You'll be able to track and trace requirements across the lifecycle, reuse then when it makes sense, and get approvals easily. Plus, Helix RM can create a requirements traceability matrix in minutes. That makes it easy to know which requirements are tied to other requirements (or issues, test cases, etc.) Helix RM can be used with Helix IM and Helix TCM for total ALM.

Pros: Covers the whole range of needed applications without having to put together multiple tools with version and vendor hassles.

Levels of workflow automation and flexibility lets you go about anything with what ever level of security, electronic signatures, etc. you desire.

Cons: Word processing functions could be improved to be easier and more up to date.

Interfaces to automated testing tools could be enhanced.

Overall: As a consulting group, we have used it with numerous clients and set up systems that we could hand off for their full life cycle management.

It works very well, is "insanely" configurable, and easy to validate.
