“the automated scheduling and rules set up seem to have hiccups or issues each time we try to fix them a different one would arise so i just stopped using the automation. If it worked or understood our complexity better somehow, it would make scheduling easier but i think our practice schedule and rules are too complex for the system to not counteract some of them along the line. “

Pros

Customer support answers right away and is courteous and helpful. My first attempt at a review was rejected because this section contained too few characters. However, I find no other pros for this software.

Cons

The layout is confusing and unintuitive; you have to learn how to use this program. It is slow. Accessing the information I want sometimes takes up to a minute while it loads data. amion.com is much easier to use and jumping from window to window was pretty much instantaneous.

Overall QGenda is easy to use for credentialing, there have been a lot of great updates and improvements that I've found helpful.

Pros

I like that I can keep track of document expiration dates, store documents, keep track of credentialed providers and locations all in one place.

Cons

I would like if templates that have been mapped could be searchable and deletable. It would be helpful if documents could be reviewed and redated/time stampped, some documents just need re-reviewed instead of having to refill everything. Mapping would be easier if there were more field selection options. For example, it would be nice to have a providers location order be available instead of alphabetical being the only option.

Pros

I like how it populates the applications already filled out. It makes the credentialer process much easier.

Cons

Nothing yet. We are still learning the ins and outs. I am learning new things everyday. QGenda is very easy to use.

I used to have great customer service support and felt like we mattered to the business, we have been with them for over 10 years. The products are easy to use, extremely handy and great.

Pros

Ease of use, versatility, mobile access, having everything all in one place, scheduling and credentialing.

Cons

The new customer support system without having a dedicated person or two that we contact when something is wrong it takes much longer to get things resolved than it did for the first 10 years we used the product.

I would recommend QGenda to anyone who asked for a good web-based scheduling platform. QGenda support has always been very responsive if we do need help with anything or have question. The initial set-up with QGenda went perfect and was a very smooth process. Our account managers were the best!

Pros

I like how user friendly QGenda is for the users and admin. The tracking ability and report part of QGenda has really changed how our scheduling department tracks equality amongst our physicians. We used to do all of our tracking by hand which of course leave room for human error so with us being able to pull these statistics in the stats tab is life changing.

Cons

Some of the newer updates that are available add to our workflow slightly. I do wish there was more options to turn off/on these updates.

Pros

Qgenda is easy to use in both creating and documenting an existing schedule. It is easy to modify as needed and is a great way to keep track of how much each physician is working. Shifts can also be counted.

Cons

I don't love the calendar function. It is difficult to display a calendar for nonusers to see. We like to post our monthly calendar and nonusers don't need the details that users do.

It is better than having a paper scheduling system but not by much. Certainly not worth the money.

Cons

Does not do what we were promised it would during the sale. Once they got our business, customer support has pretty much been existent.

Credential Genie was and has been a lifesaver for me! They know their stuff and are always so helpful and available. Their pricing is very reasonable as well.

Pros

I found the software very easy to use and the Credential Genie staff were always available to help me with any problems that arose. I like the you can run reports and get data quickly.

Cons

There really hasn't been much that I don't like about the software and if I need help with something, Credential Genie has always helped me and in a timely manner.

Overall I definitely would recommend QGenda. It has an incredible number of capabilities; I'm sure there are many I haven't even touched. I need to keep exploring with it.

Pros

\- Being able to build compensation into the schedule - Being able to add nonscheduled users to view specific schedules - Being able to add a schedule that is unrelated to our practice but needs to be viewed - Customer support is always very positive and professional

Cons

\- At times it's difficult to communicate some of the complexities of a request to customer support. Sometimes they believe a task is complete, but in some cases I end up finishing it for them. - Some of the reports are hard for me to understand

Qgenda was great in the beginning but over time as they grew and tried to expand into other areas they lost some of the special love they used to shower their customers with

Cons

They outsourced customer service and instead of having an indidivudl assigned to your account you have generic people who respond to issues

Reason for choosing QGenda

Qgenda was far superior at the time and we stuck with it

My overall experience has been positive in regards to managing staff schedules with a little headache when I need to make last minute changes.

Pros

I like the ability to filter and sort staffing schedules and determine hours and coverage. I can great groups/cohorts and set the schedule as I like.

Cons

I dislike the tedious clicking required to deleted already created scheduling. It is also not always clear that my scheduled fully published.

Easy tracking and reporting. We know where all of our residents, faculty, CRNAs, Techs are scheduled on any given day. For me it is the tracking of the residents (115), their rotations and time off is easily verified.

Cons

As an academic program, year ending/beginning could be smoother. We depend on the QGenda staff to turn to around quickly. Maybe training around updates could be done at the program level to save time.

A single vacation request can be put into 6 different "states" - pending, draft, published, lock pending, lock draft, and lock published. Who would intuit what these states imply? Here is what a vacation request should entail: user clicks on the date -> user clicks "vacation 8-5." Here is what a vacation request actually entails: user clicks on the date -> click “vacation 8-5" -> click select start time -> click 08am hr -> click 00min -> click select end time -> click 05pm hr -> click 00min -> click make request.” They have turned a simple command is 9 steps. This is a level of engineering idiocy I thought was reserved for government systems, not private enterprise.

Pros

Highly customizable. Pretty easy access from both desktop and mobile. Calendar integration works well.

Cons

Engineers seemingly layer on features without any consideration of the user experience. Redundancy in all request and approval processes. No actual calendar views. No easy way to print a month/week/year-at-a-glance. When errors occur, there is no natural trouble shooting process, and they are highly cryptic.

Excellent! Managing so many different people is actually much less painful using Qgenda than a more old-fashioned system like Excel or even TigerConnect.

Pros

We use Qgenda to manage a schedule of over 60 individual physicians, residents, and technologists. The software is very user friendly. Adding someone to schedule using the drag and drop or copy feature is quick and makes complex scheduling simple. It is also easy to run reports to track time and review request limits for individuals.

Cons

It can be a bit complicated to add a new task or person to the software, requiring a lot of clicking and shifting of items. Customer service has been great at adding these items when we are unable to figure it out, however.

I’ve had a really great experience with QGenda! My onboarding process was smooth, the training was clear and thorough, and the customer service has been consistently wonderful. I work two different jobs in credentialing, and I now have both organizations using QGenda—that’s how much I trust and enjoy using this platform! It’s made my workflow more efficient and helped me stay organized across both roles.

Pros

One of my favorite features is the ability to create and use email templates directly within the credentialing platform. It saves me a lot of time and helps ensure consistent communication with providers and references. I also really appreciate that I can send emails straight from QGenda without having to switch between systems—it helps keep everything organized in one place and makes my workflow more efficient.

Cons

I wasn’t happy with how my signable documents turned out after they were mapped by QGenda. The fields where the provider’s name or a date would auto-populate now appear as large, clunky rectangles, which makes the document look messy and unprofessional. Because of that, I’ve chosen not to use this feature. I would love to see cleaner formatting or more flexibility in how mapped fields appear on finalized documents.
