Absolutely love the support team. Sometimes I call in 3-4x in one day and every support person already knows the answer right away

Pros

Hearing from us as clients as to what needs to be improved and actually being taken into consideration and seeing the improvements sooner than later shows we are being heard

Cons

Alot of click throughs for setting up new services , items . Such as when creating ne services , there should be a step by step to ensure everything is "turned on " like staff member to complete the service , are there forms to go along with this service , commission paid , will this service be available for online boking , etc .

Overall, our experience has been very positive. The system is easy to use, well organized, secure, and packed with features that support our clinic’s daily operations. Pros

We’ve had an excellent experience using AestheticsPro in our clinic. The system is incredibly easy to use, well organized, and has a clean, professional look that makes day-to-day operations smooth and efficient. Everything feels intuitive, which makes training staff simple and stress-free. One of the standout features for us is the comprehensive client records and charting functionality. Having detailed, secure client data all in one place gives us complete confidence in both compliance and organization. The photo feature is also fantastic—it allows us to easily document treatments and track progress, which is invaluable in an aesthetics setting. We’re especially impressed with their support system and training videos. The team is responsive, helpful, and truly committed to making sure clinics succeed with the software. It’s also great to see new features being released more frequently—this shows they are continuously improving and evolving the platform. Overall, AestheticsPro has been a powerful, secure, and beautifully designed solution for our clinic, and we couldn’t be happier with it.

Cons

While we’re very happy overall, a few areas could be improved. We don’t love being charged extra for text message reminders and email communications. It would also be helpful to have a view-only option for client documents instead of needing to download them each time. Lastly, having a tagged before-and-after photo gallery to easily showcase results during consultations would be a great addition.

A very user-friendly system that is easy to navigate, even for those with no prior experience using an EMR system.

Cons

What I liked least is the structure of the online booking system. When a campaign includes a service that requires a deposit, it prompts all patients to enter their card information even if they are not selecting that particular service with the deposit requirement.

Pros

One of the things I liked most about AestheticsPro was the level of customizability within the platform. It allows practices to tailor workflows, memberships, forms, treatment packages, and client management systems to fit the specific needs of their business. The software is aesthetically geared toward medspas and wellness clinics, which makes it easier to organize services and streamline operations compared to more generalized EMR systems.

Cons

The biggest downside for me was the inventory system and the lack of more advanced real time communication features. Inventory management could be much more intuitive and refined, especially for clinics managing retail, injectables, and consumables at scale. I also wish the platform had stronger built in texting and automation capabilities similar to Zenoti, particularly for real-time communication, marketing automation, and client engagement workflows.

### "Aesthetics Pro is the way to go"

It was difficult for us to switch to AP, but after all everything worked out, we are up and running. We feel like we made the right choice.

Pros

AP is user friendly, affordable, and customer service is excellent. We also appreciate that AP is constantly working on making the software better. Furthermore, it's nice that AP regularly checks up on us to make sure that we are okay. Last but not least, the contemporary features like the patient portal that come with AP are very important for us to stay competitive.

Cons

1.Picture uploads could be easier. 2. It would be great if we could make changes to an invoice on a later day if needed. 3. The commission structure to be more flexible. We pay commission on net profit. That option is not available in AP. 4. It would be nice if we could scan our forms into AP instead of building them from scratch.

To be honest in the beginning I struggled because I thought it wasn’t as user friendly as I was used to. I do feel with each “upgrade” thing are getting better. And as I said earlier, I wish the AP markerting templates were more modern looking and user friendly. I also would like to be able to go back to a chart once an invoice is opened. Having to use two different screens is a pain. Sometimes I need to be in the person chart to see if we are discounting or what the exact name of the service is I am adding to the invoice.

Pros

I like that it went over the basics, I learned to use AP based on how other staff members where using it but they weren’t necessarily utilizing every feature that was shown. I like seeing it from the provider/admin and the client prospective. It’s was helpful to know why its important to have certain things in place.

Cons

The only thing I didn’t like about it was some area covered didn’t make sense for my practice, they weren’t things I could utilize. I also really wish the AP marketing templates were more modern looking.

It has been great as a provider with documentation as well as booking clients. For the most part it is very easy to use, new updates are making it more streamline which we like.

Pros

I love the convenience aspect of everything being in one place for our clients EMR. It is easy to chart on as a provider.

Cons

I wish the "book now" appointments alerted us somehow and not just went in the "bell" at the top. If a pop up came up, it would be easier for us to see in real time.

Excellent. Wish I didn’t waste time on Aesthetics Record. This is light years ahead of that. I was booking through my website and their Book Now feature made it such a cleaner more polished and professional booking experience for my clients.

Pros

I’ve been using Aesthetics Pro and can confidently say their customer support is top-notch—quick, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated. The “Book Now” portal is absolute perfection—simple, clean, and professional. I’ve tried less expensive EMR options before, but this is one of those cases where you truly get what you pay for. Aesthetics Pro is incredibly intuitive, reliable, and thoughtfully designed. Honestly, I’m surprised it doesn’t cost more for what it delivers. The support alone is worth every penny—it’s a tremendous value for the price.

Cons

There isn’t really anything I dislike about the software. It’s easy and user friendly. Clean and streamlined design. Forms management is a piece of cake.

Wonderful!! The staff is lovely and not once have I had to talk to an automated voice, they offer their own AI helper to get through set up while alos scheduling calls for check ins and tricks ot make things run smoother!

Very helpful and communicative! \[sensitive content hidden\] were so great to work with! This system offers all of my demands and more, making things simple with no hidden fees and a very inclusive price structure! Scheduling is easy and aesthetic to view and patient records are easy to access and shar through the patients individual portal

Cons

I don't have any complaints so far, everyone has been easy to work with, kind and understanding. Maybe making sure training people aren't repeating each other too much but then again, some people need to hear it twice

### "Aesthetics Pro for Med Spas"

We use AP as our foundational platform at multiple med spas because it makes it simple to toggle from one to the other to view calendars, revenue, etc. Reporting is often frustrating to understand where some of the numbers are coming from and the occasional offline issues can be challenging - but overall, every platform has it's pros and cons so you need to pick your horse.

Pros

User interface is well designed and easy to get staff trained for basic functions like appointment making, editing, etc. Inventory control is user friendly. Many other platforms don't integrate charting and patient forms in the user friendly way AP does.

Cons

More complex features such as setting up packages and allocating product inventory used as part of a service are less intuitive and require help setting up. Also gift card feature needs a lot of work. Accurate Revenue/Performance reporting requires extensive (and expert) setup to provide real numbers.

the support is outstanding, from start up to simple questions someone is always available. Support tickets are helpful and should be archivable to go back on and review for reminders and continued help

Pros

the documentation upon start up was fantastic. there were plenty of templates to start and choose from which made business start up a lot easier

Cons

the scheduling is a bit inconsistent. at times, I get notifications, other times I don't. Texting notifications would be very helpful but again, they are very inconsistent

They have an app. Fast to up. Easy to write notes. Able to take picture and upload them directly to the chart.

Cons

Difficult to navigate through out the EMR. Difficult in processing payments. Arcachic system. Very convoluted, difficult to reach to navigate. Not user friendly. Recently they increased their prices. Difficult to view photos. Difficult to built your notes. Not a lot of customization

Outages & NUMEROUS scheduling issues that have caused me to work extra in off hours & on vacations to rectify — not to mention causing me to lose money due to frustrations on the clients end with booking appointments. Also HORRIBLE support & customer service — they either never have answers for you, or they have the nerve to blame you and say “the information is in your contract so you should have known” - nice way to be spoken to as a loyal customer of 5 years, always paying my bill on time without issue.

Pros

Would give negative stars if possible. Absolutely horrible software and terrible, greedy customer service practices. Constant bugs, outages, and scheduling issues that have caused me to lose money in my business due to clients being able to double book or even worse, schedule appointments during blocked off times that should not even be available. I have had many clients reach out expressing frustration that they can not complete booking an appointment due to errors they receive, or the pages simply not populating correctly for them to select services — again causing me to lose business as a small, sole proprietor business owner. I will constantly have issues and be told “we checked this issue and cannot replicate it” so there is absolutely no answers or resolve. I even had to call clients daily on my only vacation time, leaving the beach to go back to my hotel room, to contact clients that should not have been able to book appointments that they were able to book, and to try and get them rescheduled. This issue went on for 2 weeks. Mind you, they increased the monthly charge by $25 without any improvements or additional inclusions— in fact, the software was even worse! I have been charged for additional texts and marketing emails without any knowledge and was told that I should’ve reached out to my account manager to make sure there weren’t additional fees first. Not to mention the many outages & software bugs that would disrupt daily operations and would not allow me to access forms or complete payments with clients— thank God for Venmo in those scenarios— which looks completely unprofessional imo. Will be switching my software ASAP, never recommending this joke of a software. Invest in something better, even if it costs more— trust me. I’ve been a loyal customer for 5 years, never had a late payment and they’ve treated me so poorly like they couldn’t care less about my business or loyalty.

Scheduling issues. Software outages and bugs disrupting scheduling and payments. Losing money for my business. Customer service and never receiving answers for issues that occur.

Pros

The software has since added AI and SMS messaging which can be helpful for client communication. This was a major downfall prior.
