I haven't integrated staff information yet but that is on my next "to do" list. Pros This software is rather intuitive and what one can't figure out, the very fast response time from customer service makes it very easy to use. Turns out very professional documents. It also provides mini workshops only 20-40 minutes in length that aid learning. Cons The sign in feature is such that it has to be done every time on logs in. December 21, 2023 5.0 ECP was very easy to set up and start using in the facility I enjoy using ECP. Pros I like the medication inventory which is very easy for staff to use. I also like the convenience of being able to look over multiple residents charts and information from my desk and not having to get up and grab multiple charts to clutter my desk. At times its necessary to have access to other sections for reference. At present one is unable to do this without loosing the info written or saving and having to reopen note to edit. I’m not the strongest with learning a new system. ECP has been by far the easiest system to navigate. The help desk has been great. \[sensitive content hidden\] has been amazing. Cons The previous system that we were using the med pass was easier to navigate. For instance once you provided medication for a resident the face on the Home Screen went away or the face was greyed out on the screen. It is hard to locate information or find the correct place to document in some cases. Pros It is easy to set up users. Other features are ok Cons It is not as robust as other products I've used. Alternatives considered [Eldermark](https://www.capterra.com/p/248496/Service-Minder/) Reason for choosing ECP ECP was in place prior to my arrival. I assume cost was the deciding factor. " February 14, 2023 5.0 Pros This product is very user friendly, even if you've never been in the healthcare industry. It is great to be able to see quickly who passed meds when needed. The system does med counts for you and even reorders the scripts and they get delivered straight to you.Their customer service is top notch, they will talk you through anything you need help with. Cons I didn't get trained enough from my organization so it took some time to work out the kinks. I don't care for the fact that other people have access to the same info, it can be removed easily by someone else. Optimizing patient safety. Pros Simple, easy to use and navigate. Easy to get customization for items needed. Support always available during implementation and set up. LOVE the access to side effects, training and having all that mass of information in one place! Love that you can input one provider and assign them to multiple individuals, makes it sooo much easier! Cons As an industry as a whole something needs to be done about communication of behaviors and a simple way to train staff/nurse at hosptial's on how to care for an individual who is non-verbal, allowing continuity of care without frustration on nursing staff or the individual. Pros Integrating this system into our company has made a world of difference. We have reduced our use of paper and our ability to track cares and charting for our clients has become much more efficient. Cons I have spoken with ECP support regarding this issue, but we are not able to enter in readings for BSL levels when the meter reads "hi" or "lo" (versus a number). Pros It is very easy for new staff to use, even staff that has never charted electronically. Cons Our facility is geared towards mental health and it is missing some pieces that we need.
