June 6, 2017 4.0 Please respond with fix for application fee handling or tell us why you aren't. Pros Ease of use. Accuracy. Small amount of glitches. Not overly expensive. Practically pays for itself in time saved compared to non-specific software. Cons Sometimes they ignore their customers on things important to them, such as the problems caused by how application fees are handled. In a very few instances, their way of doing things is somewhat roundabout but that's very rare. There are of course some limitations that I would love to see addressed in future updates, but overall our organization has never been happier or as efficient as we are today. Assuming that the data in the cloud is adequately protected and backed up, and that online availablility is in the "five nines" vicinity (which it seems to be), AppFolio is a real time-saver for accounting AND communicatons. Well worth the price. Cons The reports need some work, they are very difficult to read and you have to pull multiple reports to get certain conversation ratios. This is the 3rd program that I have personally used and it is by far the easiest to use. Implementation on the last program was a nightmare. This one was SO EASY!. The customer support team and implementation team are very professional, very patient and very knowlegable. They get back to you very quickly (unlike the previous company I used!) Pros It is very intuitive and very user friendly. You can pull up a property by tenant name (first or last), owner name, address. Having owned real estate for several years, the management has never been easier for me. Pros With a real estate side business, I'm able to do all of the necessary management of my properties from a simple app. Helps me connect with tenants, vendors, and business partners all in one. Saves me a lot of time from what used to be a grueling process. Great customer support team as well. Cons Nothing jumps out at me as negative about AppFolio. The one thing I would say is that the company often times adds new features to the app, which could take some time for others to learn.
