### "ARC GIS for college courses on mappin"

Pros

Used ArcGIS for mapping purposes for a college course and learned a ton about GPS technologies. So many features to learn that are useful in many capacities

Cons

Hard to learn, but this is expected given robust nature of the software

Pros

ArcGIS is taught in many workshops at NYU, and is very easily accessible by students. Therefore what I like best is it's accessibility and ease of use for new users.

Cons

I have not used ArcGIS enough to comment on what does not work on the software. So far so good, hope to use it for more projects.

Pros

1\. In its latest version, ArcGIS Pro, is more intuitive, the graphical interface is better, this better integrated, easier to reach the tools.

Cons

1\. It is necessary to be connected to the internet to use the base maps, possibly this is a disadvantage. 2. You need a machine that has a large memory and processing capacity to handle large volumes of data.
