I needed a CRM that I could customize for my specific requirements, where as other CRMs I tried, I had to try and fit my data in set fields and were not bespoke enough. With this CRM the only data fields I need to see are what I pre-difine, so not overloaded with blank fields which is great. Building the CRM so far has been very easy in creating the information I need, and I am looking forward to once all my data is populated to then look at the reporting and marketing areas.

Pros

Being able to customize the data fields to be what I need rather than me trying to fit my data in predefined data fields.

Cons

The quotes templates are a bit basic, would like more customization on layouts

Pros

It's easy enough to use for simple tasks and management. Customer service is very good and quick. Sending emails is extremely easy and hassle free.

Cons

The "build" elements for creating emails is limited, resulting in more basic emails.

Pros

The functionality allows me to keep track of the whole sales process and keep track of customers. Prospects can be added on to the system easily, with the marketing module they can be targeted with relevant sales info and quickly become new customers.

We initially started using the free version of Really Simple Systems. After making a full transition to the platform it's been an excellent lead management platform for us.

Cons

It took a little extra time for us to transition our prior contacts in to the system, however after we transitioned in everything was a breeze.

Pros

As the name of the software denotes, this is a simple system and a simple CRM. The home page of the CRM gives you everything you need at a glance, like your remaining tasks for the day, but you can still dive into the weeds with reports, contacts, etc with just a few clicks.

Cons

I feel like a solid CRM's homepage should be more simplified, yet, able to show you plenty of information. A pipeline showing your customers and prospect total would be a nice start.

Pros

I have a small company selling school trips so my database is large but I have only a small number of high-value sales a year. I needed a simple CRM, which would efficiently transfer data from Salesforce. I trialled about 10 CRM systems but only RSS could do this without me losing data. The system is simple and is easily navigable but what I like most about RSS is the rapid response from technical support. They custom-designed a few pages and re-worked others to suit my requirements often within a few hours of my request. No other CRM system I trialled, even came close to this service. I also like the ability to pick 'n mix services which means I only pay for exactly what I need.

Cons

Small point, really - Activity data which was transferred from Salesforce is displayed twice under Activities. This is annoying and has to be removed manually. I had to abandon email synchronisation - despite dedicated technical support, my Outlook emails would not drop into the RSS activity section. I do it manually now.

This software has helped our company to grow from a start-up business to a medium-sized business.

Pros

It's great to see everything you need to know about an account or contact at a glance. It's very helpful to have a task list that keeps your focused and on track. Our operations and sales teams enjoy using this software.

Cons

There are limitations to very specific customisation that you might want to achieve, e.g. we weren't able to use it to track the student progress our learners. But then, it's a CRM system - not a fully featured student information system.

It is allowing me to be far more organised with my sales and client account management activity. I am more confident of not missing sales opportunities and contacting clients at the right time to gain the business. Still getting to grips with it but the Webinars will be useful for ensuring I get the most from my licence.

Pros

Its straight forward and logically set out. For a simple system there is a fair amount of flexibility to change task titles, drop down menus, reports etc. to make the system work how you want it to.

Cons

I think the 500 account records is a bit restricting on the licence. 1000 would be better for small start up businesses. Its too big a jump to 5000 on the higher licence.

As a business, we were finding it really hard with our old CRM system to have visibility between the sales team/managers as to what was being sold. The new software makes it really easy for forecasting/showing wins etc.

Pros

Compared to our previous CRM system, the software has made life so much easier and more efficient when it comes to keeping on top of my sales workload.

Cons

Running the reports I want can be a little tricky.

Pros

Its very easy to use, flexible to personalise, perfect for small business!

Cons

Its restrictive to us because of the cost for extra data, and multi users, yes its really helpful but the cost structure, if you have multiple 1000's of customers and 6 user could be high. (we have 3 users, just over 1000 customer, with all the marketing and bespoke tools etc etc £121 ex vat Per month. (still worth it as its a great system, just wish I could add all my customers on to the CRM, all 6000 plus.)

Far better control of our sales pipeline, which became essential when we recruited our first sales person

Pros

It really is as easy to use as the name suggests. Works well for the small sales team we have. And I like the way you can start on a very low subscription rate

Cons

It's annoying whem the system times out without warning and you can lose your work. The interface feels a little "old" but really that's just nit picking.

Lives up to its name - simple to use, clear linkage between accounts/tasks/opportunities has all the functionality you need and allows you to create a wide variety of reports.

Cons

Lack of flexibility around dashboard and lack of integration with productivity tools such as Outlook. Very happy with other features/set-up.

We use RSS to manage our sales funnel, prospect nurture programme, marketing emails. It really is easy to use, but if something isn't obvious, there's great collateral to help you find what you need. Their support service is excellent - nothing is too much trouble, they are speedy and responsive. Love the annual user conference too.

Pros

Its intuitive, easy to use, excellent UI, their support is excellent, fast and responsive

Cons

Some limitations on automation, however, their development roadmap is impressive and they are constantly improving functionality.

Having taken a break from RSS CRM to a Corporate Microsoft Dynamics CRM, when I set up Vox Ignis Ltd we went straight for RSS again

Pros

simple, web based CRM so it can be accessed in McDonalds on the road, good to use and good reporting so I can get a snapshot of activity at any time.
