Booker has been great and has improved our overall "no shows" decreasing. Booker allows clients to be notified, through email or text, about their appointments. This is very efficient and freed up a lot of time for our receptionist, who no longer makes reminder calls. I love being able to access Booker on any phone / tablet/ ipad/ computer. It is easy to use and keeps our business running more smoothly.

Pros

Ease of use. Love being able to access with apps or online. Allows us to book rooms, so we don't double book, which used to be an issue with our previous system. It also provides a space to write notes and has a good waiting list option.

Cons

Sometimes there are issues with notification to clients. It seems like it gets addressed, but there seem to be frequent "bugs" being worked out. When it works, it is great though

Pros

This app is easy to use. I can book clients from anywhere. It is straightforward and easy to navigate. I am only a user and not administrator but everything I need to do is available to me.

Cons

Sometimes the software takes a while to load but that's the only thing.

I'd been looking for a program to check all my boxes and make me feel secure while not at my salon. Booker has done that and more with it's user friendly interface and fantastic customer support.

Pros

The simplicity of self training and being able to pass that knowledge to my staff is invaluable. Even having multiple employees using the system, I enjoy being able to trust the front end of my business is always in capable hands.

Cons

There are not many cons to Booker. If I had to find a flaw, I'd say the permissions needed to be granted can take a little longer to navigate, but the pros outweigh this one issue tenfold.

The ability for clients to use the online booking feature, being able to link to Frederick, the variety of reports available, the marketing tab is a great tab as well.

Pros

Being able to use the online booking feature for clients, all the reports that are available. I really love the ease of using the client list as well. Being able to add Frederick to this as well is very helpful.

Cons

The inability to rearrange a few things such as drop down menus throughout various things. Otherwise, nothing.

No cons at all. Its truly worth the investment and the time it takes to set it up. As an owner, it is exactly what you need for organization and growth.

I done a very throughout research before finally made the decision to go with Booker. It's been an entire year since my company started using Booker. Our revenue has increase by 100% in one year, a large part has to do with Booker. The online gift card purchase is also a breeze. I'm pleased to announce in 2016 my company has sold over $10,000 in Gift Cards! That is 10 times from the prior year!

Online booking

Pros

Great for salon POS, great for keeping track of inventory. Daily cash register end of day functions are straight forward and easy to use.

Cons

Online booking's lack of a feature for clients to be able to search for next available appointment with a specific stylist. Literally every booking software does this. It's our number one complaint from our clients. The end up getting frustrated going day by day and eventually call the salon instead.

It is easy to use and has lots of nice features. The system allows us to store patient preferences and add notes to each appointment which is very helpful!

Cons

Often runs slow and needs frequent updates. It is sometimes a process to move appointments because the "room assigned is already in use"

It does pretty much everything I need for my business. I own a massage therapy business

Pros

Sure you don't what I like most about Booker is that it pretty much does everything for me including payroll as well as booking appointments and online booking and a wide variety of different things that you can do with the software

Cons

There is a companion marketing tool called higher Frederick. However it is quite expensive relative relative to other marketing softwares I have seen.

Cons

Specials can challenging to set up, there's no way to apply specials to just the subtotal of an order

customer service is always there to help and answer questions. I like the notifications that come if there are any issues with the system and that Booker stays on top of these issues and attempts to resolve them as quickly as possible with little interference to running a business.

Tracking orders has never been this easy thanks to the mobile application. The interface is very high quality. It is a user friendly application.

Cons

Over the years, I've had need for a scheduler that did more than just scheduled. For those of you that want to have online booking with automatic follow up confirmation reminders, thank you emails auto birthday emails, inventory , invoicing, reports for everything you can think of ( the list is endless) AND as a bonus you get customer service and support whenever u need it - it's a perfect program - and the apps make it so easy to use. As a side note, my rep there, Robert Schmitt, has held my hand through many things I couldn't figure out on my own, and never made me feel as if I was taking up his time or asking a stupid question. You get 5 stars form me!

So far no issues for me. When there's been a glitch, they get back to you and let you know if it can be fixed ASAP or if it's in their newest update, always being ahead of the problem.

Pros

It's so easy to use. Booker walks you through everything

Cons

The line that tells you what time it is moves way too fast. It's not bad but for a 1/2 a second can scare you.

I have been a client with Spa Booker for 5 years. In that time Spa Booker and their incredibly knowledgeable team have helped me build and retain my clientele. The feature of this software are user friendly for both the account holder and the client. With features such as online booking, promote, and a slew of reports, this is the only software I would rely on to manage the back end of business! The online feature acts as a 24 hour receptionist that my clients depend upon for their booking needs, not everyone runs on the same schedule or may not want to make phone calls to the business for discreet waxing appts, this adds comfort to our clients when scheduling. The newly added promote feature has brought back clients and regained an opportunity for those who we haven't seen over a long term period of time. The segments add different discounts based on your last service. Within one month of using this new tool my business had generated thousands of dollars from clients we would have otherwise considered a "lost" client. Spa Booker is always finding innovative ways to remain on the cutting edge with features that are consistent and easy to use! The have their clients in mind when adding features that will ultimately help grow, retain and maintain business and revenue. I know many businesses alike that would benefit from this software as it has been instrumental to the success of my company!

I am able to see daily appointments, clients are able to book online, commission and rates are tallied, I can enter notes for clients, track clients' history and client information.

Pros

I like the speed and ease of navigating through Booker to follow my schedule and appointments, create notes and track client history.

Cons

Most reports are for management only. It would be nice if there were more features for staff to run specific reports relevant to their individual needs.

I am really pleased with the fact that I can use one software to track all of my business activities the features are user friendly and very helpful I like the reports that you are able to pull down

Cons

I paid per month and I feel that's a little expensive because I am a suite Salon Suite owner with only one operator so there is only one person using the software and that is just a little expensive in my opinion.

It has the basic functionality of online booking, sending clients text and email reminders and tracking employee time.

Cons

The thing i like least about this software is that it is very unstable. It is often "down". We decided not to go long term with this software for this reason.

Booker is an excellent tool to use while trying to manage and book appointments. It keeps everything simple and organized. Navigating through Booker is fairy simple and straight forward. It is user friendly and the fact that there is 24 hours book support provides a lot more ease. They support staff have always been excellent and helped me resolve any issue(s) i was having. Overall very satisfied with the system :)

Sometimes it will not let us book a certain room because its not registered under a particular person however it does not tell us this when we are trying to book a room. It just gives an error message. Possibly stating how to fix the error would help as its not always obvious to the end user what is missing.

About a year ago, I had to choose from a gazillion salon software companies. I can read all of the books I can on swimming, but until I get in the pool type thing. Well I finally dove into the BOOKER pool and I'm glad that I did. Was there a long learning curve for me? Yes. And I expected that. Do I love being free of pencil and paper? Oh yeah! Scheduling, organization, purchase history, employee hours and totals, hours, etc. right at my fingertips. Do the clients like it? Yes, especially the text and email alerts/reminders. (Gone are the time-consuming days of calling clients the day before!) What I like most about BOOKER? The customer service team(via phone, live cyber-chat or email) has been there for us since Day 1 with patience, understanding, punctuality, humor and knowledge. I'm very impressed. Is BOOKER perfect? No. There are a few things that I would like to see changed/improved. EX: I find it odd that in order to send a text to a client, we must first ask for his/her cell provider. The good news about my critiques? BOOKER is open to criticism, they even have a SUGGEST A SERVICE page where BOOKER NATION can suggest improvements and BOOKER listens! Long Live BOOKER!!! AMENDMENT I raved about BOOKER customer service. And I failed to mention one team member who deserves recognition: Justin Cook. Justin has always delivered for us. Spends as much time on the phone with me as I need. Always calls me back. Pays attention to his email. Provides excellent trouble-shooting and research. And does all this with a pleasant attitude, compassion, grace and humor. I'd hire him for my team any day.

Organization, feel better using a good program, easy booking, onlibe access so it's nice to know my schedule ahead of time.

Pros

Easy to read, easy to use. Not too many glitches. Color coding to organize my clients. Lots of options in settings.

Cons

Not being able to do notes in app vs on computer. Some cell phones do not work properly with the app.

Keeps my appointments and clients neat and organized. I love the online booking. Being able to see my reports for the week.

Pros

How easy it is to use. Everything being in one place is extremely convenient and helps keep my business running smooth!

Cons

I do get very annoyed when the system is down or is running slow. The app could use some updating. It is not as easy to use as the computer system. I usually just use it to check what appts i have.
