Speed Script helps with this. Pros To be honest, I have been with Speed Script from the beginning of our business. This makes it tough to "compare" as I know very little of other systems. Yet the development team of Speed Script continues to add features and respond to "needs and wants" of not only our pharmacy, but all the pharmacies that they service - never giving me reason to look elsewhere. Customer service with them is above and beyond the normal. They have never failed to help us solve a problem. Pros I have worked with several systems at other stores and this is by far the easiest to use system. Cons The compounding part could use some improvements. It would be nice to have the ability to put notes in different places. Reason for choosing Speed Script Price/ease of use/options available and personnel that we worked with at the time. They are very helpful, customer service is great. If one person can't figure it out, someone will! Speedscript is always doing updates to improve the pharmacy workflow. I really like that if we have an idea for the computer or the POS system, we just throw it at them and they get it done. Cons Nothing that I can think of. Speedscript is very easy to work with. Pros Fastest prescription processing with the best service around! What more do you need!?! Cons We will just be going through “upgrade” in a few weeks. The younger employees had no problem at all and the older employees (+65) became efficient users very quickly. We have had Speed Script for 33 years and just added the POS system. We planned on starting in 2020 but postponed due to COVID until 2021. So glad we finally got the opportunity to use this. Cons Over the past 33 years we have had some issues with certain things in the Speed Script program, but the staff always made sure we got resolution. Take advantage of using all the features Speedscript has to offer. Cons Trying to find the right report to find the information you need has been a bit of a challenge.
