Pros: Quick support response to issues, willingness to build needed custom features, ability to design custom reports, easy to upgrade.

Cons: Does not follow standard Windows design - double clicking, tabbing etc is not standard to Windows. Often find bugs in releases not related to updated features causing users to have to use work arounds and/or complicated processes.

Overall: We had many initial struggles in the implementation of Route Coordinator - however, the vendor made many custom adjustments for us. It took us a long time to be stable on the product and develop processes that worked for us - but once we were stable, the product has met our needs.

Pros: Route Coordinator is an incredibly flexible tool for recording and scheduling trips. We've found it to be completely compatible with our needs, mainly because of the fantastic customer support and willingness of the development team to find solutions and not quote policies and procedures. Our application is similar in many ways to other individual trip operations, but has a few unique characteristics. These items created some challenges for applying the system to our needs, but the folks at Route Coordinator made it happen at every turn. The system is intuitive and easy to both understand and train our staff on. We use the graphical tools to drag and drop clients on vehicles, and then use the comprehensive reporting tools to understand what we have completed and what we have to do.

Cons: We don't have many cons for the system. The one item is the limitation on connecting with GPS system. Route Coordinator has one solution, but this isn't robust enough for our needs. They have begun to work on integrating a more robust GPS tracking tool as well, which will help us greatly. This is one thing we really appreciate about working with them, every time a challenge is presented, they look to work on improving their system while meeting our needs.

Overall: We firmly recommend Route Coordinator for any operation that needs to provide outstanding transportation service for clients going to multiple locations with limited vehicle resources.The tool is an incredible value, and the support that the team provides pays for itself many times over. We have no reservations when it comes to recommending Route Coordinator or implementing in additional operations.

Pros: Great customer support
Fairly easy to learn the basics

Cons: Too many steps when finalizing a ride, not able to enter and finalize at the same time.
Very time consuming to modify multiple rides, seems like there should be an easier way.
No direction when new features are added to the program, tabs show up without any direction on how to use them.
Not having the ability to create or filter reports, having to call customer support every time we want more information added to a report or need different information on one.
Would be very helpful to have a hard copy training manual or an online manual to utilize all the capabilities of the program.
Would recommend more training to follow up the original set up training, possibly an online course every 6-12 months where all users who wanted to could take part and learn more of the capabilities of the program and newly added features.

Overall: Good starter program for agencies that have basic transportation programs.
