After subscribing in Oct 2015 for a ''free'' trial of 30 days, I'm beeing held hostage since then. Booker will not cancel my account after 4 written requests and 3 calls. They are charging the fees on my credit card monthly and wont stop.WORST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE, EVER. STAY AWAY.

Pros

It is so easy to use and easy to learn. There are so many updates that the software keeps up with what you need as well adding new features. Makes booking clients effortless.

Cons

Booker battles with different locations and there are sometimes issues with emails. This however is a very easy software to learn

Pros

This product has really revolutionized our department. So simple to use and collaborate between various departments.

Cons

So far there has not been any issues with the Booker Software. It suffices for our purposes.

I don't like how hard it is to book an appointment while using the app and sometimes from the desktop.

None really. Nothing that I couldn't have gotten anywhere else.

Pros

The only thing that I did not have issues with was the training. The trainers are knowledgeable and very patient with trainees. The training is good, everything else (like meeting a business' needs, or customer support) not so much.

Cons

They have 2 versions. The older one will allow scheduling classes AND personal services AND do retail - perfect for my business! We do all of that! BUT... they assigned me to the newer version which will not allow scheduling of classes. More than half my business cannot be scheduled with this version... AND they refused to let me switch to the other version (even though that one is perfect & this one is useless to me). Now I need to shop for another scheduling software.

I already knew how to use the system when I went to open my own place. It was also easy to use if I hadn't already known the system

Cons

The fact that if I don't use it for a while during the day I have to log back in. Other wise nothing bad has happened haha

Pros

How easy it is to pick up. Some software packages have too many intricate parts that you need a lot of training to figure out

Cons

Some of the reports appear to be duplicative - I do like the fact that if you point out situations to make them better - Booker listens to you

there are lots of little functions that make it difficult to use, such as auto populating in a different drop menus automatically instead of the one i manually select. very annoying

Pros

functions most of the time, simple enough to use

crashes often on weekends or busy days

Switched to Booker almost 2 years ago now. One of the best business decisions I have made in over 20 years in the massage industry. Great product, great support. I studied the competition for six months before going with Booker. My previous choice was a disaster. The online integration, scheduling, and gift certificates sales put Booker in the top two. Their ability to allow clients to schedules couples therapies online put them in a class by themselves.

Pros

Bottom line is it is easy to use once you take time to learn the site. There is a small amount of bugs or issues I ever run into.

Cons

The default view setting occasionally resets on the Appointments page, otherwise no major bugs on the site.

Pros

I love the text and the email confirmation option. I love that you can select rooms for each service that helps us avoid overlapping appointments.

Cons

when they do updates randomly. especially when it's busy at work. it slows down us and backs us up on busy days.

Booker let’s you book appointments and do orders all in one place, it makes history and deposits easily accessible

Cons

Booker crashes a lot and runs slowly sometimes, it makes things very inconvenient and frustrating during those times

Pros

This is not a good product and we are once again down. Booker does not realize the impact on a business when there product is always down. They charge monthly when we are down 20% of the time.

Cons

Booker is down again today this is a weekly occurrence. I have 52 employees and can not book appointments, check anyone out and the bookkeeper can't do her work. This software company hangs up on people when the software is down and does not have 24/7 support. We are in the process of moving to MindBody. Buyer beware. You can not operate a business without POS software.

Cons

Only con about booker is you have to make sure you clean your cookies often, otherwise the server can be very slow.

Business management is good and we like the reports- except some of them are not clear what they represent.

Pros

The online booking is nice and clients enjoy the ease of booking on fb. We like the text reminder options for clients.

Cons

There are a few options that are challenging to use and not as customizable as we would like. We would prefer that there were less steps with a few of the options.

I can customize reports for my clients and take a quick look at how they are doing in a customized time frame. I also love the retail reports.

Pros

I love the ability to customize reports. But for a quick snap shot nothing can beat the Visual Dashboard. It gives you a quick look at key indicators to push you forward!

Cons

I'm sorry to hear that the online shopping cart is going away! Also- I used to love the live chat- but that is now gone too!

Pros

There are none if you can't get payments from the credit cards. Unless you just want to have a great system for working free of charge

Cons

The people are very polite but can't ever get anything done. They just tell you they can't handle the issue and it needs to go to a different department. Except they won't transfer the call they will only send them an email and these "other departments" absolutely never contact you. The credit card payments for my spa are still going to the previous owner. This is almost 3 weeks and SEVERAL calls which I was mainly on hold for later. Still zero resolution or response. I have no idea why they have a customer support number. You might as well call my cat.

### "Not Groomer Friendly As they Make it Believe"

Their demo looked great, and I was even given access to a demo version for a day to try it out for my grooming salon. But, I wasnt allowed to make any changes. Fair enough. After going through the settings and email campaigns, we signed up. Big mistake. There were several links not working within the program, one of them getting to the pets grooming notes. Another issue was booking a client with multiple dogs. Easy to do on the app (which the app was a huge selling point for us) but couldnt do it on the computer browser. The app also linked the appointments together to a single check out ticket whereas the browser version did not and you had to take take extra steps to do so AFTER you set up individual appointment. Huge time waster. You cant add or edit breeds. All the services are lumped into the Cat Grooming or Dog Grooming Category with no way to edit for all our various services. I emailed every person I had spoken too over a weekend with all my concerns that needed to be fixed ASAP, an they call be back on Monday telling me they were canceling my account because these issues were not ones they would be willing to fix any time soon.
