The organization had not previously had a formal ATS tool and this one is allowing us to be flexible and scalable to upcoming anticipated growth.

Pros

Ease of use both for administration, recruiters and hiring managers.

Cons

We are so new to the product but we don't yet have an answer here (which is good).

Reason for choosing JazzHR

Pricing was fixed monthly rather than variable based on users (which we anticipated will increase for us due to company growth).

Pros

Ease of use - Jazz was very simple to adapt to. I think it's simple to pick up and was easy to learn with very little training. I found the tutorial easy enough to follow and picked it right it up.

Cons

I do find it difficult to search for jobs, would be nice if you could sort alphabetically. The Dashboard only includes job that I have posted, and since I have just come on board to a new firm, I am also working on jobs that others have posted, so it's difficult to keep scrolling from page to page to find the right job req.

My overall experience has been great. Jazz is linked with most of the job sites and convenient to manage applications right from screening to onboarding process. I recommend this software.

Pros

I have been using Jazz and also worked at administering the platform. It has many inbuilt email templates. Workflows can be customized as per org requirement. The customer support via email is extremely quick and respond within a day. I also like the reporting and analytics feature. We can enable an SSO and its easy to add or delete people and provide access.

Cons

Some people complain that the emails go to spam.

The hiring "team" functionality will rely on your team being skilled at following SOP - there are a lot of "steps" you can create with the software, but unless everyone follows them it can become a mess.

Pros

The user interface is very intuitive. The features are fantastic - being able to have the process flow so seamlessly is very helpful. The interview guides and interview scoring are particularly useful.

Cons

While you can "copy" a posting and manually repost it, you cannot "refresh" a post on the boards until 90 days of it being active. It's also odd that you can't delete old interview templates - I end up naming them strange things starting with "XXX" so they sink to the bottom of the alphabetical list. We do not use this for our HRIS at all - for that we went with a different software.

### "Easiest Set Up Ever!"

We are able to add staff faster and more efficiently for all three of our locations. We are a fast growing company and being able to share resumes, comments and interview responses makes hiring decisions much easier. By using the automated responses we were able to improve our applicant's experience as well. That was important to us, but responding to all those emails was often overwhelming.

Pros

Literally the quickest and easiest implementation I've experienced with any vendor of any type. JazzHR is supportive all along the way, but they have you up and running so quickly; it feels like all you do is push a button! The system is intuitive and easy to use.

Cons

I'd like to be able to sort by rating within a status sort.

### "Great Value - a good product for a good price"

Pros

It's easy to use and is customizable by departments. Each of our department has a different process and we were able to configure Jazz to meet all of our needs. I also really appreciate having a dedicated Account Manager who always been accessible - he's come onsite to meet me and jumped on calls whenever I've had questions. That's becoming harder and harder to find these days so it's something I really appreciate.

Cons

I wished it would have integrated with LinkedIn Recruiter Lite - but I think that's more of a LinkedIn thing vs. a Jazz thing. Overall - I think for the price - you really get a lot of value. Yeah - there are other solutions out there with better reporting and what not - but they are also 10x the price. If you are a start-up or a small business - Jazz is a great solution for you.

Pros

I love almost everything about this software. Most things are very intuitive, the various integrations work pretty much seamlessly and it has moved our hiring process light speeds ahead. I find it very intuitive

Cons

I really wish interviews and documents were tied to candidates and not jobs. It's very frustrating that when I move a candidate to another job previous interview and any attached documents don't follow them.

It's straight forward, manages the applicant tracking process from start to finish, allows for ample notes, can work with individualized process flows to work with your organization

Cons

Does not implement with our HR software, great for the start up vibe where all types of startups are used, not the best when you have established users of traditional HR brands

Pros

\-Customer Services is fantastic. I have not had a negative experience with any of their reps (over phone, email, chat, voicemail follow up, etc.). They hire great people who are doing a marvelous job. -The ability to edit the functionality of the system to what we need is perfect for our fast moving and growing company's hiring needs. -Very good pricing.

Cons

\-Some functionality still needs to be worked on to allow for better reporting, edit ability of workflows, changes to interview structures/questions, etc..

When I joined the company, they had no ATS. This product immediately created a recruiting infrastructure for them that is sustainable. Jazz also helped us to immediately fortify our onboarding process and has been praised by Finance in terms of its ability to capture documents against employee name. We love it so much that we recently brought on Namely as it will integrate.

Pros

I love the intuitive ease of use and that training users has been very easy. I find that the database is very easy to keep clean in terms of merging and deleting duplicate candidates.

Cons

The two things I do not like are that the emails I send through the system do not have my name as the sender. The other thing that can be frustrating is having to start over when changing workflows to a position.

EVERYTHING! The best part was the integration with LinkedIn. I have all of my users fully trained and we use JazzHR to the best of our abilities. It allows me to streamline the recruiting and hiring process.

Cons

I wish I was able to hire my employees and have this software link to my payroll system. This way the full life cycle of the candidate to employee is housed in one spot.

I just answered all that...

Pros

I like drawing from multiple sites, able to send out our SOP's, Employee Handbook, Offer Letters, etc.

Cons

They Really Need to figure out a way to copy Indeed's ability to recognize prior applicants and to show every time that candidate has previously applied. I waste A Lot of time, go over applicants that Do Not Want a Job and only want unemployment welfare. After screen those out, I have to do the whole process again every time they apply...unless I simply memorize Everyone's name Every time they apply.

Time-saving, Tracking applicants, Tracking Interview Experiences, and Reports that help us to make decisions. I can wait for you guys have a Survey tool for Employers!

Pros

It's a very easy and friendly software to use. At begging I was worried how complex would be to train 30 Hiring Managers, but JazzHR also has an Onboarding Assistant with a Hiring Manager Training.

Cons

Users management and internal communication through the software. We should have more freedom to set up privileges per user.

This software allows for a more efficient and streamlined recruiting process. Hiring managers across the firm have easy access to system and candidates.

Cons

Reporting around applicant flow can be a little clunky. We customized this report but it still requires manipulation.

JazzHR has greatly improved our ability to track and manage applicants, and create a more consistent candidate experience throughout the process.

Pros

It has all of the essential functionality of many of the bigger more expensive options out there, but at a price that makes it available to smaller companies with less room in their budget. The careers page, candidate texting, and unlimited users, with a month-to-month commitment were the major selling points as our company was new to using an ATS, and hesitant to make a long term commitment right away.

Cons

The reports can be a bit difficult to navigate, but I will own the fact that we haven't had much time to dive into that yet and try customizing reports to get the information we're looking for. But that's the only thing that stands out to me.

I love the email integrations, email templates with optional attachments, I love that my boss took about 5 minutes to get the hang of viewing and changing dispositions. I couldn't be happier.

Pros

Ease of use. I looked at 10+ RMS' and participated in 7+ demonstrations. Jazz was and still is, by far, the most user-friendly, especially for hiring managers/non-HR employees interested in easily viewing and communicating.

Cons

When I originally assessed JazzHR, on-boarding capabilities weren't available so I went with another product.

It has been nothing but exceptional. We have had no issue losing candidates info or not being able to contact them through JazzHR.

Pros

We use this software in order to organized the 100s of applications we get for each job opening on my team. Every time someone applies JazzHR sends an email that allows you to preview that candidate. It is also excellent to organize candidates in to tiers and send them reject letters if necessary.

Cons

With any HR software it takes a bit of time to learn and you have to make accounts for each colleague that is involved in the hiring process. At our workplace, the HR decides who has access to all of the info and who does not.

Easy to use, can invite hiring managers into the site. Can get e-mail notifications.

Pros

It is visually appealing. I like how clean the screens are (never cluttered with too many words or options). I love that I can customize our workflows, do keyword searches, e-mail directly from the website, add team members, and can easily get support. I also love that it shows me when we get duplicate candidates, and what other positions they applied to. The ease of downloading candidates and moving them between jobs is also great.

Cons

It would be nice if the reporting function was more detailed and had a wider range of functionality. Reporting capabilities are good but could be better.

Pros

I like the fact that we can customize some areas to fit our needs. Hiring managers are able to submit job descriptions but it does not post live, it waits for approval. This helps HR to make the formats are the same and we can make the necessary edits before the position goes live.

Cons

the ability to update add more choices to some of the drop downs. Approvers do not get notification when a manager edits a position and its back on draft mode and off the website.

Pros

how easy it is to use. Super user friendly and intuitive, so there is very little employee training needed

Cons

There are definitely still some updates needed. For example having to write out a new email each time rather than being able to attach a template email when you email out an offer letter or onboarding packet. It would also be nice if you had the option to turn off email notifications for specific hiring managers, rather than having to switch everyone to 'daily digest' emails.
