Pros

DSM is easy to use and the support from their team is impeccable! We are a small theatre in Orlando and I'm certain DSM is going to help us grow. Our clients love the ease of use!

I tried some other software products first and actually we had been using an old program on our PC. While I can't speak for the other products I just found this one was very easy for us to figure out what to do. And we needed a few changes because we have a strange discount program and we were very pleased with the way they integrated our special discounts into their program. Overall, I'm very happy so far and hopefully all will go well.

### "Terrible experience with online registration, POOR customer service response"

Having student data compiled and being able to communicate more easily with parents

Pros

The back-end is easy enough to use and I it's better than using excel. It was easy to set up and my staff was able to get used to it easily.

Cons

The online registration is incredibly problematic and buggy, messages to users are tiny and confusing, over 50 people thought they had registered but had not, which I didn't find out until the classes were already full so they ended up double booked. There were so many other problems I can't even recount them all. Response from customer service was to get annoyed with my multiple emails and tell me "most clients just use it as is," then they stopped trying to fix any of the issues.

It was good for our purposes, for awhile. We outgrew the program.

Pros

Dance studio manager is very Easy for managing classes and students. Making a slight alteration was very easy.

Cons

The billing functions are horrible. Statements are not user friendly. It is very difficult to Interpret payments and charges.

Ok in some areas but very frustrating in others

Pros

It was the most inexpensive of its kind and a pretty good one for first time users

Cons

It had a lot of pre-sets you can’t change to suit your business. So if what you’re doing matches their system it works, but you can’t really add or change things to fit your business

### "DSM Review "

Overall, my experience with DSM was not great. We were able to make it do what we needed, but it required a lot of effort and time. DSM would be okay for a small company that doesn't need it to do much, but it is not an optimal program.

Pros

This product allowed us to keep all of our accounts and families in one place. It was pretty basic and easy to understand and use.

Cons

The software is very basic, so it does not offer many features at all and as a result we ended up having to do most things manually. It was very time consuming and required a lot of effort on our part that would have been better used elsewhere. If DSM had online e-payment features, that would be a big improvement. DSM also didn't filter families and classes very well and was awkward to use for discounts. It was also very hard to change any settings whatsoever and contacting the company was complicated.

Ease of searching family members, and account details.

Cons

It was difficult to create new classes, send emails to students in specific classes and generally make changes to the what we had originally set-up.

My overall experience with DSM was okay. Not bad, but not amazing.

Pros

The ability to track payments, check class schedule/location and take attendance.

Cons

It was a bit confusing to navigate. When it came to payments, it was not always clear where and how to input payments to adjust balance for that client and for proper record keeping. A lot of steps to remember when entering info. The mobile site was kinda glitchy (not allowing you to scroll sometimes, attendance pages looking cut-off/weird, etc.)
