I would recommend this to others.

Pros

What we like most about Drchrono in our practice is the way that we can use Drchrono on our desktop as well as our iPads when seeing our patients in the patients rooms or out of town. We also enjoy that our Dr. Chrono system links up to Quest diagnostics so we can order labs through our computer and get results sent to us quickly through our messaging system.

Cons

Customer service is a con not because it is bad but because it is based online you must send a ticket or wait to speak to someone on the phone. I do not know if there is an alternative to this though.

I love this product and recommend it highly.

Pros

Easy to use but can be overwhelming if not for the amount of time spent using the program.

Cons

I own a small business so overhead costs hit my bottom line more than bigger companies. As good and indispensable as it is to my business I had to use the free version until it was no longer available. They have worked with me but it still is cost prohibitive.

Pros

I enjoy the I can customize almost every part of my soap notes and the billing is easy to use. I love that there is a native iPad app that my patients can sign my documents with.

Cons

I have no complaints with this service. I thought, at first, that I didn't understand it but the support was top notch and they got me fixed up quickly.

Private practices who are not owned by hospitals and need a good dependable EMR that is fully functional and affordable should give this a look. Wish we would have known about this one sooner. They also offer billing service for those who can't afford to pay a full time staff member with benefits. I am very pleased with the results we get from drchrono

Pros

This is very easy to learn and use compared to EPIC, Allscripts and others I have worked on in the past. The support is excellent when you need it and our account rep is top notch in her willingness to guide our practice and resolve any issues.

Cons

The payment posting needs a little tweaking, but I hear this is in process. When you apply an adjustment amount that is denied and you must write off, it should write it off instead of leaving it in the insurance balance due until you enter another adjustment line with a 45 reason code. I have made a suggestion and they are working on the change.

### "Not Quite What It Promises To Be"

If things don't change soon - we change the EMR.

Pros

The fact that it can be used on iPads, iPhones and mac computers. We like the fact that other software can incorporate into it.

Cons

Lacking major features that other vendors are already heavily using from Prior Auths to decent marketing and/or patient communication modules. Patient portal and scheduling are horrible. Support is beyond horrible.

### "hasnt kept up with advanced emr"

Pros

no customer support dispite repeated calls to emr contact no response they promise and dont deliver the only thing i like about this software is that its just like practice fusion i really dont have anything positive about this software i just wish i could get the phoenis emr instead

Cons

no customer support no ability to write adequate templates cannot use for orthopedic application with any ease i have had no support and the reps dont call back a bad decision to implement this software i am looking to replace but am tied in to contract

### "Big promises, little performance"

Within days of purchasing the system I realized I made a mistake. I attempted to resolve this issue and corporate referred back to the contract and essentially said 'too bad, you signed a contract' Keep in mind I never implemented the system and was in the training process when I discovered the gaps in service and the corporate policy of profits before service. My business fax number is now lost, so my patients and colleagues can't fax me, I now need to get a new fax number and change everything that had my fax number on it. I do not and will not use. Be very careful before you sign on the dotted line with this company.

Pros

Dr. Chrono has a nicely packaged sales promotion. They even speak of a free one month trial, but my free trial turned into a debt that I can't get out of.

Cons

Terrible service, little effort to do what is right for the physician. They botched my fax number and now I have to get a new one, creating a lot of stress and cost to my practice.

### "ARISE SAS review"

It works well with our team, we 100% developed all of our templates without help from Dr. Chrono team. We started in late 2013 and continue to develop and maximize our use of this system.

Pros

Portability for our Sexual Assault Nurse team is most important. We currently cover 20,000 square miles on Eastern NM and taking it to the pt. is most important.

Cons

We have been through MULTIPLE account managers, which is terrible for our continuity: Starting a work order and scheduling a meeting to assist us thru problems on a Friday to find out on Monday we have been assigned someone new, and having to start over with the whole process is extremely frustration and its delays pt. care at times. We recently had an issue with being able to Access our account and for greater than >5 days we were not able to get into the charting system. I had to insistently peruse getting help with this... meaning "ok we will have someone get back with you in the next 24 hours is not acceptable" I resorted to having all members where unable to sign in to start filling out workorders by the masses. Customer service were good to respond but still didn't fix problems for several days. And there was never any updated information shared as to why this problem was occurring.

Very few automated prompts. I would like a system to work for me not the other way around. it would be nice to prevent user errors with messages that pop-up such as "you forgot to input billing"

Pros

Very easy to use, works well on iPads, can facilitate use of multiple types of providers (MD, PT, OT, massage therapy, dietitian, etc.)

Cons

Unable to track visit counts, authorization numbers, difficulty with appointment scheduling. SEVERAL times the system has sent out incorrect appointment reminders due to the time zone being incorrect. Despite contacting customer support repeatedly, this took several weeks to change and has still happened several times. We have noticed several glitches in the system that I am unsure why they are not corrected for.

Pros

DrChrono combines my scheduling, EHR, and billing into one easy to use interface. It is cloud based so I can access patient records and billing from anywhere in the world. They are continuously adding features, like Stripe which allows you to save credit cards on file, or Physitrack, a web based exercise program, all of which help to improve the doctor's experience.

Cons

There have been a few minor flaws here and there but nothing to write home about. Any time I've had an issue, I let my account manager know and she takes care of it for me.

EMR Schedualing I like that it’s easy to enter patients in the system. - I like that you can enter your own template but I don’t like that you can make your own receipts as I am part of an insurance organization.

\- credits and balances needs a bit of work - overall end of day sheet including debit amount totals,mastercard totals and so on - more tutorials

### "Everything all in one place!"

Pros

We are a start up practice that has multiple specialties. We have Chiropractors and Nutritionists on staff and Dr. Chrono has been great keeping everything all in one place. We run many different labs and our office is as paper free as you can be in today's day and age. We love being able to scan previous labs and save them underneath different patient folders. We also love the customizability for appointment profiles and note templates. EHR's in general are going to be more slow than paperfiles for recording notes, but DrChrono makes it a lot faster.

Cons

The only negative thing I have to say about the program right now is the additional costs to add practitioners to the software.

I love the billing features. It makes it really simple to do my own billing and track it. The templates are easy to customize. It takes a bit to get it all set up, but once you do, it's very user friendly.

Cons

I have had trouble with EHR certification through Medicare. I think it's because I am a chiropractic office and not a MD office.

I have been implementing drchrono EHR for approximately 1 year now. As a non-tech person I was overwhelmed and felt that I could not use the program to it's potential. My practice is very client oriented and I was struggling to use drchrono EHR. Approximately 6 months to 12 months ago, I was introduced to the representative who assessed my office needs and it continued to be a slow learning process. Today I scheduled a Health Check meeting with rep and I certainly can attest that much progress has occurred with drchrono EHR in my practice. Reprentative made the process clear and fun. He generously directed us in taking drchono to the next level that was specific to the needs of my practice. I can say first hand that if I can see great progress in organizing my practice through drchono anyone can. Sincerely, One very satisfied doctor

DrChrono has been a great all in one solution for my office and as a sole practitioner it allows me to do everything from the schedule to intake paperwork to note taking to checkout from a single device.

Pros

I love the ability to take templates that other users have created and then edit off of those. Also like that square is integrated with it for payment.

Cons

I wish that they had an android app as well as the ios one. As it is easier to get multiple android tablets to use then spending the money on ipads.

We have enjoyed every bit of our transition to DrChrono from a server based EHR. They have been accommodating, thorough and incredibly kind as our team of 30 learns a whole new way. We are big fans of drchrono EHR and the whole drchrono team!

Cloud based; awesome support team and thorough onboarding; comprehensive reporting; intuitive interface; fast workflow for intake and documentation; comprehensive revenue cycle management; credentialing support for new MD's

Cons

Still some visibility challenges in the schedule that could be improved; simplified navigation to patient ledgers would help workflow; would like the ability to integrate docusign type elements

Pros

DrChrono has freed up time for me to treat more patients in my clinic and get some of my free time back.

Cons

Wish scheduling software had more features like Genbook scheduling software and onpatient portal was a little more user friendly. I have had some patients have difficulty setting it up and paying online through the onpatient portal. Sometimes when patients call about an invoice they have received they do not speak with someone very knowledgeable and somewhat of a language barrier.

Pros

DrChrono is by far the easiest EHR that I have ever used. I've worked in emergency medical, surgery, industrial, aesthetics and primary care. By far this EHR is the easiest to use and customize.

Cons

Unable to set time in which the EHR is accessible by non provider staff. Would be great be able to set times in which I could set ancillary staff could use the EHR. Being that one could down load the app to the mobile device. Unable to set security settings that would prevent staff from accessing the EHR via their mobile device does patients personal information at risk.

This is a great starting EHR because they offer the free option to start so you are able to work with it for awhile before committing to a payed version.

Cons

The customer service is good but not great, several times I have had questions or needed help with an issue and it has taken upwards of a week to get things solved sometimes unresolved. When they do updates they don't give new tutorials telling how things have changed and how to utilize the new additions.

Overall it is a great emr and RCM for small practices and small plastic surgery practices with a facility. Customer support and correcting issues needs to improve, however.

Pros

It’s very user friendly and the notes are easy to template. It is also a very intuitive system that is based upon Apple platforms. It is also user friendly for the staff to enter patient information and schedule appointments. It works for the physician on an iPad or iPhone wising an application.

Cons

The biggest downfall of the system is there lack of phone support and it can take several days or weeks to resolve an issue. With the new update, we still can’t send facility UB-04’s and the support team has not kept us in the loop on when it might be fixed since their new update. This is a definite flaw in their support.

I started with Dr Chrono when they first came out in 2012. They have grown and in last 4 years have really become adept at making everything they do more efficient

Pros

Streamlined, integrated and easy to use all on the iPad Online scheduling, patient portal, e-fax, integrated billing

Cons

Eligibility and live status on copay and deductible have not panned out yet, I’m hoping this comes along as patients are still getting surprises that there is technology available to avoid

I've tried many EHR's and Dr. Chrono is the best of the best!

Pros

Easy to use and customize. Very functional features that help make my daily life in the office much easier. I love the text reminders, patient flag feature, ease of uploading files to a patients chart and faxing documents.

Cons

Not able to save a HCFA form directly to a patients chart without having to download it and add it manually. I really have no complaints about this EHR.
