Our process before Trakstar was strictly a manual process that wasn't as meaningful a process as we wanted. Trakstar helped get us set up and on line very quickly. This allowed us to get our employees more engaged in the review and goal setting process and streamlined the details. Pros Lets us easily track employees, set goals and watch those employees achieve those goals. It also allows us to push our employees to their full potential and increase the throughput of work in the company without having to track miles of paperwork for a few employees. The ease and flexibility of making changes as we deem necessary to improve our employees to exceed the expectations or our customers and the technical support at Trakstar. We are a business that wants the best employees because our customers demand "Simply the Best." Therefore, we use the 360 degree to achieve the level of "Simply the Best." The technical support is an "Exceed." We never have to wait more than 24 hours for a solution to our challenge. The technical support operates as if they are a part of our organization. I've been working for over 24 years in business in the field of HR and can say that Trakstar customer service ranks as one of the best I have ever experienced! Their employees are engaged, patient, and thorough. I like how they go the extra mile to ensure that the user is set up with confidence to run as administrator on their own. I've called twice this week and got an immediate call back and didn't feel like I was being a bother at all. It's great as we are a growing startup that takes reviews seriously. September 1, 2010 5.0 Before purchasing TrakStar, we looked at all the competitors. As a growing organinzation, the product met all of our needs and then some. Pros Great value. Incredibly intuitive and user-friendly! Administration is a breeze. Product support has been excellent (staff is patient, responsive, friendly, very knowledable and customer focused). Quick to figure out as an end user from the employee side. Cons The format seems a bit limited in how you can set up the reviews for your company and if you have to reopen for an employee it can erase all their data they've entered. It is very user friendly and training our new staff on using the software has been painless. With everyone's busy schedule I find e-mail contact to be the best method of communication. I send screen shots of my issue and the response back is to advise me of the specific steps to take as well as provide me with screen shots of those steps. When we are in the middle of the performance evaluation period, being able to get the answers and handle them on 'my schedule' is very beneficial. I received a very quick response with a thorough, informative answer. With so many sites, it takes days before you get a reply (if at all), but this is not the case with Trakstar. I've contacted them in the past and have always received a speedy followup. No automated emails either; it's obvious that the emails come from live reps. Therefore, it is a great fit for a wide variety of industries. Cons Reporting needs some improvement. This is one area which it lacks in. Other than reporting I feel it is a great software. We just started with them and from sales with Charlie Anderson to training with Tyler DeHart-Krahn and now to general support as we have started using the system, everything has been easy. smooth and very professional. Pros It is very easy to use. Very user friendly. Cons So far, so good. I do think we should be able to print just a summary of one's evaluation instead of 15+pages, but that's my only complaint so far. Operations Used the software for: ### "Delightfully responsive~" July 8, 2015 4.0 I got a note from out of nowhere because I received an error message while trying to update an employee's management reporting relationship. In a day when companies promise to monitor email in boxes and web suggestion boxes and never do, this was a pleasant surprise and a stark contrast to another online vendor our company uses for expense reports where I emailed the CEO directly with specific suggestions for his product and to this day haven't received an answer! We wanted an online solution that would be easy for our managers and supervisors to use. Trakstar has met all of our initial requirements and exceeded our expectations. The system if very user-friendly, and the staff has been very helpful and supportive throughout this process. Whether you are a small organization with less than 100 employees or a large corporation, Trakstar is a great solution. I've recommended them to other electric cooperatives in the state.
