Civil Engineer - Engineering Planner Maritime Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Dream tool for multi-project MS Outlook users" October 17, 2019 5.0 SimplyFile was so revolutionary that I've revised my workflow to work around it and with it, I managed to organize literally thousands of emails into the correct folders Pros \- a revolutionary Outlook add-on that enables the user to quickly move/copy an email or thread into a specific Outlook folder. It also enables quick search to navigate to a certain folder. - As a civil engineer who manages several projects simultaneously, Outlook folders are the best way to keep everything organized. With SimplyFile, you select single or multiple emails, click a keyboard shortcut, then the app will show a window that proposes where the emails should go. Hitting enter will send them directly. - The add-on scans your mailbox so that it can intuitively predict the folder in which an email should be moved/copied to. Cons \- Updating to newer versions requires purchasing a new license. - No new features have been added to V4 since my purchase in 2018 Review Source FR Frank R. October 19, 2024 4.0 I keep e-mails in the inbox until they are handled and then saves them and my response in an appropriate folder for later reference - that means I have over one hundred folders without Simplyfile saving to these folder would not be vialble. Pros Picks the right folder everytime and saves me time in the proces ;-) Cons Does not work on the Outlook version and on the Outlook web - TechHit really needs to fix this!!! Consultant Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "It's not worth it anymore - get QuickFile from Standss instead" May 17, 2022 4.0 I had been using the product for many years and provided feedback that was often incorporated into new upgrades. However, when I upgraded the last time, I found that I was paying an exorbitant subscription for a product that was not been developed and had no new features (assuming I was interested in them). I tried to get support (and the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]) to return me to the previous version, but he refused. He also refused to refund me for the current version, which I no longer wanted. Pros It does the job well, quickly and effortlessly. Cons It's a scam. The old version4 works about the same as the current version, but it's forcibly disabled when you upgrade and you can't go back to it. Review Source AH Atlee H. Partner Machinery Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Get your emails filed in not time flat!" September 17, 2021 5.0 Save hours of time and frustration filing emails to specific folders or jumping to various mailboxes and folders. Pros This is the absolute fastest and easiest way I have ever seen to get emails filed into the correct folder. No matter if you have 10 folders or 200, getting any email to the correct folder is only a few keystrokes and milliseconds away. Need to jump to a different folder? SimplyFile can help with that too! Just hit your shortcut key for that, type a few letters of the name and boom, you can be there. Just an utterly indispensable tool once you get used to it! Cons The only cons I can think of is that occasionally it will create an extra copy of an email, leaving one copy in the sent or drafts folder while another copy is filed in the correct folder. Evil Attorney Law Practice Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Truly Amazing Software - has extra time saver features you really need to make Outlook work for you." February 1, 2018 5.0 TIME! TIME! TIME! No more time wasted trying to organize my sent and received emails. This add-in makes organization feel like a play. Pros SimplyFile makes filing emails in Outlook incredibly easy. I can now stay organized and clear my inbox in a snap. With a click or two I can save an email to the correct client folder. In one simple operation I can send an email, move the original email to the correct folder, and also save a copy of my reply email to the same folder. So efficient. SimplyFile also allows me to easily "jump" to any Outlook folder, where I can review all outgoing emails which were saved there, as well as all of my replies. While some case management programs claims to assist you with organizing and saving your case-related emails, SimplyFile actually does it with style and ease. I have never found such an elegant solution. And if you are more hands-on, and perhaps rely on keyboard commands to work faster, it doesn't get any better \[or faster\] than this! Can you tell I am in love with this add-in? I am . They also offer QuickJump, which is equally brilliant, it allows you to "jump" to any Windows folder on your hard drive, bypassing the usual Windows File Explorer. No more drilling down to find a sub-folder. I can bypass the more cumbersome searching and clicking in my case manager and go directly to the folder by typing just a few letters of the folder name. Cons No cons. It just works. This add-in not only does exactly what it says it will do, but it includes other features I never knew I needed. I discovered "bonus features" which were saving me additional time within 30 minutes of installing the add-in. And after extensive use Outlook has yet to crash \[something that has happened often with a few other add-ins\]. Review Source DG David G. December 6, 2019 5.0 Love it, it is definitely one of those under-appreciated products. I have referred it to multiple clients. Pros Fabulous product that is absolutely essential for my daily use of Outlook. Even with the vast improvement of the search funtion I still prefer to use a structured folder set up. SimplyFile makes it extremely easy and saves me a lot of time and money. I would pay them more for this but don't tell them that :) Cons The only con and it is fairly minor is that when you get a new computer you can't export your settings but rather the system has to learn again. But to be fair it does do a scan which is mostly effective. Reason for choosing SimplyFile Simple to use, works wonderfully well, saves me a lot of time - is that enough reasons? Pros I love this product. SimplyFile allows me to maintain email filing systems that I would never bother with otherwise. In the past, this has meant a folder for every client (400+); currently, a folder for every employee. The purpose of filing is not to 'put in' but to 'get out'. Without SimplyFile, I would have a file "Employees" which I would have to trawl through to find specific emails. With SimplyFile, I can easily (oh, so easily) file outgoing and incoming emails to correct employee folder and I can find that folder simply - regardless of what I've called it. Cons Takes a little bit to understand how to use it and there's a bunch of features I've never used. Review Source Amber K. Paralegal Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Fantastic Filing System" June 28, 2018 4.0 Pros We've connected our SimplyFile to outlook and to Amicus Attorney. The app allows us to save emails in their associated folders that we can then access in outlook in the folders or in Amicus. Having it connected to Amicus means that we can access everyone in the firm's emails for a particular client in Amicus. Cons Sometimes the predicting feature doesn't work great. It can be frustrating when you file emails for a certain client all the time and the software still doesn't recognize which folder it should go in.
