Pros: The team at Foundation Source is very responsive. The software is ease to use and repeat grantmaking becomes a breeze.
Cons: Some things take too many clicks - and there can often be too many interfaces to deal with prior to doing what you want. Foundation Source might benefit from more simplification.
"Impactfully has helped create and maintain our foundation"
Overall: I have been using Foundation Source's Impactfully for 12 years now. As the only employee of a small family foundation, Impactfully is basically my coworker :). It helps me to stay focused on relationships and the rest of my work. I'm so grateful to our advisor for facilitating legal advice, tax questions and making sure our grants go out and are recorded smoothly.
Pros: Being able to look up potential grantees, initiate payments and keep our grants organized has made such a difference in how we operate. Approving tax filings is so easy and I feel confident when it's done.
Cons: No complaints! The interface has changed a few times, which is hard to get used to, but they are adding features that I end up using.
