The most telling piece of evidence I can offer about Trakstar's performance and user-friendliness is the lack of questions and problems that our supervisors and managers experience. I can easily train a new manager to use the system, and those that have used it before rarely have a question or concern. When we began our relationship with Trakstar, Julie Reiken was an integral part of our conversion process. I've had very few questions for the customer support team over the past few years because of the ease of use of Trakstar, but Julie has always made herself available and has been able to assist me with anything that comes up. She is a joy to work with, and we could not be happier with Trakstar!

Users seem to find it the tool easy to navigate. training has been good since the purchase of the tool. , Rene, the account Rep has been very helpful to date. It would be great if the tool could include performance management - e.g. template for verbal performance guidance, written warnings, etc. to help track for HR history

We recently started using Trakstar for our employee performance appraisals! It is very user friendly and we have received great feedback so far. Employees and supervisors are tracking their performance throughout the entire year. That is helpful when it comes to evaluations at the end of the year. So long for paper performance evaluations!

Trakstar has continued to be a tool of 'high value' to our organisation. We rolled it out across the entire organisation and we continue to increase its use and acceptance in a very 'noisy' software environment. The team at Trakstar have been consistent with their support, enthusiasm and contact and we are not able to fault the relationship and service. The system itself is flexible and the Trakstar team work hard to understand our needs and provide solutions to support them. If you have any doubt that Trakstar is a good system - our advice is to go ahead and make the move. Our guess is you won't look back!

I would recommend TrakStar as a high-quality performance management system.

Pros

TrakStar provides an easy-to-use platform with all of the features you need to create a true performance management system. Information is easily stored and passed between the various pieces of the system, from year-round performance notes, to easily update-able work plans, and a robust 360-degree performance appraisal process. For organizations who are trying to increase their goal alignment, TrakStar provides the functionality to allow you to do that from the top of your organization down to the lowest levels. It also is incredibly customizable.

Cons

Since the Promantek folks are always improving their product, we haven't had any "cons" that haven't been overcome with the next update of the system.

### "Trakstar...to the Rescue!"

I love the capability to add both public and private notes to accounts along with document uploads. Rather than wait until the end of the review period to think back over an entire year, our employees can add information all year long. This makes year-end review meetings run smoothly and efficiently taking less time due to all of the preparation.

Pros

Trackstar is HR based, meaning was created by folks with deep HR experience, vs a tech or software company that now sells their own solution. And it shows. We are just starting and thrilled with the detail and ease of use

I would highly recommend this system.

Pros

The automation of our performance appraisal process allowed us to easily demonstrate compliance with our Joint Commission accreditation requirment that we strictly follow our policy of doing appraisals annually. We were easily able to load our job descriptions into the evaluation tool. The system allows self appraisal and has auto e-mail reminders at intervals for director and employees. Added benefits: Excellent customer support Great reporting capabilities It also has an enhancement to build on the appraisal of past performance and develop a plan for growth and improvement during the next year.

I have thought for several hours about what to enter in the Cons field and can.t think of anything.

I love the ability to personalize the "factors" and the ease at which you can maneuver in the software program. As with any program, there's the program and then there's the human side that needs to be consistent with using what the program offers. So the program does deliver and it's up to the user to use the product for it's intended purpose and to it's fullest potential!

Competency based listing and goal setting options are nice. Users find it easy to move through the system.

Cons

Organizational chart is not user friendly for our size organization (90 employees). The system could benefit from offering additional reports or slicing options.

Mostly pros - User-friendly, intuitive, fast and easy to modify. Love the feature that it saves the data automatically and you can always go back and retrieve any of the abandoned content. Not to mention EXCELLENT customer service. They really feel like partners, not vendors. The biggest con is from administrator perspective that it does not provide he data in "ready-to-use" format. Ability to use side by side appraisal scores for several years will make life so much easier

The Trakstar system is an overall great performance management tool for single and multi-rater reviews. It is flexible based on the need and we were able to set up a somewhat complex group with the support of the customer service manager assigned to our account. The customer service is top notch, fast, reliable, and efficient. They guide you in the right direction, and will offer specific responses to questions which is appreciated when dealing with VIP level reviewers. I would recommend this product to an organization that wants to utilize web-based systems for tracking performance, goals, and with notifications to stay on track in a timely manager. It is flexible and effective depending on your needs. For a general all-staff evaluation process, it is a fairly straight forward set-up and if you don't have the time, they will do most of it for you at minimal cost. Once the system is set up, it is user-friendly.

A little tough to set up in the beginning. When it was set up it worked fantastically. I shared with Matt that it immediately saved the company money by making it possible to shine a light on specifically hard to work with employees.. By doing both a self appraisal and a multi-rater appraisal, the employee(s) realized they needed to change their behaviors or leave. What's even better is we have all of this archived and now have set the bar in the company toward better teamwork. Next reviews will be much simpler.

Before implementing Trakstar in your organization you have to have a clear view of the way you want your appraisal cycle facilitated. There are so many possibilities with pros and cons and after implementing Trakstar it is not good for the employees if you make changes during the appraisal cycle. We have the luck in The Netherlands that a Dutch re-selller of the product helps us implementing the software, helps us with making choices and is able to answer all our questions. For the employees the software is easy to use and although we just started this year with Trakstar people are enthousiastic!

Implementing Trakstar has given us a framework to follow, and perhaps more importantly, has helped us greatly clarify expectations of our team members. The team knows more than ever what is expected of them and how to measure their progress and contributions. I have been using and training our employees on TrakStar. We have 60 employees in one of our many branches.

Pros

I like the easy navigation in TrakStar. I think everything is pretty self explanatory. I like that managers can ask for feedback from other employees, as we are using that function a lot at my current work.

Cons

I don't like that you can't carry over only some specifics goal. When there is an option for managers -would you like to carry over the goals to next appraisal... What if I would like to carry over only one of my 3 or 4 goals?

After a brief introduction alle employees were able to work with Trakstar. It is great that during the year comments can be made by both employee and manager. This makes the final appraisal much easier. The fact that we can archive each appraisal in the system works great for us, we have less paper appraisals and this makes is easier to check former appraisals. The reminder emails help both employee and manager to use Trakstar and make sure that appraisals will be finished in time. For our company Trakstar is a very good solution.

As a staffing agency, our employee's job duties are not traditional. Trakstar gave me the freedom to create a performance evaluations with our specific duties and responsibilities. I have yet to find something that is not customizable. Even with the full customization, the system is easy to use. Trakstar did a great job getting me starting and walking me through the entire process. Trakstar even gives you the option to have your manager and employee training recorded for future additions to your team. This will save me time and allow the employee flexibility. Our employees are excited about the new system and the ease of us. This system will take our evaluation process to the next level!
