Overall: We are using it to funnel all of our resumes into one place for our Human Resource Department. Works very well for the purpose we use it for.
Pros: It is easy to sort through people who have applied for jobs. Very quick to post a new job. Nice that you can control the different level of access that different recruiters have
Cons: Dislike that we can only post a job in one location. When searching for an individuals name many times it will not consolidate all of the different jobs that one person has applied to, even if they have used the same email address. Can glitch when you try to add a note to a person.
"Recommendation to HireGround from Carol Duin"
Overall: HireGround's suite of products and staff are a local Calgary company that I would recommend to any company that is interested in purchasing an ATS and or a job board that yields many returns. As a native Calgarian I am always interested in supporting our local market and have utilized HireGround to thoroughly implement three ATS for Enerflex, Athabaskan Resource Company and Trican Well Service. When preparing a business proposal for all three of these former employers I had the pleasure and confidence that HireGround would not only exceed my expectations and budgetary considerations and the scope of our project recommending additional services and customizations for free and or at a nominal price. Secondly the HireGround team is proactive at producing new releases frequently, knowledgeable in the talent management arena, flexible and always available to listen and implement changes and most importantly customize fields that other vendors would not even consider. "Needs a LOT of work to make it functional"
Pros: It is user-friendly for the most part and is easy to use with little instruction.
Cons: There are so many basics lacking with this software. Job postings don't have easily accessible job ID's. If you have multiple recruiters, there is no easy way to permanently filter to see just your postings. Takes several steps to do basic activities like send a rejection email to a candidate and then reject them. There are so many other options out there that this one just isn't worth it.
"Great value product"
Overall: Excellent product, worth considering if you are shopping for a new ATS, your first ATS, or looking to save money.
Pros: Low cost, high customer support, not cumbersome and easy to use!
Cons: Basic - not a lot of extra functionality that you see in some of the higher end ATS's, does not link to our HRIS.
