Like I said, it was fine at first for just getting started. The onboarding was good- helpful for sure. But after that I felt like I was on my own.

Pros

This was my first EMR system for my own business. I was excited at first because it seemed very high tech. It was good for getting started, but as I added services it wasn't quite up to what I needed.

Cons

It was very frustrating when I had a problem. I could never talk first hand (or even chat) with someone. I would have to submit a ticket, wait for a response, and go back and forth with them that way. It would sometimes take DAYS to resolve an issue.

### "Aesthetics Pro is the way to go"

It was difficult for us to switch to AP, but after all everything worked out, we are up and running. We feel like we made the right choice.

Pros

AP is user friendly, affordable, and customer service is excellent. We also appreciate that AP is constantly working on making the software better. Furthermore, it's nice that AP regularly checks up on us to make sure that we are okay. Last but not least, the contemporary features like the patient portal that come with AP are very important for us to stay competitive.

Cons

1.Picture uploads could be easier. 2. It would be great if we could make changes to an invoice on a later day if needed. 3. The commission structure to be more flexible. We pay commission on net profit. That option is not available in AP. 4. It would be nice if we could scan our forms into AP instead of building them from scratch.

So far I've been enjoying AestheticsPro and all the touch points that they make to ensure the onboarding process is as smooth as can be with ongoing customer support.

Pros

I appreciate how straight forward and complex free AestheticsPro is making it a faster and smoother process to schedule patients and have them be stress-free when it comes to filling out intake forms/consent forms.

Cons

So far I don't have a feature that I don't like the "least" however being able to add a tag to patient photos to then be able to be searched based on service type for marketing purposes would be amazing.

Cons

Possibly you guys can limit the number of clicks to get to certain topics. Also, if you are imputing prices for products and services to have a tab for taxes right there instead of going back to the admin menu to find the taxes tab.

Excellent. Wish I didn’t waste time on Aesthetics Record. This is light years ahead of that. I was booking through my website and their Book Now feature made it such a cleaner more polished and professional booking experience for my clients.

Pros

I’ve been using Aesthetics Pro and can confidently say their customer support is top-notch—quick, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated. The “Book Now” portal is absolute perfection—simple, clean, and professional. I’ve tried less expensive EMR options before, but this is one of those cases where you truly get what you pay for. Aesthetics Pro is incredibly intuitive, reliable, and thoughtfully designed. Honestly, I’m surprised it doesn’t cost more for what it delivers. The support alone is worth every penny—it’s a tremendous value for the price.

Cons

There isn’t really anything I dislike about the software. It’s easy and user friendly. Clean and streamlined design. Forms management is a piece of cake.

Overall great product, I used it for ten years and would have continued if not for my retirement. You provided occasional upgrades as well.

Pros

Scheduling was easy and I liked being able to see who was confirmed, who had paid on the same screen. Also, our practice loved the ability to differentiate between quantity purchased and quantity used.

Cons

The reports section was a little cumbersome. I just could ask the sales report for "last month", one had to enter a start date and end date. Also printing from the reports was difficult. My main complaint was that you only had one credit card merchant option. I did not like World pay services, and asked more than once over the years if there was a second option.

Overall the platform was great. It was definitely the right product for us initially. Being at the forefront of electronic documentation and being one of the only paperless practices in our town (at the time), made our operations more efficient than our nearest competitors. Data analytics helped streamline both our finances and decision-making.

Pros

The customer service is unbeatable. Initial and continued training is incredibly streamlined and communication with the team members is easy. When we are in need of troubleshooting any challenges or issues, the response times are always fast.

Cons

Continued quality improvement is absolutely necessary in any technology sector and more so in medicine. Developing capabilities such as e-prescription or laboratory interfacing help to streamline patient care even in the aesthetic specialties. The adoption of prescription capabilities (among other similar challenges) were somewhat delayed and failed to keep pace with competitor products.

I really like how we can book appt by different rooms. Helps vision the flow of the day as I make appts.

Im having to add photos one at a time from my gallery instead of being slecring all the desired pictures ans uploading them all at one. Very time consuming and annoying.

the support is outstanding, from start up to simple questions someone is always available. Support tickets are helpful and should be archivable to go back on and review for reminders and continued help

the documentation upon start up was fantastic. there were plenty of templates to start and choose from which made business start up a lot easier

Cons

the scheduling is a bit inconsistent. at times, I get notifications, other times I don't. Texting notifications would be very helpful but again, they are very inconsistent

I don't like that the support team isn't able to actually physically help, and instead are only able to give instructions. It would be preferred if the support team could actually manually fix the issues.

I have personally found it quite challenging to navigate simple tasks, and have experienced multiple glitches.

Pros

The integrations and price. I do think the reports are fairly accurate, but beyond that it pretty much suits my needs. All EHRS have their downfalls.

Cons

Having to create forms and consents. There should be a way to upload your own as it takes so much time and effort to toggle and type out your own to turn out the way you hope.

7 out of 10! We have had longevity ! I have seen effort and growth over the years to be more customizable.

Pros

We have been a client since the company's inception and have even helped create the initial charting and consultation tools. They have significantly improved the platform by adding options for us to create our own charting and patient records.

Cons

Cost, and also, there have been some marketing errors that have cost us money. It took time and many calls to try to fix the error, but we still chose to continue to use the platform.

Good experience so far, we have used it for almost 3 years and the program keeps improving which is great.

Pros

I like the ease of charting. I appreciate the updated link for patients to schedule with. I'm excited to try using the marketing.

Cons

Would like the option to not allow patients to book an appt with less than an hour advance (example A person could schedule an appt when it's 9:30am and the appt is at 10:00)

My experience with AP has been fantastic overall. The software meets my needs and I can't say enough about the AP team! The BEST customer service I have experienced.

Pros

Customer Service and the new Aurora software.

Cons

This isn't a deal breaker for me. However, AP is designed to track inventory with services that are priced per unit/per syringe rather than fee for service/price per area. My practice is based on the later. So, it wasn't as easy to track inventory with this model for me. However, with the help of the AMAZING Support Team at AP, we were able to find a way to track inventory with the fee for service/price per area structure and make it work. That said, a software update that would allow for both pricing structures (per unit and/or per area) while tracking inventory more organically/without the work around would be ideal and amazing.

Seems like a great platform to keep us organized and is easy to customize. All product info & inventory is easily accessible as well as client info.

Pros

Easy to use with intuitive design and thoughtful layout. The calendar is customizable and the client info is easy to use.

Cons

Went we tested it after our session and it was not easy to apply discounts from the checkout screen.
