### "Secretaries Midex Review"

Having previously used DGL, Meditech, Meditex (fertility), Semble along with a range of other systems, this is the best overall system I have used and offers the least downtime. The support team are fantastic, slightly ill advised in sports but are very skilled in the workplace.

Pros

Simple interface that covers all needs. Very few issues but even so, a direct line to the support team so rare downtime.

Cons

No issues come to mind at the moment. Genuinely any issues are resolved in real time. If I was to offer a suggestion, folders in the documents section can be useful to arrange documents.

Fantastic experience - would be even better to specialise the package for allied health (psychologists, OT, physios etc) professionals

Pros

It covers all the needs for a healthcare SME, and the support is outstanding - there is always a (very pleasant and helpful) human ready to take a call and help

Cons

Would appreciate the package focussing also on other professions specifically eg facilities to add psychometric questionnaires and online completion and scoring; giving patients access to own records etc

### "Easy to use"

It's been great. It was a bit aggravating during the changeover that some things about the way the system works were not made clearer, as I fully utilise the system and personalise it. Meant that I had to redo a lot of things but now it's up and running it's not a problem.

Pros

Very easy to use and has lots of easy to use features once you get up and running. Love the bulk payments section.

Cons

When typing, if caps lock on, it doesn't switch round as in word to make initial cap with lower case following. Can't duplicate a GP etc from another so you have to fill in a complete new dataset each time - really annoying. No self completing drop downs for addresses etc

I have found MidexPRO to be extremely easy to use, makes my working day more efficient. Consultants are happier as they can access their database wherever they are (working in the NHS, abroad etc). The staff are very helpful and friendly, and will respond to any query in a timely fashion.

It is quick, efficient and easy to use. The staff are friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable

Cons

There is nothing not to like. I wish I had found MidexPRO sooner!

Very positive. The support is generally immediate which is so valuable.

Pros

Speed and ease of use. Accessibility and support.

Cons

The encryption. This is a niche concern probably only relating to letters sent to GPs - they don't like it. A lot of surgeries are advised not to click on a link.

### "Midex Pro review"

Excellent service, someone is always on the telephone when you need help, they are helpful and everything I have needed has always been sorted out for me.

Pros

The system is easy to use to find patients and add documents etc. We had a new member of staff start last week and she has said how easy it is to use.

Cons

The diary is difficult due to us having so many diaries and this means that double bookings can happen if lots of people try to book. I think it needs a little looking at to make it smoother for people who see patients in various locations. We have up to 4 hospitals with theatre bookings and clinic bookings. No 2 weeks are ever the same so this does make it a little complicated. Hopefully this can be looked at and made simpler somehow

Reason for choosing MidexPRO

I looked at many companies whose names I cannot remember. MidexPRO were able to offer us what we needed and we were recommended them from another clinic. I spoke to the clinic involved and they have been with them years and were very happy.

DGL we have been with for 20 years but the system was just a little old and did not offer all the products needed. We tried Medesk but were only with them 3 months as they were not at all suitable for our needs.

Thank you Olivia for leaving us a review. I am really pleased you think the system is great and User friendly. Unfortunately, it isn't possible to send multiple emails with multiple documents/invoices to patients. The main reason is we would need to add multiple encryption tools to each patient via a BCC option. Where we undertake the most stringent actions against any potential risk to accessing data, I feel that this would open the door slightly to risks that would simply be too much to control and would cause a larger strain on the system itself, risking slowness along with the potential GDPR concern. From a functional point of view, I understand that this would save you time and we ensure other elements counter time verses action, but in this case, I feel the risk is high and therefore, wouldn't be able to investigate this as a change to the system. I don't think I have enough words to describe my overall experience. The team have been amazing, \[sensitive content hidden\] in particular. He helped me set up the account and was very patient with me throughout the process. I admit I wasn't the easiest to communicate with but \[sensitive content hidden\] followed through! Pros

Well.. MidexPro is very straight forward and easy to use! Once you figure out how to use the system, I promise you, you will stick to it. The part that sold it for me is the team behind MidexPro. They are professional, easy to communicate and contact, efficient, friendly and so much more!

Cons

The log in time out :( its a great security to have in place but for me personally, I wish there was an option to remove the automatic log out system.

### "Southampton Anaesthetic Service LLP Review"

We had many problems initially setting up MiDex as we are a fairly 'unique' business set up. MiDex worked very patiently with us whilst this was being set up and was a big learning curve for us and MiDex.

Pros

MiDex is a very easy system to use and is far better than our old system DGL. The layout is great and easy to follow and offers a great range of reports that can be adapted to our needs. The Support Desk answer queries quickly.

Cons

Debt chasing is not so clear on MiDex. I know we can run reports off for outstanding invoices, however, it would be great in there was a feature that highlights daily which invoices need to be chased. Once chased the invoice 'drops off' for a period of time and will appear back after eg 8 weeks if still outstanding.

The main reason why we switched is because MiDex links in with Xero - our accountancy platform - so we are already ready for Making Tax Digital.

### "My Review"

We are currently using this with one surgical practice of 3 consultants. I like the product a lot - in fact I recommended it to the lead consultant in the first place as I had heard good reviews about it and I knew the support from MXP would be very good. I will be recommending it to some of my other consultants in the future - but I really do think it would be an advantage for MXP to set up our templates themselves (even if we have to pay extra for this) because this I have found very stressful and time-consuming. This is my only criticism about the software - but for me, it's important.

Pros

Booking the patients and seeing what is happening with them is all absolutely great. However, the major bonus is the Phone and Remote Support from the MXP Team. That is superb - better than all of the other similar companies.

Cons

I think setting up the personalised templates is extremely difficult, time-consuming and stressful. I'd like it to have been done for me so that the product is "oven ready". I still would like it done for me. I'm too busy to faff! I believe that PPM do that - MXP should really think about doing that, too.

Reason for choosing MidexPRO

I really didn't like Heydoc - and I resigned from a Practice I had run for more than 9 years because that consultant selected Heydoc against my wishes. Carebit I think may still be a prospect for one of my other consultants - which is his choice. I have a medical secretarial business and I want to have a product which is identified with me and which I identify with and one which my consultants all use. MXP may just be that - as long as you can sort out my templates for me!

We do offer walkthroughs of all the features within MidexPRO and also offer refresher training sessions to help with any of the features or tools that are difficult to use. Could not be without Midex - I am lost if there is ever a hiccup in provision/services, which is extremely rare and very quickly rectified by the support team

Pros

I have used Midex for many years, recommended it to other consultants and secretaries, and have been able to run a practice that held up to 16 consultants at one point with several secretaries. The flexibility and adaptability of the Midexpro system is key

Cons

That I do not have enough time in my day free to explore the new services that they introduce to Midexpro - I am sure there is more functionality within Midex that I am yet to have time to utilise

Reason for choosing MidexPRO

At the time ease of use and price, along with the direct support link - being able to talk in person with the Midex team whenever I need

### "Moving from a system I used for 20-years"

Having used another system for 20-years that was failing me miserable I was apprehensive about moving. The team at MidexPRO were able to get me up and running very quickly and even when there were issues with the data supplied by my previous software company they were able to resolve them very quickly. The system is excellent and does almost everything I need from practice management software. So many useful things that make life easier, such as postcode lookup, print queueing (sounds minor, but really useful), secure emailing etc - really happy with the new system.

Pros

I love the fact I can access my records from any internet connected system I use through a simple browser without complicated and unecessary authentication. The system is secure, fast and responsive. The support team are excellent and were able to help with my multiple queries after moving from a system I have used for 20-years

Cons

I would like to able to customise the interfdace myself as there are obviously bits that are not relevant to my practice. This is aminor thing and the ability to add and remove fields on the interface would be the icing on the cake

Great overall user experience, it does everything I want it to, and working for several different consultants I have looked at/trialled/uses several other systems on the market at the moment and Midex is in my opinion by far superior, both for ease and efficiency and support is excellent.

Pros

Midex is an excellent comprehensive, user-friendly system. Does absolutely everything you want it to, from billing, letters, recalls, diaries, reporting etc. Everything is quick and easy to use. When I changed to Midex several years ago it completely streamlined my working practices and made life so much simpler.

Cons

I haven't found anything that its lacking

I'm impressed by the way the software is being regularly updated and user comments are acted on to keep it up-to -date and easy to use. It's good to see other services being offered in partnership with MidexPro, to provide easier invoicing/patient payments etc. and that they are continually looking for ways to improve their service to make our work easier! The level of service provided by the support team is consistantly excellent. Any queries are replied to very quickly and efficiently. The consultants I work with also find the software easy to use and reliable. I would definitely recommend MidexPro.

Cons

The software occasionally runs a bit slow, but this has definitely improved over the last year.

We have had years of dependable, expanding and modernising, secure and obliging service from Midex-Pro and look forward to many more.

Pros

The system is clear and easy to use. All the details about a specific patient can be access for one page and the information is clearly displayed. Reports of practice usage such as income or out standing invoices are easily accessed, clearly presented and useful for tax returns

Cons

I am so used to the software that I do not really have any issues with it at all.

Reason for choosing MidexPRO

We bought Midex-Pro in about 2007. At the time it seemed to meet all our requirements and over the years it has expanded and kept up to date with the increasing need and uses in the modern world to the extent that we have not looked else where.

Pros

Easy to use and get used to if you are switching from another system, cloud based so you can access from anywhere in the world, best customer support team, they answer immediately and listen to your needs and are grateful for your feedback then apply changes asap, overall score 9/10

Cons

not enough automatizations and a patient journey is not visible at a glance ie where the patient is on their journey with us at this particular moment, could be ie a dot on a linear map ie booked in or paid or surgery completed

The diary - love being able to leave admin and info for consultants to see The fact that the consultants can access the system - and amend their letters!

Cons

setting up the templates - luckily a friend was able to help.

Pros

It is very user friendly and straight forward to navigate. Customer Service is excellent. There is always someone at the end of the phone/email even with the smallest query.

Cons

Slow to load sometimes but I think that is to do with my internet supply!

### "A Really Great Practice Management System"

I've been using Midexpro for 21 years and also use other systems. Over the years it has evolved with the market place and the cloud based system is the best I've used. The Management team encourage suggestions from users and genuinely want to make their system the best. There's always something new to learn, and a new function to explore.

Pros

All Features are easy to use. Encryption emails easy for patients to access. No unnecessarily complications with any of the features. New functions added regularly as my job evolves to keep pace with developments i.e. tasks, integrated credit card facilities, voice recognition integration.

Cons

I have no dislikes with this system at all.

### "A robust and scalable Practice Management system"

Pros

Midex is a very robust platform, that has the benefit of years' worth of feedback and improvements. We use it to manage the diaries and patient records of 27+ clinics, and it is an invaluable and integral part of our working practice. The Support team are second to none.

Cons

There are a number of smaller features we feel could be added or modified to improve usability, but the Midex team are always open to suggestions and - where possible - incorporating these into their development roadmap.
