Cons Customer support. The fact that you have to submit a request is very antiquated (and time consuming). Other software programs have various options available to reach support from a chat feature, phone call, or FB group. I can look in any area and find what I need. It is easy to use and easy to teach. If your company uses all the aspects of the program, your life will be a breeze. Cons There is no notify owner/ vendor in work orders. There is no reminder system in place for over due work orders. I really don't see another product that could replace what we have and do a better job for us. September 19, 2018 5.0 Pros AppFolio is the property management software we use for the company I work for. It is very easy to use and has a lot of useful features. I mostly used it to input properties, edit profiles and monitor applicants for our rentals. One of the features I like the most is the "Key" feature which allows you to keep inventory of the types and quantities of keys for the properties. Authorized users can check out the keys and it keeps a record of who that person is for easy tracking. Cons Perhaps there is a way to do this that I'm unaware, however it would be great to be able to easily see larger images of the ones that have been uploaded for a property. It seems like the only way to see the larger images is by going to the property website on our company website. Review Source RS Rosie S. I am a owner operator of about 50 rental units. It has made running a this business easier and more efficient. Pros It has just been easy to use for me and my tenants. Also, appfolio seems to always be striving to improve their product. Cons None that I can think of. It just always seems to work well. Respond time is normally in a reasonable amount of time. Cons We have a large amount of residential properties owned by a single owner. I wish Appfolio automatically transferred funds between these properties when there is more money in one property than another. September 21, 2020 5.0 Inventory was never accounted for and would come up missing. We are in the process of putting our inventory in Appfolio so there is accountability when things come up missing. This is going to save us time for ordering and money for missing items that may be walking out the door. Pros So many ways to look something up such as name, address, phone, email, unit # etc. Their tutorial are great! Cons Can't delete a duplicate fixed asset or a duplicate vendor without have customer service take care of it. October 23, 2018 5.0 The best improvement I have ever made for my company and for my employee's. Pros This has changed several time intensive tasks. We do not any need to touch rent payments and the money is entered into our system and directly deposited in our bank. Rent collection has improved and feel will only get better as we sharpen our edges. Paying bills online has cut down on mistakes and saved us several steps in the process.
