“The only issue I have is with spell check in the emailing section but have found that you can check spellings but it is not an automatic feature, you need to click a button to check your spelling and from memory it is an American dictionary.“

I have been very happy with Midexpro having used this for many years and having used other various software I find Midexpro is ideally suited for the requirements of a medical practice.

Pros

I find Midexpro very easy to use and is quite intuitive

Cons

Not sure I can answer this, there are probably some small things, but nothing too large as if there is I contact you and you usually sort it out.

### "Midex Pro review"

Excellent service, someone is always on the telephone when you need help, they are helpful and everything I have needed has always been sorted out for me.

Pros

The system is easy to use to find patients and add documents etc. We had a new member of staff start last week and she has said how easy it is to use.

Cons

The diary is difficult due to us having so many diaries and this means that double bookings can happen if lots of people try to book. I think it needs a little looking at to make it smoother for people who see patients in various locations. We have up to 4 hospitals with theatre bookings and clinic bookings. No 2 weeks are ever the same so this does make it a little complicated. Hopefully this can be looked at and made simpler somehow

Reason for choosing MidexPRO

I looked at many companies whose names I cannot remember. MidexPRO were able to offer us what we needed and we were recommended them from another clinic. I spoke to the clinic involved and they have been with them years and were very happy.

DGL we have been with for 20 years but the system was just a little old and did not offer all the products needed. We tried Medesk but were only with them 3 months as they were not at all suitable for our needs.

Pros

The level of support from the team, they are fantastic. \[sensitive content hidden\] has helped me so much and no question is ever too much for him. He has helped me right from the start and no question is ever considered silly!

Cons

When typing a letter, I cannot add in another clinician whilst typing, I have to physically type in the addresses for any add ons.

I left Spire Healthcare to become self-employed. Spire use DGL for their practices and I thought it was awful and so old fashioned. The support team were next to no help either.

We have used Midex Pro for several years and have always found it very user friendly.

Thank you Olivia for leaving us a review. I am really pleased you think the system is great and User friendly. Unfortunately, it isn't possible to send multiple emails with multiple documents/invoices to patients. The main reason is we would need to add multiple encryption tools to each patient via a BCC option. Where we undertake the most stringent actions against any potential risk to accessing data, I feel that this would open the door slightly to risks that would simply be too much to control and would cause a larger strain on the system itself, risking slowness along with the potential GDPR concern. From a functional point of view, I understand that this would save you time and we ensure other elements counter time verses action, but in this case, I feel the risk is high and therefore, wouldn't be able to investigate this as a change to the system. I don't think I have enough words to describe my overall experience. The team have been amazing, \[sensitive content hidden\] in particular. He helped me set up the account and was very patient with me throughout the process. I admit I wasn't the easiest to communicate with but \[sensitive content hidden\] followed through! Thank you soo much for all your help \[sensitive content hidden\] :D

Pros

Well.. MidexPro is very straight forward and easy to use! Once you figure out how to use the system, I promise you, you will stick to it. The part that sold it for me is the team behind MidexPro. They are professional, easy to communicate and contact, efficient, friendly and so much more!

Cons

The log in time out :( its a great security to have in place but for me personally, I wish there was an option to remove the automatic log out system.

### "Southampton Anaesthetic Service LLP Review"

We had many problems initially setting up MiDex as we are a fairly 'unique' business set up. MiDex worked very patiently with us whilst this was being set up and was a big learning curve for us and MiDex.

Pros

MiDex is a very easy system to use and is far better than our old system DGL. The layout is great and easy to follow and offers a great range of reports that can be adapted to our needs. The Support Desk answer queries quickly.

Cons

Debt chasing is not so clear on MiDex. I know we can run reports off for outstanding invoices, however, it would be great in there was a feature that highlights daily which invoices need to be chased. Once chased the invoice 'drops off' for a period of time and will appear back after eg 8 weeks if still outstanding.

The main reason why we switched is because MiDex links in with Xero - our accountancy platform - so we are already ready for Making Tax Digital.

### "Midexpro"

Excellent overall experience and couldn’t run my dermatology practice efficiently without them. Highly recommend.

Pros

The layout and intuitive use is fantastic. It’s easy to use and the new midexTask feature helps organise patient administration such as checking results. We can take online payments easily. Having used more traditional systems in the past this is fantastic in comparison and they are constantly adding new helpful features and always answer the support telephone!

Cons

We had to have an additional account so myself and my secretary could access at the same time.

DGL was not easily portable between hospitals and had poor customer service as well as being very expensive. Additional charges of thousands of pounds were requested to retain my own patients data when the private hospital that held the contract shut down.

excellent overall experience...would highly recommend.

Pros

the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable - the system is modern, and fast to use...the staff are extremely responsive, and response times are excellent - they listen to their clients and implement change where possible.

Cons

would like to be able to have multiple consultants to be added to patients file. also would like that you can change the main screen in coloured fonts to make the screen pop for important information. ....happy to discuss.

### "Secretaries Midex Review"

Having previously used DGL, Meditech, Meditex (fertility), Semble along with a range of other systems, this is the best overall system I have used and offers the least downtime. The support team are fantastic, slightly ill advised in sports but are very skilled in the workplace.

Pros

Simple interface that covers all needs. Very few issues but even so, a direct line to the support team so rare downtime.

Cons

No issues come to mind at the moment. Genuinely any issues are resolved in real time. If I was to offer a suggestion, folders in the documents section can be useful to arrange documents.

### "Midex review as a medical PA"

Learning a new system, being used to NHS hospital systems, this is very user friendly, easy to navigate around and I love the fact you can email patient letters straight from their record.

Pros

Having no formal training, just verbal help by a colleague, I found Midexpro easy to navigate around. I have only been using for six months so still getting used to what else I will need to do with it as it's a new role.

Cons

Nothing yet! As a new role, I am still learning the package. But so far, nothing is frustrating or hard to work out. I now have own licence, so without having to keep logging off my colleague who works on it in the hospital (I work from home), it is better practice for us both for our Consultant.

### "I couldn't recommend Midex highly enough. "

Pros

Each patient has a profile which contains all their information in one file from contact details, communications, medical information, to billing. For the Consultant, the diary is invaluable enabling him to carry out a clinic smoothly and easily accessing patient details at the click of a button rather than endless typing ensuring that he can focus on the patient. All the information is quickly and easily available. For the admin team, it is secure remote access enabling smooth practice and patient management. Although we already had Midex before the COVID pandemic, it enabled us to continue a seamless service for our patients.

Cons

There is only one feature that we would change regarding record keeping and the software team are already looking into how that can be improved.

### "Ease of use"

The team are all so helpful and bend over backwards to help fix any problem you have. I am very comfortable using this system and am constantly finding new features that make my work day easier. Thanks Team.

Pros

The software streamlines administrative tasks for professionals, enhancing efficiency. It excels in appointment booking, billing and patient records. It is very easy to navigate. It cuts invoicing time down, you are able to submit invoices from just 1 platform rather that 5+. I have recently moved from paper diaries to midex diary which again has made life easier. It is a great system and I wouldn't chose to go over to anyone else as I feel majority of needs are met and if they are not met then the team are open to any suggestions to add to midex to improve it.

Cons

### "Moving from a system I used for 20-years"

Having used another system for 20-years that was failing me miserable I was apprehensive about moving. The team at MidexPRO were able to get me up and running very quickly and even when there were issues with the data supplied by my previous software company they were able to resolve them very quickly. The system is excellent and does almost everything I need from practice management software. So many useful things that make life easier, such as postcode lookup, print queueing (sounds minor, but really useful), secure emailing etc - really happy with the new system.

Pros

I love the fact I can access my records from any internet connected system I use through a simple browser without complicated and unecessary authentication. The system is secure, fast and responsive. The support team are excellent and were able to help with my multiple queries after moving from a system I have used for 20-years

Cons

I would like to able to customise the interfdace myself as there are obviously bits that are not relevant to my practice. This is aminor thing and the ability to add and remove fields on the interface would be the icing on the cake

Pros

MidexPro is an intuitive patient management system that is easy to use and easy to train others to use. The team at MidexPro are knowledgeable and flexible, taking into account the growing needs of our company and adapting the product where possible to better fit our needs.

Cons

It can sometimes be difficult to produce bespoke reports .

Great overall user experience, it does everything I want it to, and working for several different consultants I have looked at/trialled/uses several other systems on the market at the moment and Midex is in my opinion by far superior, both for ease and efficiency and support is excellent.

Pros

Midex is an excellent comprehensive, user-friendly system. Does absolutely everything you want it to, from billing, letters, recalls, diaries, reporting etc. Everything is quick and easy to use. When I changed to Midex several years ago it completely streamlined my working practices and made life so much simpler.

Cons

I haven't found anything that its lacking

Easy to use!.. MidexPro provides me with everything I need to carry out my work as quickly and efficiently as possible and offer a reliable and friendly support service to help with any queries.

Pros

MidexPro is the most user-friendly software I use. It is clear and easy to navigate. I'm impressed by the way the software is being regularly updated and user comments are acted on to keep it up-to -date and easy to use. It's good to see other services being offered in partnership with MidexPro, to provide easier invoicing/patient payments etc. and that they are continually looking for ways to improve their service to make our work easier! The level of service provided by the support team is consistantly excellent. Any queries are replied to very quickly and efficiently. The consultants I work with also find the software easy to use and reliable. I would definitely recommend MidexPro.

Cons

The software occasionally runs a bit slow, but this has definitely improved over the last year.

We have had years of dependable, expanding and modernising, secure and obliging service from Midex-Pro and look forward to many more.

Pros

The system is clear and easy to use. All the details about a specific patient can be access for one page and the information is clearly displayed. Reports of practice usage such as income or out standing invoices are easily accessed, clearly presented and useful for tax returns

Cons

I am so used to the software that I do not really have any issues with it at all.

Reason for choosing MidexPRO

We bought Midex-Pro in about 2007. At the time it seemed to meet all our requirements and over the years it has expanded and kept up to date with the increasing need and uses in the modern world to the extent that we have not looked else where.

### "User friendly with the best customer support team ever!"

Pros

Easy to use and get used to if you are switching from another system, cloud based so you can access from anywhere in the world, best customer support team, they answer immediately and listen to your needs and are grateful for your feedback then apply changes asap, overall score 9/10

Cons

not enough automatizations and a patient journey is not visible at a glance ie where the patient is on their journey with us at this particular moment, could be ie a dot on a linear map ie booked in or paid or surgery completed

Very good, I have no complaints whatsoever.

Pros

Package is easy to use and reliable. With fantastic support from the MidexPro team, who are always on hand to help, very courteous and patient, makes working day less stressful. The MidexPro package has everything in one and contributes to an efficient work output.

Cons

I have had time issues adding a card payment facility to our package. This issue has arisen from the supplier MidexPro use, it is not a MidexPro issue.

### "Midex support amazing"

I love using Midex. It does what is says on the tin and they are always updating things to keep in line with the current market. I have to say though, the support team are one of the best I have ever dealt with. Always available to help you, provide alternatives if necessary and their technical knowledge is fantastic. Nothing is ever too much for them and they will always follow up calls or emails.

Pros

This is an easy to use product and does everything you need it to, well everything I need it to. If there has ever been a feature that I would be interested in, I just ask the support team and if they do not already have it they would go away and come back to you with a plan or a way to support what you need.

Cons

When it goes down you cannot do anything but this is the same all software I would imagine. The support team always keep you updated

Hopefully, you haven't had any off-line issues for a while. We had a Microsoft update back in January which took us offline for 12minutes before Users were able to use MidexPRO again. These do happen and are annoying but hopefully didn't impact your day too much. I will pass on your lovely comments to Dan and Nathan on Support who I know, will be really chuffed to hear them. ### "Brilliant medical software that makes my life easier!"

For the last 22 years we have been using and working with Midexpro. Their customer service is one of the things that make this company stand out from the crowd. They employ friendly, knowledge people, who will patiently talk you through a problem. I always get a response within minutes if I have left a message, which is exactly what I want from a software company. The fact we have used this company for so many years, shows just how positive our experience is and how highly we would recommend them.

Pros

We are an anaesthetic partnership and use Midexpro for billing purposes only. We have used Midexpro since the early 2000's. It is straight-forward, logical and user friendly.

Cons

There is little to complain about this package. We do not need or use half the features provided and I cannot think of any disadvantages or issues I would like changed.
