Easy to use, nothing too stressful about it. Cons The graphic design needs an update. The proposals look a little dated, and definitely not in line with the current design standards for digital marketing (my industry). I recently switched to a different tool because of this. Its clunky at best Pros I like BM as I have used it for 10 Years, their cloud based system needs a lot of help. Their C.S. needs even more help. Cons Everything has to run through 1 person. We use the cloud version with 4 seats…. Constant crashing, executing functions are S-L-O-W and often take minutes to load like your using a 10 yr old computer (all other ohms work fine), when multiple users are on simultaneity it gets infinitely slower and you can tell when a crash is about to happen. President Security and Investigations Used the software for: 2+ years ### "I would NOT Recommend this Program" October 16, 2019 3.0 Pros It made a very professional looking proposal, integration with QuickBooks was good. Cons It was a major computer hog using SQL server, it was down often, tech support was very good probably the best experience was with tech support, but in the end we were down for 5 weeks and they still wanted our money for renewal. That was the final straw, We now use an electronic proposal program and love it and it is much easier and less money and tracks when the customer signs it and approves it and has e-sign for ease of approvals. Pros The proposals look great with Bidmagic isn't crashing and freezing up. Cons Horrible support, I've had well over 100 crashes in the last 6 months. They don't respond to support tickets or call you back. Very basic feature like copy and paste for some menus don't work. Sometimes on boot up it takes 10 to 15 minutes before the program even opens. Bidmagic never does maintenance on the logs causing the program to bottle neck and hardly work. We burn 3 times the time it should take to get a proposal done. Review Source RB Russell B. Has too many issues and is not the easy product advertised" March 19, 2018 2.0 This is yet to be determined Pros "If it were working" the quotes look good and professional. There are two ways to preview a bid, either as a Word document or as a PDF. The tech said not to use the PDF lol. Anyway, if the bugs were fixed this would be an ideal solution for our needs but since we are having so many problems, I would recommend waiting to purchase this. Cons We have over invested in equipment and man hours to implement this software with a server for two chairs and are months in. The problems still are not resolved and the Tech support is slow to find answers from the developer. Cons To hard to get products into takes a lot of time does not keep track of price changes. Does not do change orders. Installed on a local pc only I can use. Not automatically backed up.
