an affordable price.

Cons

It doesn't integrate with LinkedIn unless you purchase the premium LinkedIn package, and the name doesn't give a good indicator of what they do.

We are tracking applicants through JazzHR and have found out we get more applicants through a specific job site over others. This has helped us realize we can spend more money on one job site versus wasting money on others we don't get a large number of hits on.

Pros

I love the search features within JazzHR. You can search by name, phone, email, and even key words in a resume.

Cons

I don't like that we can't use a spell correct when sending emails directly to an applicant form the JazzHR system.

I have used Jazz (formally the Resumator) for the last 3 years and enjoy how easy it is to use and how it integrates with other software that our team also utilizes (Sparkhire and Namely specifically). Also, it is easy to share information with the hiring manager and communicate with candidates.

Pros

Ease of use increases communication with hiring managers, access to templates, provides a clear view of the candidates that are in process.

Cons

The software is robust, but you may not necessarily need to use all the features.

Too many to list.

Pros

We have had this product for around 4 months and so far we love it. The ease of use in posting jobs and promoting them onto the job boards is extremely simple. I have found that it is very easy to communicate with my hiring managers on the progression of the candidates. For what we are using this program for, it does what we need it to do.

Cons

If I am required to say a con, I don't like that I am limited to how much I can copy and paste into a job posting. Other than that, so far, we really like this product!
