Cons

the Complexity of the Platform and some times some bugs needs alot of time to be resolved.

Absolutely Nothing.

Cons

The instructional videos look nothing like the actual tool. The instructional videos and the help feature for CodeBeamer are worthless. Just garbage. I can't follow any of the instructions.

Not sure. The decision was made before I starting working here.

all in all, it is a system which contains all of you documentation, design, requirements, development tracking, testing tracking, release tracking, and in fact all of your activity, whatever it may be; all recorded permanently forever, even if you delete something you can trace who deleted it, when, etc.

Pros

I like the flexibility, i.e., that it is completely configurable to suit your particular workflow; also like constant tracking, i.e., I like ability to see what a release consists of and if it is fully covered by testing, as well as every test run which has made the release to pas QA; I like attention to details when it comes to covering testing a QA plans, there are Test Cases, Test Sets, Test Runs, etc., I like abilities to track Bugs, also ability to have Change Request, etc.; I also like ability to assess and track Risks; I like that you access codeBeamer via web interface so working together with a team distributed around the globe is not an issue at all; I like the ability to link codeBeamer with Apache Subversion or Git, etc.; you can have repository for the documents; there is a Review Hub; there are various, customisable, Reports, which can help you get out info you would need

Overall I liked the product very much and it did grow very good in regards to modern UI over the time I used it. In regards of feature richness it had been very mature already when I started using it.

Pros

Highliy flexible and customizable. You can define your own processes and lifecycles and have a huge Roles & Permissions system where you can configure anything you can think of (even better than in Jira). Also you can document everything in the integrated

Cons

At least back in 2006-2012 (when I used it) the prices were made for bigger companies only (100+ employees) as the cheapest price was still very high.

Pros

Good for requirement management. Integration with OFFICE, DOORS and JIRA helps a lot. Integration with GIT. Great review hub functionality. Very flexible and configurable. Stable with new featuers comming fast. Good support from Intland. Documentation available and helpful.

Cons

User interface far from good - partially confusing, partially just ugly.

We are working with codeBeamer to fullfill the requirements from Automotive Spice and for this usecase the tool is very good for. Also we are working for medical products and with codeBeamer it is very simple to change the workflows from automotive projects to medical projects.

The easy way to create a traceability from the requirements to the tests.
