Used the software for: ### "Maptitude is the Best for Ease of Use and Affordability" May 29, 2016 5.0 I have used Maptitude exclusively in my 20+ years in health/hospital planning. It has been indispensable in my work. Mapping data oftentimes tells the story in a way other modes can't do. I was very excited at the prospect of being able to make custom maps efficiently with all the 'virtual' cartographic tools a health planner would need. Maptitude exceeded my expectations in both the product and the quality of support offered. If you know nothing about GIS and its power, and even if you do, the training is worth the money and effort. The visual are awesome, and it's fairly easy to learn the software. Customer support is always prompt to fix a problem, and the support in getting help online is great. My company purchased it as a major upgrade to the discontinued Microsoft MapPoint. After discovering how much easier it is to accomplish what I did in MapPoint using Maptitude, I am discovering uses for it that were not considered during the time of purchase. My GIS professor prefers it to any other GIS software and is never shy in pointing out where it shines in comparison to the competition. It is much more reasonably priced as well!
