### "The ups and downs of Avimark"

I like this product and I think it's a good fit for our practice's needs. I don't think we are getting as much out of it as we could. It be great to have tech support from Avimark come to the practices every couple years at minimum to follow up and make sure we are using it to it's full potential.

Pros

I love how easily it integrates with our lab machines and our online pharmacy. I love the functionality of being able to have discharge sheets pre programed into it and pre programed drug labels.

Cons

I wish it integrated better with our lenovo touch screens. We are not currently using it with a cloud system ( though I would like to) but I've heard it has a hard time with this too. So we've been hesitant to try to make that change.

Awesome!!

Pros

I love how easy it is to use Avimark. I have used the customer service link a few times and they were extremely nice and helpful, However the need to use them is not very often as Avimark is so easy to navigate. With a few clicks you can add, delete and set up everything you need. I was trained on the software for literally a day and had it down. Like I said I love this software

Cons

There is not anything I do not like about the software.

Pros

I’m used to it, otherwise it is cumbersome to use. The process of imputing data is not unlike the original windows: archaic .

Cons

The interface has not been modernized nor have the various functions for 30 years. Technical support is cumbersome and tedious at best.

Pros

Integrations with other products such as online rx and scheduling, payment processing, signature capture, the constant improvements, listen to customer's needs, ease of use, customizable

Cons

I have been mostly pleased with AVImark. It was very easy to learn the basics. Customer support is generally helpful and easy to get someone on the phone.

Pros

Very easy to use and train new employees to use.

Cons

I find the estimates very difficult for employees to make and clients to interpret. Reports can also be difficult to retrieve information that I would like has a practice manager.

It is my understanding that AVImark was chosen because of it's price point.

Overall ok, but very frustrating at times when dealing with some functionalities

Pros

I like how easy it is to use once you know how to use it for primary functions of taking care of clients.

Cons

As the Manager, any functions in regards to reports, making changes to reminders or other details functions leave a undesirable taste in your mouth.

Pros

I used avimark daily at my old veterinary clinic, it took some getting used to but once I was trained I loved it, the refill medications feature was extremely useful, I also liked that appointments on the schedule were color coordinated, everything is easy to access and it keeps a tab of recent clients and patients, appointments were easy to schedule.

Cons

The system just looked a little dated, but that was just cosmetically, otherwise I really liked the system.

Paperless and in office conversation with the worklist are ideal.

Pros

Easy access to customer and patient information. Recently went paperless and now it is a time saver without physical charts. Very simple to transfer information to other practices and the client when needed.

Cons

Avimark is vey simple when you take your time to understand the process. The only downside would be having to send all of the file and not a specific item a client may ask for.

This has been a huge time saver and has increased the efficiency of our office. It has also created better record keeping for our clients/patients.

Pros

This system was brought in to replace our old paper style medical records. It has been a huge improvement for our business, allowing us to be more detailed, more accurate, and more profitable! It's easy to use and saves so much time for our employees.

Cons

I would love to see a new way/report for when products are running low in inventory. To my knowledge, you can only prepare order lists by manually selecting items that are low in stock. I would love to see that automated or if it's already a feature, to learn how to use it.

customer service and speed ( or perceived speed) of trying to resolve issues customer service often not helpful, or 'depends who you get' some features still clunky

Pros

I love how easy it is to use. It's pretty self explanatory and there's not too many special things you have to remember. There are short cuts that you can use too in order to cut time but they aren't things you need to know. The customer service is also great! They are usually super helpful and able to trouble shoot with you quickly over the phone or log in to see what's going on.

Cons

The updates or rebuilding things in the software can be time consuming and also depending on where you live you might have to start it at 5 or 6 am. It'd be nice if there was an option to do things on the weekends when the clinic is closed.

Support is excellent (though did take a hit when moved to the Covetrus website). Great when you figure out what works best. There are weird things that can't be customized here and there that make no sense and can really throw a wrench into your workflow plans.

Pros

Very customizable - if you know what you're doing and take the time, you can make this software do almost anything you want and work in the way that fits your hospital's workflow best.

Cons

It takes a lot of time and effort to optimize functionality. It feels impossible to ever really use it to the best of its ability. It would probably take a dedicated staff member with technical knowledge at least a month to figure that out.

I love how easy this software is to use!

Cons

It would be awesome if you were able to customize some of the layout so far as client information goes, among a few other suggestions I can make from using this program for 13 years and every day. Customer support is great with the exception of a few team members that I assume have less experience with the program. It would also be nice if there was support available more on the weekends.

Pros

Easy to learn and built in glossary speeds data entry. As others have mentioned there are network traffic issues but once we upgraded the server and switch the traffic issues vanished. Most clinics likely have not learned all the features and established good processes. Don't blame software for poor hospital protocols. One price for all the stations. Support is great but hardware problems can be frustrating to solve. Don't skimp on the server. Can be integrated with other services. And get a good network consultant. Our problems disappeared once we did. I expect the low reviews reflect trouble with the hospital network and hardware.

You can do reports, I use the inventory the most and it makes my life so much easier. I can work from home. This very important at this time with the Covid 19

Pros

Anyone can learn this program. Inventory management is great

Cons

I wish we had more choices in who can do what in the computer. There are areas that I do not want all employees to have aces
