On occasions that it goes down due to Internet issues we are doomed! :-) Pros It is quite simple... and the CUSTOMER SERVICE is awesome if you cannot figure it out! I have used other PMS and compared to those Avimark is defiantly the best. Pros Ease of use and reporting features. Overall a great system. Cons Sometimes slow. Can be slow during busy times. Pros Once you get the hang of it, this software is pretty easy to use. The way vet records are charted make them very easy to read and interpret. The help chat is awesome and I have always gotten a fast and courteous answer to my questions. Cons I don't find Avimark to be intuitive software so there is a learning curve. It would be wonderful if there were ways to customize the information that shows in the client/patient boxes. Also, there are some frusterating things, like why can't we email an estimate directly to a client from Avimark instead of saving to our server. Review Source LD Laurel D. Cons I feel the software is dated and difficult to use. If you need a report nine times out of ten you have to call customer support. The drug reporting to DEA is ridiculous, when regulations first came out in NC, Avimark was not even capable. Then I accidentally sent a erroneous report and Avimark tells me they have no way to send in a revised report!!!!! I have spend more time in the last year talking to support than the rest of my career put together. December 3, 2020 5.0 Pros What I appreciate the most is the ability for new team members to learn the software quickly and the ease of which you can obtain the data needed. I have been an advocate for this software for over 15 years. Cons I do not have any specific issues with the software. When I have issues customer support is able to help. We did have a rough spot for a time when Covetrus purchased as far as the technicians knowing the software, but now this has greatly improved. Cons the help feature doesn't work. Inventory tends to be off count no matter how many times it gets fixed. Hard to find certain features, when wanting to look up information or payment summaries. Cons This software can get somewhat confusing to use when you're looking for different documents or searching for things to put in the invoice/patient history. Some of the customer service representatives are not patient with our employees who are not technologically advanced. I have used other veterinary software programs in the past which were no where near as good as Avimark. This program is extremely user friendly and easy to navigate. It makes training new staff members with no experience a breeze. It's by far my most favorite software. Pros super easy to use, easy to navigate, integrates well with other programs, great customer service, affordable Cons not enough color coding options within patient accounts. Pros A program that makes the animal hospital better appropriated for appointments and surgery's as well as keeping detailed data of all clients and products. Cons This software had so many hugs. We recently became a vca corporate hospital, and prior to this we used avimark. Every day we'd need to call customer support because of server issues and other bugs, but even then, customer service wouldn't be of much help. They'd fix the issue for the day, maybe and then the problems would arrive again. Big circles of issue. Review Source GB Grace B. Once you learn the software it is very easy to navigate and use. I do also like the fact that we have our Antech integrated with Avimark, that has been a big help. Cons We have had some some problems lately with it being very slow, and when we called support the person I spoke with was very rude and not at all helpful. Pros everything is grouped together in the record really nice. .there are many keyboard short cuts that allow really fast movement within the software. I never experienced any lag or crashing and customer support was very knowledgeable. Everything is really easy to find and can access almost all the important stuff in one screen. You can customize this product in many ways. Cons AVImark is expensive to purchase and you must have a server and technical support. Also in some cases there are too many options for customizing the software. It makes it more complicated.
