### "Nice software - Great support"

Staff coming from other packages have stated that this software has made them more efficient and love using it.

Pros

We support this application for our client. The software works well. Rarely do we have issues. When we have had an issue, your support team not only fixed it but was competent and knowledgeable enough to tell us what was going on. We have no worries using Avimark knowing we have a great support team to back us up.

Cons

From a technology support standpoint, the only thing I would love to see is a type of logging that could allow us to see/read what is happening. When we hear "this was supposed to do this other thing" we could see a log to see what steps were taken. Not critical though.

Easy to use for new employees, easy to make changes and finding videos online to help walk through the any changes and easy to get in contact directly with Avimark

Cons

sometimes it crashes...usually after an update...otherwise one of the most complete and easy to use software products used

Pros

It is easy to use and teach. Offers alot of functions and short cuts to make using the software much easier. Training new staff is also an easy phase in.

Cons

Freezes sometimes, has issues connecting with our network often.

Pros

Avimark is a very user friendly software that is quite customizable for each practice and additionally for each user within each practice.

Cons

With every update there are some cons, and we have noticed it's not as customizable/changeable in the set reminder department as it used to be.

Pros

I love the customer support and the on-line tutorials. I don't think the program is necessary intuitive, but easy to maneuver once training has taken place. We also utilize and appreciate the historical data.

Cons

Training manual is hard to follow - hence why we always call support.

It is super user-friendly! The support team is great!! It offers so much within the program. I can get almost all my reports done through it that i need.

Cons

There hasn't been much i don't like and after 20 years of using it, it just keeps updating to make it even better.

When it works, it's great, but if it doesn't work, you're not gonna get much help to fix it.

Pros

It is fairly user friendly, and easy to train new staff

Cons

When there is an issue, which is mostly daily, you can't get a support tech to help you, or the answer is wrong and you have to call several times.

Overall it has functioned well enough to meet our current needs, just wish it had less errors and looked a bit newer.

Pros

Easy to use, has a lot of features, support is easy to talk to.

Cons

Software is really buggy at times and throws a lot of error codes, appearance looks aged compared to other PIMS systems.

I like that it is easy to teach to new employees, I learn new shortcuts every day that makes my job a little easier.

Cons

being able to email Rabies certificated directly from avimark would be helpful and a body chart for marking masses just like the dental map would be helpful.

I feel it works well for our current business needs. We are strictly an ambulatory service. I would be interested to see how it functions in a small animal office.

Pros

Seem user friendly enough. I did not have any formal training, just jumped right in. I was previously using triple crown. The daily functionality suits our practice fine

Cons

Forms are more difficult to use. Inventory is likely great but it can get a bit confusing or technically difficult to make changes

Pros

Very easy to use and understand. The calendar is easy to use. I like where I can look at appointments from home.

Cons

A new manual should be sent to long term clients so they can use the software better.

Scheduling, transactions, and follow-up.

Cons

Wish I could open multiple windows. For instance someone getting services and paying for multiple pets on multiple accounts.

Avimark is easy to use and is convenient in many aspects. It helps keep inventory vaccines sorted out.

Pros

The software is easy to navigate and use. Changes can easily be made and if problems arise the customer service team is phenomenal.

Cons

Stopping certain reminders is difficult to figure out.

Cons

The lack of tutorials to quickly learn how to navigate. We have call support, but it doesn't help me learn how to use the programs

Credit card machine, Care Credit is run through Avimark making it easier for check out.

Cons

It takes a while to know what all features Avimark has to offer. Once you know them, it makes it easy to navigate through, but it does take a while to learn the system.

I have been an Avimark user for 19 years. I placed money in developing / customizing the program. As I grow the program becomes slower and slower. Being so vested I feel stocked. When I ask fir help their answer is: "that is the way it is".

Pros

Familiarity with of the "tab" environment. Program used to suffice my needs. However they lack vision.

Cons

Clunky, sloooow. Lots of steps to document, post, charge, view, substract inventory. Unable ro troubleshoot with their support structure.
