My office is streamlined, easy and it saved me lots of money from my previous system. Pros I love that you can create your own templates and customize it to your own needs. I also love the text message reminders. Missed or late appointments went down significantly. Cons Getting ahold of my reps has been hard at times. I have had a lot of different ones and I had two different large patient file transfers that took way too long because of communication. Review Source KG Karen G. June 23, 2015 5.0 As many of us can relate, the thought of switching out of an EHR system that I am currently unhappy with seems daunting. I wanted to stick with my dysfunctional EHR rather than taking even more time to move onto another EHR with no guarantee it would be better - but my search is over! Some cons to start off with: I would like a drop down menu as I go through my notes that is pre-built. Pros: after working with the Drchrono team, they re-created my notes exactly how I would like to save me time during my examinations, and really make my life so much easier. I do not have to spend my nights doing my charting - it is now completed during my exam with my patient!! Drchrono and their team have been amazing and they worked with my practice to set up the software on my schedule. Overall, I am VERY happy I switched over to drchrono. Review Source JC John C. The telemedicine wouldn't work and tech support kept making excuses. They refused to cancel the contract. Cons Doesn't work. Tech support couldn't resolve the issue but they continue to bill. " January 4, 2017 5.0 I've been using dr chrono for almost a full year in practice and so far so good. I love the ease of use that the cloud-based system. The training and Customer service are great and they are always reaching out to see how things are going. Pros The ease of use once everything is set up. The amount of reports that you can run to make sure you have a complete view of the health of the practice. Cons Time to set everything up. ( but it's worth the time you put into it) Check in kiosk needs to be a little smoother. Enjoy being able to access from any of my devices. Pros Scheduling, financial tracking all very easy to use. Chart notes for office visits fairly simple, although I don't use any of the templates provided Cons Navigation through a single patients records sometimes complicated--often easier to re-enter patient name and start over Photo management is not good. Everything is done through email, you cannot call them directly. If there are issues that you need to actually talk with someone about instead of just emailing you need to schedule a call with them and they will call you, again you cannot contact them, there are no phone numbers listed at all. It is very frustrating when you have an issue that you want resolved and you just want to pick up the phone and get it resolved but you cannot. June 19, 2017 5.0 Pros This EHR system is really easy to use. There are many customizable features within the templates that allow you to tailor it to your specific practice needs. Cons The reports feature should allow more customizable filters when generating reports. The amount of tabs open is sometimes excessive because each click opens the page in a new tab. Lots of features requires administrator permissions as well." July 7, 2017 4.0 I'd like to see more reports that shows clients drug preference and other features. Dr Chrono form details the clients medical information. We need more options to build reports. Pros It's easy to export reports into Excel. The software has lots of potential to meet our needs at our clinic, however, those features have not been built into Dr Chrono. November 3, 2016 5.0 DrChrono's platform is intuitive, widely functional, and, importantly, ever-evolving to best serve users. Support, both initially in familiarizing users "how to," as well as addressing ongoing questions or difficulties, is unparalleled from what I've experienced with other systems. When I've sought help, responses and resolution is swift. Pros Lab integration and the OnPatient Portal are two of my favorite features. Very pleased Pros Very user friendly, no elaborate interface. It is a very simple layout and design, and you are able to build it the way you choose. September 14, 2016 2.5 Pros I was initially attracted to the software for its advertised ability to be customized so much. I'm a fan of ipads and apple products, and was impressed that DrChrono was based around that. It really appeared we could do all of the things we wanted to with it, and it looked like we'd save some production time and save some money as a result of using the software. I liked the integration of billing and notes. Cons The software really has alot of potential. However, it did not seem right for a chiropractic office, unless I essentially customized it from the bottom up. I felt like I was rewriting the software. We felt the training was ok, but impatient trainers. There were several features that we could not use unless we upgraded to a more expensive version, and I felt that my version was expensive enough. The platform is able to be fully customized and everyone I have had the opportunity to work with has been prompt, polite and effective. I am very happy with my decision to use them as our EHR! The information is easy to access and is kept under tabs that allow for quick search and find. There are plenty of fields for yo unto be able to use quick and easy yet informative and in depth details. The EMR allows for easy tracking of patient progress and interactions. Cons I wish that with the reports being so customizable there was an option for Age. Age is really hard to find on any patient without being in the demographics or in the clinical note itself. Its able to integrate with a lot of other programs, that really streamlines the processes for our practice. Cons So far I don't any cons about the product. It is easy to use and navigate. Cons The schedule templates is quite confusing. I also wish it was compatible with our scanner. Chrono. I know their names and they know mine. Gail even checks in with me periodically just to see how in doing. I love it! Cons I'm very happy with all aspects of the service at this time. The staff are exceptionally nice, and support you through learning how to get on board with their EHR. I love the iPad features. Being able to take a picture and upload it directly in to my clinical notes has added a dimension to my documentation that I never thought would be possible. It has been so great to use the iPad while talking to my patients and it puts my patients at ease, as I am able to talk with them easily as I do my assessments. Their billing has been easy to use and has improved my practice tremendously. From start to finish, they are fantastic! Awesome product, with no issues so far. The iPad utility has made my charting life so much better! What I really love is their solid customer service. Any questions I have are answered immediately, and they are reaching out to me to ensure I understand the little things, instead of the other way around. I am extremely happy with this EHR solution!
