It is reassuring to know that my information is saved and protected. Additionally, I find the system very easy to access and navigate. Cons Sometimes the notifications and status is delayed and I am not sure of the process of my reimbursement. I believe it could benefit from a updated layout/structure as it is very dated, and and update could make it more user-friendly for its consumers. It works well, and I have not experienced any crashes or long delays in data retrieval, which is a great plus to the software as it holds a large magnitude of company data. Pros I appreciated the fast service within the application given the amount of data it holds, across multiple servers. It is relatively user-friendly; I used the application for the first time 6 months ago and had little issue navigating the multiple windows and data sources within the software. Cons The application is relatively older and the appearance of it displays its age easily. A more user-friendly and consumer-appealing layout would make the application easier to navigate for first-time users. Like I mentioned before we were not trained to use the software correctly. Pros Honestly, SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence could have been a game-changer at my job if two things were done differently. First, we didn’t get the proper training upfront. I’m talking about actually going through the certification on the SAP website—not just a quick overview. I had to take it upon myself to get trained, and once I did, I saw how powerful the software really is. Second, I think we should have invested more in the software itself. Without the right setup and features, it felt like we weren’t getting the full experience. If we had done those two things from the start—proper training and better investment—it would have made a world of difference. Cons One thing I really don’t like about SAP BusinessObjects is that if someone accidentally deletes a line, it’s pretty much gone for good. SAP IT services can’t retrieve it—it’s just stuck in the system forever. That’s a huge issue, especially when mistakes happen. I can’t fully blame the software, though, because proper training could have helped prevent situations like that. It just goes to show how important it is to make sure everyone knows how to use the system correctly from the start. Pros We enjoyed using SAP Business because so far it is the only software that we have found that allows us to put together decent, attractive and factual data reports easily and that can analyze data as well. SAP Business has also helped us alot to identify weak spots in our marketing with its amazing analysis tools, it helps us fill in the gaps to stay on top of all the new upcoming trends on the market for our industry. It can be shared shared among us no matter where we are so that we can all work on the same data as a team. We enjoyed using SAP Business because it has the capability to process a large amount of data quickly and helps us put that data into visual graphs that are able to show us real time data that has been analyzed. It can be easily intergrated with Microsoft office as we use power point for alot of our presentations, it allows us the ability to export from PowerPoint to SAP. It easily intergrates with other SAP platforms for more extra functions. It has been great for day to day use and has made us look more professional with their creative interactive graphs and self service capabilities. Cons What we least like about SAP is that it can not be used by just anyone a bit of computer literacy is needed as some functions and instructions are a bit hard to understand with out some computer literacy.
