Drawbacks - sure., but none that impacts business. It could be better at customization and needs more flexible reporting. As a SaaS product, uptime has been good. An intuitive system for the basic information. Has been a great help to me at the start of my business. I can see that as my business grows it can provide the software support I need. They also have a nice library of help topics that walk you through whatever you need to learn about. After learning along the way and figuring out the features of the program and how to properly use them, I must say this program is a fast learning program that has so many great features and potential to help organize and run an animal boarding, daycare, and grooming business. It's really easy to navigate through, I never have to spend a lot of time looking for one special area. The booking for clients is so easy. It's not difficult to train new employees how to use the system, everyone seems to catch on really fast, and the system gives me exactly what I need to get my work done easily. It keeps track of dogs, calculates the amount the client owes us, and is just great for organization. I would highly recommend to anyone. Customer Support is A+; Our new employee's find sometimes the system to be a bit overwhelming at first, but once they figure it out it is pretty easy! This one requires you to go back to several of other pages to be able to complete some of the tasks for one client/dog. Sometimes I can't even find what it is I am looking for. The problems are with ease of use, including choosing dates on your schedule, having to search again after you look at the pet notes to get back to your schedule for the day, things like that. Basically, you're made to press more buttons than it feels like you need to. But it certainly is a useful tool. December 17, 2016 4.0 Although I haven't used PetExec very much at my organization yet, I was trained with the rest of the employees on how to use it. Most of it seems fairly intuitive, but some things I definitely had to practice. The more I played around with the software, however, the easier it became to use. We really need our software to work better for us. We appreciate the upgrades, but being in 3 locations and having to log in and out is tedious, especially for me as the owner. June 7, 2017 5.0 Much more simple to keep things organized. Pros I love being able to leave notes for each individual dog so that all of the staff could look up theirs history. Cons I waned there to be options to keep track or multiple different kinds of prepaid packages for the dogs. For instance, when they had prepaid for 10 daycare days and 10 outdoor adventure days, we had to manually adjust one of them as the system would not use up one of each of the dog used 2 passes. Not only is this a good program for us, it's also very user friendly to our customers. That said, there are a few features that seem absent - for example, you can only pull a daycare dogs score card if they are currently scheduled or signed in to daycare.
