Ease of booking appointments in-house and on-line / Ability to customize emails / POS integration / History

Cons

(1) Elimination of the "we want you back" email that went out to those who haven't been in (Frederick is way to expensive for us!); and, (2) Elimination of the quick log-in codes, we are busy with multiple users and now there's no way to be sure who actually completed a transaction. \*\*These were some of our most favorite features that we no longer have. We are very disappointed.\*\* ALSO, it would be nice to have a dedicated support rep to work with, who knows how we use Booker, helps us to optimize, etc.

All my scheduling and appointment processing and business organization with it everywhere i go!

Pros

All the different types of reports that can be produced. Also that it is easy to combine client profiles when they make a new one online. I love that people can book online for various appiintments, they absolutely love that...and that their CC stays on their too so they can do it on the fly.

Cons

The online training sessions arenxt recorded to be seen at a later time if you miss the actual meeting time. Some of the trainings i would like to be a part of or at least view, but the times dont work with my schedule...if they could be accessed at a time more useful to me that would be great! Another thing is that i wish we could personalize the wording on the reminder text messafes like we can with the emails that are sent out!

Overall I really enjoyed using this on a daily basis. I am considering it for my own practice in the future.

Pros

I worked for a clinic that used this software. It seemed to work really well for them, especially the feature that allows clients to book online after hours. This feature sent an email alert to our email, as well as our phones so that we would know a client had booked an appointment. The platform made it easy to communicate appointment times, appointment changes, cancelations, and reminders. The clients really enjoyed how easy it was to use.

Cons

If the service was being updated or worked on, work had to go through back up procedures until the updates were ready. This never seemed to take long, and they always let us know in advance when things would be updated.

Terrible, the software is very buggy, and not reliable. Customer service spent hour after hour on the phone with me for over a year trying to get things to work- but ultimately I had to pull the plug. I went with mindbody but that was a nightmare also

Pros

It has good booking feature that notified employees and customers of appointments.

Cons

The system is/was super buggy and I spent a minimum of 10 hours a week troubleshooting with customer service- however it never worked properly and ultimately I had to get rid of it to try and get away from so many problems.

Booker allowed us to track who did what and when and optimize our plans from there.

Pros

Booker was a great service for the business. It allowed the team to do our whole job in one interface. Appointment scheduling, marketing, referral tracking, everything! It's incredibly simple to use for booking and rebooking, and allowed us to process online bookings in a simple way to provide the best Guest Experience possible.

Cons

Booker experienced a lot of downtime for maintenance while our company used it. We switched to a different service for a period. Booker, even with downtime, was a SIGNIFICANTLY GREATER experience, for both employee and customer.

Online booking, confirmation emails and texts, thank you and birthday emails, client profiles, daily total reports, staff sales report.

Pros

So I have been using it at two salons since January and I have been through starting up both salons and starting them up differently. The first salon did not want online booking, is a specialty salon where we have hair cutters and hair colorists, and we did not accept credit card tips. So I had to make it easy to book clients for two or someone's three different stylists. Then the other salon London alley wanted online booking, credit card tips were added, and also stylists typically did all the appointments for the client. So I had to set it up with bookings that made the online booking friendly and easy to use. I absolutely say if I ever had a problem I could call up Sabrina or any of the booker people and they would walk me right thru it. The system is for people who are idiots or people who know how to use a computer. Since we brought it in my clients have thanked me for streamlining the appointment setups, the confirmation email and texts, and even the thank you emails.

Cons

Only one day did the system have some errors and it wasn't even bookers fault. And if the system ever goes down you just go back to using the clover by itself and booker can help you after put the orders into the system.

Ease and efficiency. Accurate booking.

Pros

Easy and efficient, Booker helps us keep connected with our clients in various ways, including text/e-mail/etc. It's been very helpful with clients that can confirm via e-mail and have something to refer to, besides a phone call. The ease of learning the software has been awesome and the customer service is top notch!

Cons

Sometimes (rarely), Booker operates in slow speeds. People cannot click to confirm via text message, and it would help if they could. There have been a couple of times where Booker has been down during business hours and it became really hectic trying to get things sorted during that time, but other than that, we appreciate the apologies about that and the constant communication about issues.

Pros

I like the ability to see the schedules of other people at my wellness studio. I can see who will be working, in which rooms, and all on one screen.

Cons

I dislike the checkout options. I would like to be able to choose if an email goes out to a client when I go through the checkout process. Many folks are sick of receiving an email every time I check them out and I don't have the choice to send one or not. The app is kind of a nightmare. It's handy for setting up a new appointment but horrible for checking people out. It throws up errors every time I try, so I have stopped bothering. So I have to wait to get home to my computer to check all of my clients out. Very inconvenient.

I run a business where online booking and scheduling systems are crucial. We outgrew our old system and had the choice of either Booker or another system that focuses on the spa industry (figure it out). Booker was slicker in their pitch and their promises. More corporate and seemingly more professional, so we chose them.... What a horrible choice. Some issues we had with Booker: 1) The promises they made in the sales process did not transfer to the product experience. The product simply did not work as sold. 2) The customer service was terrible as each time we called, their answer was, "Sorry, the system cannot do that." Even in situations where a simple command should have worked, it did not. 3) The system is too rigid, too linear, too confining to work for most businesses. If you use it EXACTLY as they suggest, it is okay, but if you need any sort of customization, forget about it! We needed to make a minor field mandatory and it couldn't even do that. Ultimately, after making all the effort to set it up and learn it, we had no choice but to leave Booker. We only used it for one month and the time and money wasted was crazy. We ultimately went with the other company and are VERY happy now.

very little customer service is out sourced and even though the outsourced employyess thry to help , they are unable to help

This system is ALWAYS going down We literally can not make appointments...take payment or any other necessary things to run a business...this happens minimally at least evry three to four weeks DO NOT !!! DO NOT GET SIGNED UP WITH THEM and then their attitude is always really pathetic and non caring

Pros

Decent software when it works, but there're better options. I will move to another service soon.

Cons

I don't think a company like booker.com provides services through internet understand how downtimes are important to customers. I use them to handles customers' schedules and services, and their services had two major outages in the last 2 weeks. Their IT department doesn't understand 99.99% rule, and good luck with customer support.

It was cheap at first, but after got bought out by mind and body, it's no longer a good choice.

It helps me.yo check the booking anytime anywhere

Pros

It is very accessible, our therapist can check their bookings even at home. Booker is also easy to use, our new staff can easily learn the basic things such as how to make an appointment and how to take payments

Cons

What makes me disappointed to the software is when the process sometimes is slow and hanging especially during there are so many guests paying and making appointment. I find the system a bit slow that we sometimes need to ask the guests to wait for a while because we need to update the bill, and print it out.

Pros

The accessibility and features Booker provides are great and compliment our company well. I like the many options of different logins for staff as well as the ability to email appointment confirmations to guests and receipts. Generally the functions of Booker work with ease and the customer support is swift with answers. Also, you can't beat their reports!

Cons

Many quirks and frequent system slowness. When using the program with multiple computers I wish the system would auto-update. Bring back the quick login :)

Pros

This software is so easy to use and break down to new trainees! The keys on the side of the screen make it that much easier to learn and get going with your schedule!

Cons

Sometimes it freezes when there is a system update, it can be very inconvenient when you are checking out a client because it'll either freeze or go extremely slow, but it's very rare that this happens so no worries!

The software offers a lot of excellent features but there are a few that are missing that would be great for salons that do a lot of events or group bookings like we do. The customer support is amazing, which I really appreciate.

Pros

I like that I can work remotely and that there is a phone app that allows our technicians to view there schedules.

Cons

There's no fast way to make a group booking. It would be great if when making a reservation you could choose the number of those appointments to make and have the information automatically repopulate for those reservations.

The system is easy to learn even if you never have been in a training, is very easy to use and they have a good customer service , could be better if they have more people answering the phone but most of the times they are in contact with you in a short period of time .

Cons

We have a beauty salon and when you made the appointment is showing gaps in between the appointment so if you want to make the appointment on line is showing that we have space available and the truth is that we don't have so we need to call the client and apologize bc that space was full even if they didn't saw it , is very embarrassing that situation, but that is the only thing

It’s a very user friendly software. You get hands on pretty quick. Easy to see all kinds of reports regarding to sale.

Cons

Some features were disabled after they upgrade the software and increased the monthly fee for half! Another big problem is that it always breaks down. I would experience system breaking down every other month basically. We’re in the beauty industry. When we’re busy with services and clients, it’s a really bad situation that we can’t do anything.

I've been using booker on and off for years. Booker is a great booking software that is easy to use and manage. Client use is also easy and their isn't too much that is confusing. It had many features that can help you like keeping 'client records, from personal to general information and is easy to make and upkeep a list of services and retail in it. Only thing is, since mind and body took over the price has sky rocketed and became pretty expensive to use. If you can over look that, then this is an excellent software to use and have.

Terrible experience so far but what can you expect from an offshoot of MindBody. They are not ready to be a live site. I would definitely not recommend

Easy to navigate site but that is all I can say

\-poor customer service knowledge. I often have to do their jobs for them over the phone. -Zero functionality on the app outside of booking. Client can not leave reviews, client can not cancel appointments, client can not favorite site. -If client has not entered a phone number in the app(not required) they can book an appointment and calendar confirmation but no appointment gets booked in Booker site. Clients show up with no appointment booked and rightly very angry. I have let booker know about this months ago and still no progress. -App is in US$ and I'm in Canada. -Accidently refunded a client and told it's final but can be reversed in 60 BUSINESS DAYS! -Language is often a barrier with customer support.

It is great for when someone can book in the middle of the night for the following day. Clients say it is easy. So many great features, of which I can grow into.

Cons

Mobile and Desktop versions are not recognized by devices I believe. I had to have separate link in website because Mobile users were getting Desktop version, and then the font and graphics are too small. The Mobile version looks nothing like the desktop version. It is confusing. It is too hard for a non-programing type to get the versions to look good. POS, working with SubLyme, Integrity, and Trustwave all a major pain in the butt. For a small small business like me, there has to be something more like Square which is where I have gone back to!

When I was on my journey for a online booking system for my hair salon i tested and tried over 10 systems. What was super frustrating was most system didn't have close to all the features i was looking for. I needed ease of customer input, client history, inventory, finical reports , and a online booking feature and cloud/app that i could use from my phone. Look no future Booker offers all of this and more. After 3 years of being with Booker i have been approached by several newer companies who even offer a free 1 year subscription BUT lack all the features i need. Booker saved my life!

### "What happened to you? A user for over 8 years and you let me down "

At the start it was great, but as they expanded so did the issues, cost etc. Customer service points you to a link to read through a problem instead of actually helping you solve it. I’ve found a better software now that’s based in Canada. I wouldn’t go back to Booker again.

Having used it over 8 years I saw this system grow over the years. Great features such as reviews, multiple service bookings, receipts, email reminders etc

Cons

The cost kept creeping up and the fact I’m in Canada made it unaffordable. I reached out to them, but the basic features aren’t worth it in my opinion. Quite disappointed that as a long serving client they wouldn’t work with me to make it affordable. Obviously don’t care about the small business owner.
