Highly recommend. Pros Unlike other softwars, icims is way simpler and it doesn't have a long unwanted for questions making it very easy for the candidates to apply for jobs. The average time to apply for job via icims is very less thus making it easy to use. Also I love the insights it provides for people recruiting Cons Nothing that I can think. however it would be great to be able to generate dashboards via integration with other visualization tools like Qlik with just clicks rather than having write codes. Pros I love the ability to customize the system and build reports and login groups to streamline our hiring process. Cons At this time I have nothing to list about my dislikes of the Icims software. I found the system to be robust and a large portion of the time fairly easy to use. Training videos are a must for anything beyond basic usage. Pros The system is malleable enough to adjust to different process flows and offers enough "free fields" to allow for companies to track unique needs in handling data. Plenty of notes fields and calendar integration. Web based so it's portable and can be used by traveling hiring managers. Handling of resumes in the system is fast and efficient. Cons The reporting function can be cumbersome because you have to know what every field IS and what it is named, and what it does, to make an accurate report. Field Titles sometimes don't make sense. You will often contact your Account Manager and find out they're no longer your Account Manager as they point you to someone else for assistance. The Account Managers aren't the most responsive either. Pros The iCIMS NOW platform has all the functions you need and works well for a relatively low price point. Technical Support is very knowledgeable and helpful. Cons They have discontinued the iCIMS NOW platform and are only offering the iCIMS Recruit platform, which has more features but at over double the cost. Review Source DC David C. When we have a last minute request their campaign feature is an amazing and easy way to communicate with a large number of applicants in a very quick manner. Pros TextRecruit is so easy to use that even my technology-averse employees find it easy. It's such an easy way to communicate applicants. Cons There aren't many cons to TextRecruit. If I had to say something, I have had a few times that the messages wouldn't send. Maybe twice in the 9 months we have been using it. But it resolved itself within a few hours. Used the software for: ### "" April 18, 2013 4.0 TMR, Inc. is a government contractor in the Washington, DC metro area providing an assorted of IT services to the federal government. This is TMR's first on line recruiting system and we plan to go live on April 22, 2013. Before then, recruiting documentation was manual and laborious, though administratively consistent. We looked at two other on line systems including iCIMS and made the decision to purchase the iCIMS product because the overall system met our needs; the technology was state of the art and continually progressive; the customer service and training contained multiple layers of information and timeliness; the price was within budget and the we liked Nick Emlen, the initial representative from iCIMS we met. Our initial experience with Nick was clear and consistently professional. We wanted a system that paralleled our recruiting process at least 80% and iCIMS met this requirement. TMR also bought the JobMagic product which feeds all the social media sites and from everything we have seen so far it is indeed magic, technically awesome and benefits our current and future needs. We know this system will increase our recruiting productivity and delete a magnitude of administrative work. Lisa Yee is our implementation manager and meeting with her weekly to review and learn each phase of the product was more than delightful. We would leave the meeting with a feeling of accomplishment, good faith, and continued justification that we made the right decision with the iCIMS product. Initially she provided us a time frame for meetings with a set implementation date and we are right on target. It might a little over priced and not be as user friendly as some competitors like Workday. Pros Icims is well trusted by large companies for being able to provide custom recruiting software. They have the ability to solve very complex workflow and thus help companies automate process that used to be quite manual. With this they great features like automated requisition approvals making it easy for users. icims is ideal for larger companies with every complex internal process and structures. Pros iCIMS is a software that really streamlines and simplifies the process of hiring. I have used this product to easily find the best candidates for my business. Everything you need to use is shown on the homepage and it is easy to navigate through resumes and applications. All of the paperwork that is needed to be completed on both ends of the hiring process is clearly shown as well. Cons iCIMS is easy to use but it would be nice if the interface was updated with a bit more modern look and feel. Small complaint though! Even with the limitations we have run into it still provides a very comprehensive solution. Pros It is a very comprehensive software. It provides all of the basic functions needed. Cons Sometimes it is so complex it cannot do basic functions. It is really designed for a single hire at a time, not bulk hiring of a single position. Working closely with our team at iCIMS was very important in the success of our implementation and customization processes, so maintaining close working relationships with your Implementation Manager and Customer Success Manager are also critically important. Cons iCIMS ATS as a whole is not an intuitive software company. It takes time to learn the ropes and things are not user-friendly. Sr. Manager Used the software for: ### "iCIMS Talent Platform - Great technology, great people, my process!@@" November 21, 2011 4.0 I think iCIMS is a great purchase if you are looking to buy an ATS that is built and focused upon being an ATS. Lots of other products in the market for social networking, HRIS, addons...but they all have lost sight of being a best in class recruiting tool. Pros Our Project Manager, Karen, did a great job tailoring the process and timeline to my needs, she did a ton of work that I needed help with, and she got us up an running before our expected go live date. Not only did she do a great job, she made me and my department look awesome to the company as a whole. So far I have had zero resumes make it into the system that were not tagged with a source. I have had 15 referrals come in from the share and socialize buttons. I have had great results from the social product add-ons as well, 10 applicants via facebook and twitter. I have also sped up the process of getting a requisition approved by nearly 2 days time while saving myself the time of filling out requisitions for our hiring managers. We are also using the onboarding portal, which has lead to a much higher degree of accuracy regarding paperwork PRIOR to start date. The onboarding portal allows our entire HR team to view what is complete or still needed. Cons iFORMS have a recurring monthly cost on the onboarding solution.
