We can opt 6 digit code which we can use while loggin on different sites. -Best UI -Ease of use -Best mobile app -SSO cab be achievable easily -If we try to access application which is stated at intranet then instead of code we can get push notification as well where we have enrolled symantec vip. -we can use this for scanning qr codes and securely save your backup password in wallet. Cons cost is high compare to other competetiors at market. Process for enrolment is long and confusing that should be easy and user can setup initial things quickly. If your device got lost where you have installed this then there is process of deresgistering and then again follow the same process. Cons If you lose your device, the process to unlink the old device and then registering a new device can be tricky - but after following the helpful guides on their website, it was a breeze. Pros Best mobile application and very easy for use for beginners as well as for non technical guys too. Mobile UI and accessibility is it five star service and we can relay on it fully. In our organization we can access intranet application using Symantec and which is best thing happened with us. It is very helpful and trustworthy. Cons Process for registering credential ID at first time. It is bit confusing and user has to enter ID which is exist in application. I've experienced zero bugs with both the desktop version and IOS version with my physicians. Takes 2 minutes to setup and start working. Cons I wish it had an 'Always on top" function or a minimized function with the rotating VIP code. Our doctors use this all the time and have to tab back over or park it in a 2nd monitor, which is an extra click every time they send controlled substances using its 2 factor. With this I am sure noone can access most of my data outside of the office. Pros Simplicity and effectiveness. It is easy to understand how to use it with simple instructions, doesn't take up time to configure. It is simple to use on your PC or phone. Cons It makes thing hard when it comes to changing accounts, especially if using a token. If you change your account but have forgotten to log in and delete the existing link to the token, the token basically becomes useless.... This allows me to securely access applications and documents from home. Our organization allows a "push" notification for logging in with this software. I can just type "push" and Symantec alerts me to provide my fingerprint on my phone to grant me access to whatever I am needing. Sometimes I still need to use the code feature but that is easy and all I have to do is tap and hold on the generated code to copy it to my clipboard. Cons I can't think of any cons to this software. I have heard feedback from others in my organization that they do not have enough time to get the code and use it before a new code is displayed. Feedback from Symantec, however, verified that the codes are good for longer than the display period on the screen (2-3 minutes I believe). Due to increasing drug abuse and prescription forging, Symantec VIP helps to prevent medication abuse through secure prescribing. Cons Generates a series of security keys that are used with the users username, these keys are newly generated every 60 seconds, and if the user is too slow at inputting their info, the key changes and may delay prescribing. I've never had an issue copying the code from my phone, I find the allotted 30 seconds to be plenty of time. It was fairly easy to set up and I've had no issues using it since my first day. Cons It does require you to have access to your phone -- sometimes I worry that I will forget my device and that will cause an issue for access. The timer only gives you 30 seconds to copy the six digit authentication code, but that's not an issue for me.
