We were able to present long term financial models to our stakeholders with confidence, thanks to PlanGuru. With so many unforeseen changes happening in the supply chain, a tool like this really helps bring clarity on potential margin impacts and cash flows forecasts. It encourages better strategic decision-making and helps alleviate priming decisions.

Pros

The modelling of multiple year financial scenarios with PlanGuru was a life saver. I can forecast out 10 years and just as easily adjust variables such as raw materials costs changing or changes in labor expenses.

Cons

The interface looks a little dated, and there’s some onboarding required if you’re familiar with Excel. I needed to put some effort into our manufacturing projections up front.

Es un muy buen software,es muy recomendable para cualquier entorno empresarial.

Pros

Tiene una interfaz muy intuitiva los tutoriales que aporta son claros y concisos y el hecho de que pueda funcionar con excel es excelente para cualquier persona que tenga algo de conocimiento mínimo en esta ofimatica.

Cons

Unas veces puede presentar fallas de funcionalidad pero no es algo grave o que realmente arruine la experiencia

PlanGuru allows me to build plans and change scenarios to see how different outside factors impact the bottom line, that alone is worth the annual cost.

Pros

Excellent customer support. Training for new users helps to avoid common mistakes. Intuitive design. Simple to consolidate multiple departments/projects.

Cons

Annual fees. Local install, cannot access remotely.

Pros

PlanGuru is a wonderful tool that makes it extremely easy for small businesses to budget projects as well as determine how well the projects are doing. PlanGuru is extremely easy to use and integrate with software like Quickbooks. The customization of everything on plan Guru is immense and extremely flexible. Overall, PlanGuru is easy to use and wonderful to have.

Cons

PlanGuru lacks a couple of integrations that I would like to see implemented in the future.

Pros

A very good starting package. Not overly complicated yet quite sophisticated with options that can accommodate large enterprises.

Cons

A bit on the slow side when you start putting together multiple divisions or consolidated corporations. Would like to plan on a monthly basis and report on a Qrtly. That can be done, but probably only by using the Advance Reporting Package which adds a little more complexity and time to the process.

I was able to move my forecasting out of excel and into a program that allows me to project out 5 years. I am still new to the program but so far it appears to be a great resource for our business.

Pros

It is very cost effective and has been a resource to suit our needs for forecasting/budgeting. It has been very easy to import data via Excel.

Cons

I wish the software had the ability to directly connect to NetSuite so I didn't have to import and export via excel.

This tool helps to get speed in building a set of projections. It is excellent to have the integration of balance sheet, profit & loss and cash flow.

Pros

Ability to build complex financial models/projections without having to worry about the integrity of a complicated Excel file.

Have had some software crashes with certain version releases.
