Pros

Booker is easy to set up and very intuitive. The price is good and they have great customer service.

Cons

There are alot of features which is a good thing but it can take time to train your staff on how to use the software

being able to make appointments and keep track. Cashing out, checking in and out of the spa daily, filing reports and keeping track of daily weekly and monthly flow.

Pros

Pretty simple to make appointments and do reports. Customer support is always good. Overall quality is good.

Cons

It does breakdown sometimes but they do fix it as soon as they can. I can't judge on features because I really don't use them. I just use the basics.

Pros

I love how the software is able to tie so many different factors into one system, customers-credit cards-scheduling. Employees-schedules-payroll and more...

Cons

I wish that the notifications were a bit more customizable. I also wish that the software was a bit more intuitive regarding repeating series and the rooms that the appointments are placed in, but I'm not sure if that is a possibility.

Only frustration is how much it crashes esp on weekends when were are swarmed with clients checking in and out. It's frustrating when the internet works fine but our booking system is going slow our crashing.

Pros

quick (when working) and easy to use. makes booking appt easy online and with an app.

Cons

crashes so we are unable to see appt, check clients in or out. or when it moves slow.. we're a fast pace business so it can get frustrating and upset clients.

I have used Booker for the past 19 months. I haven't once wanted to look at any other software, as they have helped me fulfill my needs for my clients. I recommend them highly to any salon or spa looking to take care of the clients whole process from booking, to reminding, to following up!

Pros

I like the versatility of this software. It allows me to schedule, remind, and follow up on clients appt's. I love it! Also, if I ever have issue's with the software, booker's support team is amazing to help me work through any concerns.

Cons

Can't think of any! It has been a very positive experience!

Pros

Easy to use, fantastic customer service... Also really enjoy Frederick.

Cons

That you can't delete customers, or edit appointments to be changed for another day. Instead, you have to cancel the appointment and make a new one for another day.

Rebooking a service takes 4 - 6 clicks. Too long. One and Done needed. I used to be able to call in and get an expert or chat room. Now I get a response that tells me how long I have to wait until a 'live' person gets back to me.

Pros

The information it allows us to capture on a client.

Cons

Just too clunky. If I'm one letter off a client's name on which I'm searching, nothing comes up. No suggestions.

I have used Booker for more than 10 years and referred numerous friends. Booking appointments is simple. The reports are even easier. The reports made purchasing a new location for my business and getting financials for my accountant simple. I'd refer Booker to anyone. And to top it off, Booker's customer service representatives are awesome.

Easy to use. Great customer service.

Cons

Being on hold and the repetitiveness of automatic service which requires me to press one or two.

Pros

Booker is easy to use and has a lot of great features that are very helpful to operating salon. The appointment booking, notes, and revenue system are great.

Cons

I enjoyed Booker. It was easy to use and pull reports and manage the schedule of a salon with many technicians and 100s of clients.

Pros

I think the calendar layout is good and clear. I like the right-click options list and appreciate that it covers most client/user needs.

Cons

The fact that when you are ringing up someone with Clover, the lag between both sides during the few stages of processing is sometimes very tedious. Somewhat related: Entering in multiples of any item takes way to long since you must enter them separately.

Been a user for 3 years and the lack of money and support spent on this sytem shows just how little they care about the customer. Mobile app stink and always has been like that all the time The main system is frequent to network issues which kills your business You have customers waiting to checkout that end up having to wait for you to figure out how to do a written ticket , and you have to apologize for this issue ,Booker shows a staus of sytem but manipulates it because it does not show issues relating to checking people out or loging in Then my favorite is the printer issue which gets messed up once a month all of a sudden its printing half a receipt or does not print at all you can only use firefox and if you have issues they blame it on the browser setting or because you did not purchase your star printer from them then they do not want to help . again this is a major pain in the ass Even when they have major issues they take no accountability on how employess and customers are affect ,

We use Booker for all aspects of record keeping and payment processing for the business.

Pros

I appreciate having offsite access to all of the administrative functions of the software. I also appreciate the access to customer support via email or chat.

Cons

My inability to customize descriptors and categories and use those categories for reports. For example, I would like to customize the categories for adding/subtracting items to inventory. I find the deposit feature too cumbersome and unmanageable. I would like Booker to be able to calculate over-time for payroll and I would like to be able to apply unmovable schedule blocks for our clinicians. We need the expiration date function to work for loyalty points. I also need better report functioning for customers (ability to search on custom categories). Finally, I need more capability when creating specials and setting restrictions in applying them to an order.

Overall allows for fast & efficient booking of multiple spa treatments from different therapists. Does not allow double or over booking. Like the software.

Pros

Once you understand it, allows straightforward booking of treatments and accounts for a lot of variables.

Cons

Payment programs are not very "forgiving" A lot of steps to fix billing errors. System does not allow adjustment to credit card charges after invoice is settled. Also it randomly assignes treatment rooms. Would be better served if it recognizes therapists and use of the same room.

It's basically user-friendly everybody that uses it that is new to our facility gets familiar with that pretty soon

Cons

The memberships is Kinda hard to because there's no upgrade or downgrade so I think that that would be awesome if they could do something different with that

### "Worst piece of garbage out there"

Their mobile site is unusable, things break at every release, and the whole system crashes during the busiest times of the year. And it is crazy expensive, close to $ a month! Save yourself the insanity and go with any other company out there!!

Everything!!! Whole system is glitchy, goes down during busy times and with every new release, it only supports Chrome and Firefox and IE. The mobile version doesn't allow gc sales or package bookings. It autopopulates with expired ccards on file, I could go on and on. It is a total piece of junk.

The ease of the program, the online training, the support, involving users in pilot programs. The available online reports.

Cons

1\. I want the ability to delete discontinued series. It is easier than looking through a list. 2. I liked it when I am in Booker and can click on chat help without signing in with username and PW. 3. After a timeframe, the option to delete old sales.

I have been using Booker for the past 14 months. I have a large salon day spa, and until Booker came along, our reception desk was covered in large paper appointment books. Coordinating appointments was a huge hassle, especially when I had clients in for consecutive spa services. We would have hairdressers not show up because they didn't check their book the night before, we had clients who didn't show up because they couldn't cancel or reschedule their appointment with ease...it was so much stress, I think I had just gotten used to it, because I ran my business this way for over 30 years. Then along came BOOKER! I was terrified about going on line for so many reasons. Im in my late 50's and not very savy on a computer. I was afraid it would be too difficult to use. Jack was my rep, and he walked us through every step. It was so easy to solve any problem with tech support. Now, my business runs like a dream! No excuses, we all have access to our schedules no matter where we are. Clients love the ease of online booking, and the new system allowed my receptionists to do more customer service, since they don't have to be worried about the headaches of keeping paper books. I'm starting memberships soon, and have taken a couple of on line classes through Booker. Another challenge, but I have total confidence in the support I get from Booker to move forward and MAKE MORE MONEY! I urge you to consider using this system, I am certain you will love the way it changes your operation, and keeps you on top of your business!

Very easy to train new staff in how to use the system. It makes sense in how you process appointments and collect for services. Good inventory management system.

Cons

It will not process returns for products purchased. It does not close out a gift certificate once it is used fully.

I love the overall user interface. It's super user friendly, both on the customer side and employee side.

Cons

Sometimes the software goes offline, but it's never for more than a few minutes at a time. They are always great about notifying users when the system goes down and when it was resolved.

I was misquoted the price by a sales associate who didn’t tell me I was going to be charged in USD, which I live in Canada so CAD is a 30% difference, which is huge. After one on boarding call I realized I didn’t need all the services she recommended for me and it’s so expensive for a small business like myself. I never used the service and requested to cancel and now they are bullying me to pay for a year even though I’ve never used it, or even set it up, and are now being forced to pay for something I was mislead of the actual cost without even needing it. I lost my job due to shut downs, it’s been 6 months without pay and I’m helping support my father after he got covid and this company doesn’t care and is extorting money from me. Beware! I’m not the only one with this experience!

Pros

Nothing, I am so dissatisfied with this company’s ethics.

Cons

Customer service is horrible, they get a sales agent to con you into services you don’t need then try to lock you into long contracts that you can’t cancel.

I like that I can pulled daily reports based on each room, sales etc.

Cons

I do not like that I am not able to pull reports on daily sales that are deposited to our bank account. Once the membership is charged I have to wait to look and see how much we are charged by merchant services and then subtract that by our daily sales. - Also do not like that I am not able to delete memberships that we have made, but no longer utilize anymore.

Customer service is always super friendly and helpful, the ability to schedule group classes, the ease of taking payments, customer files and the ability to keep notes from sessions.

Cons

Software glitches more often than I would like. I wish deposits were made the next day no matter what, like Square, especially when I have to wait up to four days when someone pays me on a Thursday or Friday. I wish intake forms were available as an option for clients at all levels of the Booker service and not just the higher tiers.

It's easy to use and tends to give me most of the reports I need. It is also easy for the therapists to see their appointments from home.

Cons

When it crashes, it crashes HARD and for days. That's not optimal during busy season. I wish that the APP was easier to use, especially for the therapists to change their schedules. A lot of unnecessary steps.

Booking appointments works well, reports, etc. web based making it easy to use from anywhere

Cons

lack of customer service options, very difficult to chat with someone. Glitches happen: clients receiving cancellation emails, yet their appts haven't been cancelled. Inventory doesn't always work.
