Pros

Friendly User. Easy to tract missed notes, the report gives the total picture of the business. The monthly fee really worth

Cons

It is best if they upgrade the balance of co-share. Some of our patient is not paying their co-insurance, it is best if they will include the balance of co-share in payment portion

Pros

The ease of scheduling with the appointment reminders! Our patients love that feature! It would be great if you would set it up so that patients could respond to the text reminders. Ex: Respond "1" To confirm "2" To cancel.

Cons

There has been quite a few glitches lately or "RUH ROH" down time that has made our work days a little challenging.

Overall the software is decent. I feel there are some areas they could improve, but based on the availability of other software (specific to rehabilitation) this is the best option for the price with no contract and unlimited free upgrades.

Pros

They have awesome customer service! They keep their software up to date and are constantly making changes to improving their system. They have awesome provider & biller education articles, keeping me up to date with current industry requirements.

Cons

WebPT's system takes forever to save, especially when doing documentation. Because you have to save any time you do anything it makes simple tasks take longer than necessary. A quick autosave feature would be nice. WebPT's system could be more user friendly. With data entry you're constantly clicking having to switch from keyboard to mouse several times. It would be nice if they had keyboard shortcuts (ie 'alt' 'tab'). A lot of the improvements that could be made in WebPT are small things, but things that would make it using the software more efficient.

Pros

Very detailed charting with customization. Easy to fax snd upload documents with additional fee. Software updated with current information.

Cons

Constant mis billing and price hikes after less than a year. Difficult to get things resolved either via phone or email. I would not recommend for small businesses and recently switched to another.

Pros

WebPT is so user friendly. I am able to provide reports to my boss and billing reports so fast and easy. I am most impressed with the support staff. I have yet to call and not get the help I needed when I needed it and by someone that was easy to understand and who I felt completely understood my question. Having spent my career in customer service I find it so rare and refreshing to find a company whose employees truly "get" customer service. After all, customer service is the one thing that can't be automated.Thank You WebPT!

Cons

I really can't think of anything I don't like. Perhaps being able to pull all patients associated with a particular doctor would be helpful sometimes, but that's all I can add at this time.

Pros

Cons

Currently in the works to eliminate the need of integration with a separate billing software for in-house billing.

Everything we had to do in the software several clicks to do the simplest task. Entering in a patient takes 10 screens to enter in all the information, too many clicks. Scheduling was easy, but getting detailed information about a patient takes several clicks. The layouts of many of the screens is not efficient. None of the reports help manage the business going forward. If you do have a suggestion for a change you may enter it into their suggestion pool with the other 300+ suggestions and hope one day your request may be put into the system. My success rep never returned my calls, she would sometimes call me back 3 days later. The help desk is excellent. Training was overall pretty basic. They did not prepare us well for our first days/weeks. Documentation is slightly better than what we were using. The biggest complaint is reviewing a note and then trying to fix an error. You have to keep going back and forth which is tedious and time consuming. It's very confusing with all the addendums, and if the notes were correct or not and if they got billed or not. No built in billing system - big downfall. Our last system had everything built in. Cash register, so we could directly update our patient accounts with their payments. We went to Webpt billing and I have the biggest A/R I have had in the 16 years we have been in business. I have sent them notes, spreadsheets, etc and they haven't updated anything. Seven pages of invoices of which most of the patients don't owe anything on their accounts.

We are a billing service and one if out PT clients use WebPT. It makes our job so much easier when we can find the information we need quickly, without having to search in multiple places.

Pros

It was already set up when we started using it for one of our Providers. There was essentially NO training time. I was able to just log on and find what I needed pretty easily. We don’t add information to the system, we only retrieve what’s already on there but there’s never any problem finding anything or things being in the wrong place. From what our Provider says, that’s because it’s user friendly on their end, as well.

Cons

There is one thing that is slightly inconvenient. When searching our patients, we have to type In their full name exactly how it was put in the system, or it won’t come up. No short cuts and no list of “kind of the same” to choose from.

Pros

I like the reminder call, text, and email function makes patients more aware of their appointments. The program will also remind you to collect co-pays and tracks the payments in the system.

Cons

The exercise program function is hard to use and confusing but if you spend some time experimenting with it you will figure it out

Lack of an API or custom integrations. Hopefully this will become available in the coming year so I can further customize the experience.

Hmmmmm...

Pros

Does a pretty good job of creating a clean claim with all the modifiers, proper Medicare FLR coding, proper Diagnosis codes, etc..

Cons

LOTS of clicks to do what should take 1 or 2, clumsy, slow to load, not intelligent but rather archaic, and last but certainly NOT LEAST is the MASSIVE billing dysfunction between a non-integrated WebPT and TheraBill. DO NOT USE THIS COMBINATION OF BILLING, outsource it if you must.

Web PT has so many great features and is always updating based on new and current rules and regulations. I love that it tells you to survive check something (mostly with Medicare) before you close your note to make sure there are no mistakes.

Pros

Cons

I haven't been able to design a McKenzie type evaluation true to the paper form.

Overall it streamlines communication with our billing service. They can see the daily documentation without us having to send them anything.

Pros

I had no one to show me how to use this software when I started at my current job. The customer service folks were all wonderful. Now I can’t imagine using any other software.

Cons

There are a few times when it’s difficult to get on or that It is down for maintenance. I do my documentation at odd hours so sometimes this is an issue for me.

That it's web based so we can use it anywhere.

We have been using WebPT for a little over a year now. We are very pleased with our choice. The implementation process was a breeze. I had many questions along the way and for several months after implementation. Customer service was wonderful. I have told them many times how pleased I am with their customer service. No matter how many times I asked for help they were happy to oblige. Prior to WebPT, one of our therapists' documentation was very short and probably would not have been compliant with Medicare. With WebPT, we can be sure that all of the documentation is thorough and complete. There are check systems in place to ensure that nothing is missed in regards to Medicare, PQRS, and soon to come FLR. In speaking with the therapists, they indicate that the reporting isn't much different or more time consuming than paper documentation. The only dislike I have with WebPT is the appointment reminders. We have had a few issues with this part of the system. Sometimes it will show the reminder is still pending on the day of the appointment. Patient's state that they did receive their reminder, but we are not positive unless asking the patient. Other times, they state they never received the reminder. WebPT always has great webinars on all sorts of topics. You can view them at later times if you are not able to attend. Their knowledge base is also very helpful. I like to scroll through and check out different topics for new info.

With the new price increase I'm unsure if WebPT is still worth the money.

Pros

I love that WebPT has a lot of features integrated into the system and that it takes me a fraction of the time to write notes than it did when I had to write them by hand at a previous clinic.

Cons

WebPT has outdated tests for SLPs, I've had clients who were unable to access their records through the system, and I've had other clinics who didn't receive full Taxes from the system.

I like the fact that WebPT is always up to date with the most recent rules and regulations. Also, the free webinars are a plus, too.

Cons

I love the software. The only thing that is too time consuming is the flowsheet. It takes a long time for our PTs to document them so we use our own.

Now they have pricing that bundles all of their services. I don't want all of the extras, I just want the basics. I chose to not use edocs and now all of the edocs I have stored in patient files since 2008 is not accessible !!!

At first I was worried about going EMR, but WebPT made the transition very easy! The communication when we do have an issue or question is very fast and convenient. WebPT is also update with Medicare and Medicaid changes which helps keep out documentation accurate and free of errors. Thank you WebPT!
