Pros

There are plenty of options. Lots of functionality and the reporting is top notch.

Cons

Nothing in iCIMS is easy. I would consider these robust platforms but if hadn't worked with a "real" ATS you will have to sit and play with it for a while.

### "ICIMS puts the talent in your worksforce"

I was on the team that chose ICIMS and implemented the program. They were very helpful and offered training both onsite and off site

Pros

It is such a customizable software for the cost. We have a seasonal work force of 1200 and have to rehire and hire them each year.

Cons

It is so detailed in the back ground and the administrator can make many changes without fully understanding their impact

Pros

It is being used across the enterprise to manage goals and performance reviews. It allows employees and managers to easily and securely create and share goals, and to collaborate on individual employee performance. And Customer support is best!!

Cons

It is little bit expensive and in some cases it works slowly. And the interface is old-fashioned, i think they have to do some improvements. BTW it is very useful and helpful app

Overall, I am very please with the tool thus far.

Pros

Ease of use, customizable, integrates with ADP payroll, as well as background check companies. Also has onboarding module. Excellent reporting capabilities and integrated scheduling tool.

Cons

User interface is a little clunky and could be updated. I also would like to see the ability to assign competencies to jobs and interviewers and have a more user friendly interview feedback tool.

We utilized icims for over 5 years and could not wait to get out of the contract at the end. The system is cumbersome and the customer service is lacking in all the areas that matter.

Pros

It was easy to transition candidates from the recruiting side of the software to the onboarding side.

Cons

The wait for updates to custom iforms was 20 business days!

Pros

Our team used iCIMS to recruit new employees from all over the US, and the platform made it easy to do so. The best thing about iCIMS is the customer service. Our team had frequent conference calls with our account manager, who was most helpful in getting us the most out of the platform.

Cons

Much like other software, there is a learning curve associated with using iCIMS. Give yourself and your team some time to understand the platform before diving in.

Improved candidate experience, easy way for our team to connect with candidates that may not be active on email, ability to text silver medalist candidates, and alternate uses to text groups (like a group of interns).

Pros

Ability to have quick back-and-forth conversations with recruiters. Makes for a strong candidate experience when the candidates engage.

Cons

The reporting capabilities are not good. Also, we've had some "glitches" in the process, and it's been challenging to figure out where the misses are. Therefore, it's a heavy amount of trial and error.

I use the iCIMS tool frequently in my role as an account manager at a staffing company. While my company itself doesn't utilize iCIMS, one of my major clients uses the tool for all candidate submissions to job requirements. I've been using the tool for about 6 months and can say that it is not the easiest tool to use. I much prefer the tool that my company uses internally, Bullhorn.

Pros

I like that iCIMS allows me to make candidate profiles within the system and submit the candidate to multiple job requirements without having to re-enter any information. This has the potential to be a big time saver for companies that often submit the same candidate to multiple requisitions.

Cons

The interface could definitely undergo a makeover; while functional, iCIMS is not interesting to look at whatsoever. I have also found that it can be a bit of a pain to enter information about candidates to the extent that iCIMS requires. For example, to make a candidate profile, you need to have the correct address and phone number of a candidate. While we usually have the phone number on hand, I usually have to hound people to give me their address quickly so I can submit them in a timely manner.

Pros

It is easy to add candidates and track emails.

Cons

I like the vendor and customization that the client has. Here are a some of my pains. -If I go to a specific job, click workflow, click candidate, no edit contact information. I have to then click on the name for another set of tabs to open up to edit. Depending on if they are nested or not, the tabs change. -Parsed LinkedIn resume rarely will pull the first and last name into the fields. -If I click through the next, next, next, finish too quickly (when adding a LinkedIn profile/candidate), it gets lost in cyberspace/doesn't add.

My overall experience with iCIMS was painless. The product is very simple to use if you've worked with other recruiting programs.

Pros

iCIMS Recruit has a ton of info for the recruiters via the dashboard and reports and it's very easy to use for the applicants.

Cons

The software looks a little like all the other recruiting software. I just only wish it looked a little more modern or different from all the other recruiting programs.

I love the ability to integrate with an ATS system, import candidates, and pre-schedule text messages.

Cons

The mapping, when importing. I liked it when previously I was able to import an Excel doc and the First/Last Names were separated for me. Now, I have to create a whole new column and list the Last Name.

Pros

Able to craft a creative message that results in a higher response rate from those applicants who are passive and not necessarily looking for a job - which is often in today's employee-market. The best applicants aren't necessarily looking for a new job so these are the ones we want to speak with.

Cons

Not the software's fault but it's hard to get passive applicant's mobile numbers. Set up was a bit confusing and the cost of full integration with iCIMS has been prohibitive which make it more cumbersome to track which candidates have already been contacted - this a lot of record keeping. ICIMS charges for integration which seems costly.

Icims is fairly easy to use. There are not many difficult functions and are easy to learn. Connection with ADP is also helpful.

Cons

The implementation take a bit of a time. There are a lot of trainings to take for the implementation.

I thoroughly enjoy iCIMS. iCIMS is customizable to your organizations needs. Easy to use platform. The customer services is AMAZING.

Cons

The only con I have is that you aren't able to create email groups to make it easy to send an email to your team without adding each in as a recipient. The reporting was also difficult at first, but after I went to their training- much easier!

Pros

This software makes the recruiting and job application process more streamlined, especially if multiple companies use the software, your information is saved and can makes the applying process more easy. The UI is simple and smooth.

Cons

The resume importing feature is not as effective as it could be, sometimes the job titles, dates, or other things the software interprets from the resume into the application is wrong and therefore it is still necessary to manually import information.

Reduced the need to manually enter paper applications. We now have an import that pushes into our HRIS. iCIMS provides a consistent way for us to recruit, hire, and onboard candidates.

Pros

Easy to use and as a customer we can customize many features.

Cons

Two sides is tricky...Recruiting Workflow and Onboarding. However, once you understand the two sides, it's easier to navigate.

### "A good CRM with a fatal flaw"

Pros

I love the LinkedIn integration page built right into the candidates profile. Also the interface is laid out very nicely, and the software is intuitive and easy to use once the initial learning process is accomplished.

Cons

The fatal flaw of iCIMS is the emailing. Whenever you send an email, it comes from an iCIMS email address with a long string of random numbers and letters, e.g. networksearch-14kls-5l6l@agents.icims.com. This is not ok! We can't have our candidates receiving a "personal" email from an address like that. All of the other CRM and ATS systems I've looked into allow the emails to be sent either through your own server or be masked to appear that they came from your personal address. This one flaw makes iCIMS unusable for our firm.

I would like to look back at text I sent out immediately just to make sure I have sent it out. We work in a very fast paced environment and sometimes need to double check
