If nothing else the audibility of customer interactions, this allows us to see any \\ all communications with the customer.

Pros

Only pay for the functionality you need. Some other CRM's include marketing, systems management, financials, etc. but if you don't need them don't buy them. Its a very easy system for users to pick up, comprised of a core architecture: Customers \\ Companies = Accounts Contacts = the customers name, email, telephone Tasks = To Do list Activities = records the history of what you've done with that customer Opportunties = Won or lost sales records Then there's the reporting, where anything you put into Really Simple Systems can be interrogated, not just the content of certain restricted fields.

Cons

We're looking to do some integration and other CRM platforms easily allow this through API services, such as IFTTT or Zapier, Really Simple Systems only provide an API. You can of course code this into whatever you want, but will require time.

### "User friendly system!"

We log all of our client base on RSS and multiple users use the system for different things. The activity notes help anyone see what previous users have input and as it also logs system generated documents or uploaded files, it is easy to keep a great audit trail of our dealings with customers.

Pros

The software is really easy to navigate and use. It's user friendly in its layout and can be changed/adjusted to what is required from the business. I have used the system for generating reports and even if I have been unsure of how to do them, I always seem to be able to play around and figure out what is needed quite easily.

Cons

Sometimes the display changes for no reason. Sometimes the way the notes are shown on the screen may change and then change back another day - this can be a little frustrating.

\- Definitely the most straight forward and easy to use CRM I've had experience with. - makes tracking a ticket queue and related accounts a breeze - Friendly UI - Integrates well with email, billing, phone system, marketing and sales tools.

Cons

\- it doesn't have certain advanced features of other crms, but then that is the point

Pros

Customisations were easy to introduce, the team helped us fully integrate these changes and they are now used daily within the business

Cons

At the outset the system is quite rigid, but given it has to be used across multiple industries we understand why it has to be this way

### "Simple as promised, but let down by a fixed architecture and apathetic customer service attitude."

It was adequate when we started out, but the service forced us to explore other options.

Pros

As expected it's simple to use and get the hang of - basic but functional. The latest version - 5 - is bright and clear on the screen.

Cons

The architecture is inflexible and really didn't suit our business (combined B2B and B2C) without us fudging workarounds. We would have lived with it, and even put up with the mid-term price hike they sprung on us, but it was customer service that killed it. Emails and phone responses were cold and unhelpful. I know they are British so we were prepared for the attitude, but even with that they didn't seem to care about a small business our size. This spurred us to look around, and we found solutions out there with totally superior architecture and service that were priced similarly. So, to the relief of my staff, we made the effort to migrate away.

### "Really Simple Systems CRM review 2022"

RSS CRM has really helped me to keep track of my day to day activities and to keep all of our contacts and projects in one place. I am able to get to each project quickly and to review notes to see what is going on with each client.

Pros

What I like most about this software is being able to easily have all the information for each client in one place and being able to quickly figure out what is going on with each client. I also like that I can set up task for each employee to make sure that things are being handled and I can check to see if the task was completed.

Cons

Integrating with our business was kind of difficult because our business is different and we do things different than others but RSS was very helpful in helping us set up for our needs.

Pros

Really Simple Systems really is simple to use. All client information is clearly set out and easily obtainable. Tasks are simple to set, complete and follow up on and the automated syncing of client emails saves considerable time.

Cons

On occasions I would like to upload documents which are too large for Really Simple Systems.

Im very satisfied at the moment with RSS CRM. It keeps our accounts very organized which is extremely important for my organization.

Pros

Really Simple Systems has taken account management to a whole new level for my organization. Before using RSS we were using Google Sheets to manage all of our accounts, but with our accounts increasing each year, we needed something simple and easy to use. RSS not only made account management simple and easy, but the set-up is so clearly organized, there's so many options to run different reports, and the customer support is outstanding. What I love most is that each account get's their own profile and within each profile I can upload documents or add an activity such as noting a quote which for my organization is important to track.

Cons

It took some time to learn how to use the system to its full potential, or at least the potential i needed for my organization's purpose, but the customer service support was and still is amazing in helping me learn the system.

RSS CRM was the best fit for my organizations needs and inexpensive.

WJ is a small local business based in Hull. We have around 30 employees and specialise in several different areas from anti-slip decking to Timber Treatment and through to metalwork engineering. As the company salesman it is essential that I have regular and consistent contact with my customers as well as a smooth way of keeping records of these meetings. Without Really Simple Systems I would use a diary to keep track of this. This however makes it very difficult for anybody but me to understand where we are with each customer in our sales and follow up cycle. I always struggle to maintain order with this. Really Simple Systems offers not only a great way to keep and maintain a customer diary but also allows me to keep meeting notes and documents all stored in the same that everyone can also see.

Pros

When we have ever had issues with the system and contacted customer service we have always had a response within 24hrs which has been understandable, concise and always helpful. the task setting and reminder system is accurate, amendable and 'Really Simple'. We had an issue around sales tracking and Forecasting where we wanted to be able to see monthly potential sales if a sale was to come off. However when we questioned and asked if this was possible within about 6 hours the facility to do what we want had been added in to the system which we greatly appreciated.

Cons

We have no issues around the system.

How customisable the whole UI is, so easy to use. Reports are a breeze & segmentation is very easy

Cons

The Email marketing side - The mailshot builder could have more fonts & the creation wizard could be a little easier to use

Having trialled many systems we find Really Simple to be really simple. It is straightforward and intuitive to use, and for a small business it is a very cost effective tool that really makes a difference to our operations.

It suits my small company and the way we use it I have sales and marketing rolled into one system

Pros

Its access and scalability. It allows me to set my tasks and reminders up for each client and to keep an eye on contact strategy

Cons

Pricing seems to change and features sometimes difficult to get the best out of them

seemed to offer best value for money at the time but pricing has gone up. I still believe its good value for what it offers and woud recommend it.

### "Transparent marketing site, solid UI, very spotty support"

We pay for the enterprise license, but that doesn't included dedicated support people. It's clear that when emailing support, who ever has time picks up the ticket. This results in a lot of back and forth, confusion, and re-explaining use cases because we need this tool for a somewhere non-standard use case. I wish I could just talk to the same person until we're done setting this up. Even when meeting with specific folks online, it's as though we never have all the of the right people in the room to get the story straight, and we have to go away to complete tasks, and then when we reconvene, different people are present.

Pros

It's cheap and will--theoretically--help us streamline research recruiting

Cons

It's very difficult to set up. Depending on which modules you opt into and what features you choose to use, you are likely to not set the tool up right. I needed support to reset my account 3 times before it was set up in a way that met our functional needs.

Reason for choosing Spotler CRM

Because the marketing site was entirely transparent on the pricing model, and it offered up front information on GDPR. I didn't have to schedule a sales call. Plus, the price was cheap enough that it was easy to convince leadership to pay for this tool.

RSS has helped us streamline communication with clients and internal employees. Really useful!

Pros

The product is very easy to integrate with existing systems. I log onto it every day to copy in correspondence and check on past emails/etc. It makes my life a lot easier, and is always reliable!

Cons

I'd like to be able to search with a reference word – appreciate this could get many results but could work in a similar way to searching in email! It would make some cases of searching for a specific issue or product (in our line of work, a manuscript name) easier.

Use it for my own software business and 3 other software clients based in New Zealand and UK and it can be used from complete sales pipeline management through to lead generation, depending what my clients need, simple customisation of database fields and screens makes it user configurable a must for different client requirements.

Pros

It was the simplest CRM system I have used compared to a long list of CRM systems used over the last 15 years, it is modern and I can use it on any device I like and web browser effectively. marketing functionality built into the CRM database beats those that need to use 3rd party applications like Mailchimp, everything thats needed is in one system that is evolving and improving over time

Cons

The data conversion and bringing in data was a challenge trying to get it to work, but the support team simply imported the data for me when it was required, data import/export functionality has been improved.

The support we have received has been excellent.

Pros

Easy to use for us a business to input and track leads with multiple users and to communicate with customers. The email campaign feature is excellent with lots of options to tailor it to your business. We have also had some 1-2-1 support calls to help with questions and the support is excellent. We probably only use 50% of the capacity.

Cons

There is not much regarding the software that needs improvement, the look and feel is ok but is slightly basic and could be more engaging.

We are tracking opportunities and following engagement. Unfortunately, I am still having to use an excel spread sheet because I can't quite get the CRM to duplicate the spread sheet but this is a lack of skill using the system on my part and not a take on the RSS system.

Pros

Its very easy to use, quite intuitive in set up and implementation.

Cons

\*After using other CRM software, the lack of ability to move opportunities between accounts when the main holder is no longer the main account. I don't think this is possible without some programming by RSS team. \*Having the freedom to manipulate the set up like in Salesforce, where an internal programmer will set up exactly what I require. Do RSS's team do this? \*The display dashboard could be better, to have the ability to adjust the widgets to show what I want instead of a standardised return.

We have found it invaluable that we have been able to transpose information previously held on our own systems or within our heads on to the CRM. with the information that we are now recording in one place and the subsequent reporting that this facilitates, we have been able to glean valuable insights into various areas of our business. It has also allowed us an overview of business performance

Pros

We have valued the ability to build our own accounts screen so that we are able to record and report on areas specifically relevant to our business. The reporting function has been game changing for us, providing new insights into our client base and referral activities. The software is so easy to use which has made embedding it into our operational practices an easy task. The ability to link accounts has proved very useful too.

Cons

We would value further fields on the accounts screen so that we can increase our use of the reporting function.

The Really Simple Systems CRM was recommended to us and so we decided to trial it. Development has taken place over the last 18 months and it is now central to the business operations arm of the business.
