Pros

I like how easy it is for customers to book and I like the Features of the marketing it is user friendly and very specific to the needs of the business and clients

Cons

The Price I feel is a bit high but bearable just it cost to add other features in which I feel it’s already priced high

email and text reminders, allows clients to schedule themselves, time saver, ability for multiple therapists to use and view each others' schedules

Cons

Clumsy login that doesn't allow password to be saved, takes too much time to login in, requiring at least three letters of the last name to be typed in before offering options

### "Terrible Program"

Do not use this program, it's a ridiculous joke. The customer support is almost non existent, i'll send and email and not hear back for 4-5 days. The program will occasionally just kick me right out for no apparent reason, the cost is WAY too much for so little that it does. None of my financial reports match each other even within the program itself, the 'end of day' and daily report show different amount for deposit and credit card batches. I could go on, but just DON'T use this program it's awful

Pros

It does keep track of my clients visits relatively correctly.

Cons

A lot of things, but MOST of all how much it costs for how crappy it is

It really helped bring us all together both in the office and in the field. I love that it is cloud-based and any of our employees can access the site from anywhere. It also helped us completely organize the schedule. I love being able to find jobs we did in the past.

Pros

Easy, efficient and convenient for everyone to use. Not difficult to learn and train employees on. It's easily customized to fit our needs.

Cons

This software is more suited toward service businesses like salons or spas, but we have managed to make it work for us. Unlike salons and spas, our jobs are not all located at one place. We would like our clients to see the address of the appointment in the confirmation emails and this feature is not available.

Confirmation and client history. Also, setting repeat appointments.

Pros

It's helpful to achieve monthly numbers and totals. It helps organize inventory and is great for confirming appointments. One of my favorite features is being able to make repeating appointments and view history.

Cons

I do struggle with booking appointments in certain time slots and being able to alter time to make certain services fit and keep them with that specific person. It also kicks me out and tends to run slow a lot even after clearing and refreshing.

Pros

Easy to use and navigate. Very simple and to the point which makes it and easier system to train new employees on.

Cons

Sometimes it reaches an error when working but is usually down for no more than 10-15 minutes.

Appointments and customer management.

Pros

Reports are good. LOVE the fact I can manage all 3 of my sites on the platform seamlessly The email reminders work well BUT being in the UK I cannot use the SMS which is a bit annoying

Cons

It can be a bit buggy sometimes, my staff get annoyed with it on occasion I don't like that many of the cool features I really want with my top level subscription aren't available in the UK ... most notably the App. Feels like I'm not getting what others are getting despite paying the same

I looked at over 10 spa software companies, and narrowed it down to two. Booker was one of them, and the company we decided on. Since we made the change, I have had nothing but problems! If you are looking for a basic program, this may work.... However, do NOT be surprised when the things you thought were included suddenly become an add-on and extra charge! If you are looking for a program that offers reports, this one may have 140 reports. However, they all need to be downloaded to Excel in order to dig down, and many of them print on legal (Inventory). The products and services, for those getting into medi-spa services - are QUITE INVOLVED! If you have a commission structure for service providers that varies, beware: you need to set up each provider's name and services offered into the system, one by one. Payroll is confusing too. If you do not use Booker's partner processing company, Mercury, client's cannot purchase gift cards on-line, NOR can they shop and purchase one-line. We were OVER SOLD on this system, and it has UNDER-DELIVERED. If just 4 months, we are looking at other vendors. Furthermore, if you are planning to have sales data transferred, IT WILL NOT HAPPEN. All data beyond when we "went live" is NOT available. Make sure you have plenty of hard copy reports of previous sales data --- because you will NOT be able to pull it up. Payroll reports do NOT list client names, rather you have to copy the Invoice #, then go to another screen, paste the #, and do a manual search. Very time-consuming. Not the most user-friendly system, very involved, scanners don't work most of the time, system locks up more than it should. Too many extra tasks to do simple features. And this is just the beginning...

I LOVE that it is web-based. I can access my account from anywhere, so it's easy for me as a manager to check the schedule, book appointments, or make real-time changes on-the-go.

Cons

Some features aren't 100% thought out. There should be a little more customization available for the online booking and membership plans.

We opened our boutique spa in 2008 and chose Booker (Spabooker at the time) from several other online booking platforms because of the functionality and intuitiveness of learning Booker's features. We witnessed Booker's services increase over the years with the addition of selling gift certificates online as well as products. Our business grew as Booker's functionality grew. We are very happy we chose Booker 8 years ago!

Pros

Ease of use. Reports.

Cons

System is down often.

Pros

It's very easy to use the appointment calendar and set up employee schedules.

Cons

Online payment options are very limited - it would be nice to connect PayPal. Additionally, customers can't book with us online unless they create an account. Having that additional step is a bit of a barrier to entry for them.

we have been using booker.com for years now and can only recommend it. as a small business affordable monthly rates as well as prompt and friendly customer service are important to us. we also love the fact that all the newest updates are available to us at no extra charge. the booker.com team constantly thinks of new ways to make my job as a spa owner easier. the platform is intuitive, easy to use and helps with customer relations, specials, mailers and social media. the extensive list of reports keep you in the loop and make payroll and accounting effortless.

Pros

low monthly cost great customer service integrated customer relation and special features great reports and accounting log into your business from anywhere

Cons

I'm not crazy about how the software runs on my iPad at the moment but I'm pretty sure the new booker.com iPad App release in November 2014 will resolve this issue

That you can't be on the phone and pull up booker to book an appointment without wifi.

Too expensive for what I needed. And software went down alot in the first 2 years. I used it for five years. The support was good though.

Pros

The reports were awesome! I also liked that I could customize my booking page.

Cons

The mobile version, and booking appointments was complicated. Never could take payment from the mobile version.

Booker and team were great with helping me get this set up for our specific needs and marketing requirements. The whole process with Booker and the team helps us keep everything in one place. It's definitely a more seamless integration of the things we use the most. Their customer service and training were really terrific, too. We keep learning of more tools to help our practice grow every day!

Pros

This software makes booking appointments easy for customers and staff and helps us keep our practice organized.

Cons

It took a bit of time to get used to the new system, and it's a little bit more detailed to use than our other software. Once we got it tho, it's great!

Pros

More robust than we really need, but the combination of POS and online booking works for us. Also, like the integration with SpaFinder gift cards.

Cons

There is a lot it does that I have never tested because we are a booth rental salon and don't use the employment section (payroll, etc.)

simplification and a great tracking system.

Pros

I like that it is easily navigated and my students catch on really fast. It also tracks their respective practical applications. You have everything you need when cashing-out the drawer. If a mistake was found it is easily traceable.

Cons

It took me a minute to learn the system via the call sessions between your reps and myself. You have to play with to get to know it better. I also didn't like not being able to check a client in after 8 o'clock in the evening being we stop services at 9. I had to go back it settings a make one simple change.

### "Beware of what you are told by customer service rep"

Pros

I was excited to transfer my software to Booker. I was told that 99.5% of my information from my previous software company would transfer. The part that would not transfer would only be my stored credit cards. I was good with this. Only to find out on onboarding day that my appointment book does not transfer! I would have to manually re enter my books. WHAT? I have 9 stylists that are booked out almost 6 months in advance! Really? You want me to manually go through and enter every single appointment? They can enter the past, but not the future appointments? WHO DOESNT DO THIS? Booker apparently. I had every question known to man about the program as it would be a huge deal to transfer software for my salon... I have not heard of any other company NOT transfering the most vital part of the business.

Cons

I signed the agreement based on the facts I was given by Customer support representative . I was good with the enrollment fee.... well, come time to transfer, the most vital part of my business could not be transfered.... and they refuse to refund the my fee!! I DIDN't change my mind, they failed to deliver on what Customer support representative sold to me. Also, they kept charging me a monthly fee although I was told I would not be charged until after I was installed. I was charged twice without even being installed!!!! They have said they will refund those 2 charges, but not the enrollment fee based on what she told them ..... of course she is covering. Bad. bad. bad.

I use it on a daily basis to book appointments, take payment from clients, and store client info. I can write notes about each client to provide a more personalized experience at future visits. Online booking it great.

Pros

its easy to use. Customers like that they can book online. I like the way it categorizes product so it makes it easy to access st checkout. The booking process is also easy and convenient

Cons

Sometimes it is slow or won't work at all. The app crashes a lot so I find myself using the desktop site more.
