Comments: Concur is a very good expense management tool. Very positive employee feedback, viewed as a benefit. Quality service. Overall could be priced less.

Pros: Pre built connectors that make integration with your systems easy. Great brand recognition, known as the leader in the industry. Overall lots of features and functions.

Cons: It should be easier to complete an expense report via mobile phone. Expense It and Trip It should be one product.

Pros: This product is great for expense reporting. We really like the receipt imaging feature. All of the invoices are located in one place.

Cons: This may be just a problem with us not using the program to it's full potential, but we pay a lot for what we feel like isn't worth the price.

Concur makes it easy to track and submit all corporate expenses!

Pros: As a manager, I do a lot of purchasing on behalf of my team. Sometimes on a corporate card and sometimes out of pocket to be reimbursed. Concur makes it so easy to upload pictures of receipts and keep track of expense approvals for both use cases.

Cons: I love the expense tracking in the system, however, the travel booking can be tricky at times. There are multiple steps that you must take to book and confirm your travel. I feel like the platform could be a little more user-friendly in this aspect.

Pros: The travel seems beneficial to keep track of all travel expenses. I do like corporate payment where expense can be paid directly to CC.

Cons: New to this but it does not appear as user friendly as previous expense system. Was unable to easily find history on my direct reports expenses previously submitted. Just doesnt seem intuitive enough.

Been using this for expenses for over 2 years now. Very easy and quick with the mobile platform.

Pros: The mobile platform makes capturing receipts much easier than trying to scan all in. Fairly quick in syncing and much easier than the former process our company used.

Cons: I wish the app had recognition of a name on a receipt and could sync it with the expense....but I realize that is a big ask. The only other changes are more of how our company chose to use this software, not with the software itself.

Pros: you can load your receipts off your phone but your camera roll or taking a photo right there on the spot.

Cons: Sometimes if you try to enter the receipt before you create the expense it will remove the photo, also the desktop view is not as easy. It requires more work to upload images of course.

Pros: Concur Expense Management has all the features you need for expense management. It's customizible/flexible, can bill to departments, and manage taxes and policies specific to geographies. The mobile application makes it very simple to take pictures of receipts on the go, and automatically make them available in expense reports. I also am enjoying the Uber integration that automatically produces receipts and makes them available in Concur after taking a trip.

Cons: Ideally it would be a bit easier and more visible for people doing their expenses to control which individual department they are billing an individual line item to. Most of our employees mix different kinds of expenses into one expense report, so that feature would be nice for budget holders.

Overall: Easy, fast, and transparent Expense Management

Pros: The tool has the ability to accept all different kinds of charges, charge them directly to corporate card, and direct funds from the correct cost centers

Cons: the tool is very rigid and if the process is not done 100% correctly, the user often has to start over from the beginning because of the number of errors and inablity to get around them.

Pros: Concur's functionality is very simple and intuitive. When creating a report, I can easily choose the expense type, add a receipt image, and add the other details. I like how I can save a report to work on later, and even easily cancel one after it has been submitted if I need to make an edit. I also enjoy getting email updates to let me know where my report is in the process of getting approved and dispensed into my account.

Cons: There is not anything that I like the least about Concur - everything about Concur works well for me!

Pros: Love how it easy it was to submit expense reports with this software, especially if you download the app! Also love that I could take picture of expense receipts on the go and have them stored and ready when I needed them for the expense report. Lastly I love that the funds were directly deposited vs. getting a check.

Cons: Really nothing comes to mind in terms of what could be improved. Categories of expenses could have been greater but those were set by our administrator so really not a fault against the software.

You get what you pay for!

Comments: As a GovCon system's consultant, this is the expense/travel capturing solution I recommend to clients, that can afford it.

Pros: This is the top-shelf of expense/travel management software. It's easy for users. Administration isn't terribly difficult. Integration is possible depending on the accounting solution. It has a lot of reporting and analysis tools. It can save a lot of time for F&A staff if the software is setup correctly.

Cons: It's a bit on the expensive side. Customer service isn't always the most helpful, depending on who you get. The sales team can be a bit pushy and make promises their development team hasn't released yet. Not real cons to say about the actual system itself.

Pros: I like that it connects directly with my corporate credit card; its very easy to match expenses with receipts and submit reports in a timely fashion. The mobile app has made significant improvements

Cons: I wish it integrated directly with common receipt sources to automatically pull the transaction data, particularly from uber/lyft which I use frequently. This also may be a configuration my org has not implemented.

Our company had a horrible time with concur - Bills were paid late all the time!

Pros: The idea of it is nice and if it worked well it would be awesome, but in execution it does not work well at all.

Cons: We had bills not show up in concur until after they were due making us delinquent with several accounts. We would have to make separate individual payments outside of the system to avoid an affect on our credit or termination of service. Did not help efficiency or our standing with vendors at all.

Overall: Not any benefits it was a horrible experience in our accounting depertment

Pros: It's a fairly user friendly system with a good amount of features. We never have systems issues, which is very nice.

Cons: It would be nice if it captured more details about each purchase, but perhaps that's also an amex issue.

Software handles our T&E and P-Card requirements much better than previous solution.

Pros: Intuitive software. Captures all P-Card and T&E spend requirements, provides payment files nightly and interfaces all to the general ledger.

Cons: Customer service is average. Usually they are not reading the tickets thoroughly and don't research in advance. Tickets remain open too long without resolution.

Overall: Cloud solution that simplified administration and upgrades. Pharmaceutical industry requirements for reporting were met through semi standard configuration. End users love the mobile app.

Cons: Mobile app is a bit hard to navigate for tasks besides uploading receipts. Some options on the website are buried deep so it takes some hunting to look up old reports that have already been approved.

Pros: I used this at a former employer for travel. It was easy to keep track of our travel plans and get to our information on the go.

Cons: It was a few years ago so updates may have been made but the screens at the time could be a little more aesthetically pleasing and easier to follow. It wasn't much to it.

Pros: I like the snapshot of receipts feature, as it is so much easier than scanning. the phone app is helpful to be able to expense things right away

Cons: lately it's been crashing with SSO so it's been a little unreliable. The photo receipt feature on the app is a little clunky and doesn't always get the whole receipt. Comments should be able to easily sync between expenses when they are the same expenses (especially foreign transaction fees)

Pros: This software is very easy to use once it is setup with all the validation rules necessary to work with your Accounting system. It took us a while to get all the rules correct and properly tested, but once they were setup and working we have had very minor issues. We like that we can bundle the Travel with the Expense component to get discounts from our Travel vendors. The users like using the mobile app to upload their expense receipts. It is very easy to use the interface both as a user and administrator.

Cons: Concur gives you a point of contact that helps customize your software. It was difficult to get all the requirements that we needed for our validation rules, but once we were able to get those configured it worked really well.

Pros: I like that my reports are easy to submit. it goes directly to my manager to receive aproval. Also uploading receipts is easy.

Pros: It is simple to add and attach receipts. Very user friendly, which comes in handy when you're training older individuals that tend to dislike change!

Cons: It is sometimes a bit quirky, taking more time than necessary to show certain expenses, or requiring an annoying log out and log back in sequence.

Overall: It cut down on paperwork, which made my job easier. Also very easy to approve other's expense reports and track their purchases.

Pros: Concur is having so many pros which can not be denied, my list goes on 1. Matured product with easy to use features 2. Coupled with OCR technologies 3. Flawless process

Pros: The implementation staff was very good but work through the process in a way that does not always seem to address concerns in real time. There ends up being a lot of back a forth, questions, etc., but the answers are always complete and applicable.

Cons: It is not quite as user friendly as I was expecting. It interface is pretty good but some of the best functionality is in a companion app rather than the direct smartphone app. The admin side is clunky and not intuitive at all to get through the processes it manages.

Great tool for tracking, monitoring and submitting expenses.

Pros: Concur keeps all of our invoices in one place and allows all of our teams to review them without the hassle of invoices getting lost in the abyss of never-ending emails. Allows for comments from each user which can be viewed by all who receive the inv. Inv PDF can be downloaded and replaced, Inv extract captures each invoice line in excel which is useful. Duplicate inv. feature works great when OCR gets inv number right. Ability to edit invoices is great and we can see who changed what and the date using the audit trail but we can't export or capture this info.

Cons: It takes a min of 2 days to get an inv into the system but often takes longer and has taken up to 8, system often duplicates invoices or does not ever show up even though we get confirmation so we can't have them sent directly to concur, OCR sftw is not good, requires manual review. PO's don't work if you have to revise them. PO import also doesn't fully work and retains old info after updated. Thus PO/inv matching is useless. Does not offer inv. tracking so we still manually track them. No way to determine inv time w/ each employee or turnover time in a rept or export due to "system limitations." No useful/functional reporting. Auto routing does not work on project basis so we must manually route. No way to capture approvals w/ inv so we must screenshot every one and attach to PDF download. Can't use approval flows for projects and have to approve through comments and manually route. Employees can't see invoices after passing them to next person so finance still has to manually send copies upon request. System offers restrictions but all employees can access and change these settings eventhough they are not set as an admin and are supposed to have restrictions, which means they could bypass final review by accounting. Employees often chance currency type for other countries not knowing we pay in USD only, we can't lock this so the export fails if we don't catch it and finally; it took almost 4 months to get up and running w/ concur so we didn't even get to use free trial.

Overall: It keeps all of our invoices in one place.

Pros: The ability to break down expenses to a very detailed level and submit reports easily from anywhere. Also the ability to add multiple levels of approval as needed.

Cons: Sometimes the complexity of the tool makes submissions take a little longer than I would like, so perhaps the ability to add a quick report would be helpful

Pros: It was so easy to use this to log my travel when during clients and prospect visit. The iphone app lets you take pics.

Cons: Customer service could have been better. Had to wait a bit to get a response requesting help but it happens. I love concur.

Pros: Easy to use while on the road. Eliminates lost receipts and makes it easier to submit timely expense reports. It is also easy to use the approval features online or in the application.

Cons: It does not interface with our accounting system even though it was advertised to do so. The customer support is not knowledgable about this aspect of the software.

Pros: I like how it integrates things together so that it eliminates steps. Entering a receipt and attaching a photo of it is very easy. Also, expenses are all gathered in one spot and you can easily add them to an expense report at which point they disappear from expenses so that you don't double them up. Also, the app lets you know if you don't have all the required information for an expense. Coupled with the ExpenseIt app it's very easy to enter an expense just by taking a picture of your receipt. Expense reports are fairly easy to manage and submit. Most of the organizational and cost center information is already entered for you. Simple user interface on home page.

Cons: Takes a while to get used to the software and figure out how to enter items. Error correcting has sometimes proved to not be as easy as entering items. If your hotel has a different rate each night there is no way to itemize it that way. You end up having to average out the rate to make it work and if it ends up being an odd multiple you have to figure out a way to make up the difference. There haven't been enough categories for our department to categorize many of our expenses to.

Overall: Ease of submitting expense reports.

Pros: I use this app for my company to get reimbursed. I think the service is a must-need for all companies to get appropriate approvals for reimbursement, and it does provide a "professional" layout for users.

Cons: I don't like how there are too many steps to go through in order to complete an invoice request. I wish they would dumb down the steps a bit.

Pros: I like how you can easily book flights and hotels at the same time and you know exactly what you're getting yourself into

Cons: I dislike how it takes well over a month to receive my funds back into my bank account. It's ridiculous

Pros: This product works great for expense reports. I really like that we are able to take a picture of our receipts as we go and submit them. It has really reduced the time I spend on my expense reports.

Cons: I feel like making reservations could be improved some. I only use this about every other month so part of it could just be that I need to seek out more training.

Pros: The newly updated app allows for a much more efficient process of uploading photos of receipts - a wonderful improvement!

Cons: At least in the capacity that I use it for my company - I find that at times coding each expense can be difficult as there isn't room for a lot of explanation for the choice options.

Pros: The best feature of this program is the ability to link your Uber account. The expenses show up automatically, including receipts. Makes expense reporting a breeze.

Cons: Depending on how it is configured by your company, you may not be able to easily delete personal expenses from linked apps that are imported accidentally.

Pros: I can log my expenses directly from my phone. I can also track mileage as I make my trips. I no longer have to spend hours doing manual expense reports. The app walks you through the process step by step and guides you to ensure every field necessary is populated. It eliminates the chances of having errors.

Cons: Although the app walks you through beach step, it's still somewhat difficult to understand some of the fields and what they mean. I'm still in the beginning stages of learning how to navigate through the app.

Tracking expenses has never been easier.

Pros: Both the mobile app and the website are easy to use and MUCH simplifies the process of submitting expense reports. Paper receipts are a thing of the past and I can code expenses and post photos of receipts on the go. Everything my accounting department needs from me is in one place and because everything is done online I don't have to track down physical signatures for expense approvals. Love it!

Cons: There is some functionality I wish I had as an end user (like adding a new project code) that I need to request from our accounting department administrator but I am unsure if this is an internal setting or a software limitation.

Overall: Saves time, easy to use, simplifies expense reporting.

Comments: Overall a great piece of software. Highly recommend.

Pros: The software is great for managing purchases and arranging travel for yourself or guests. It¿s very easy to use and intuitive. Cancelling and changing trips is also pretty easy and their customer service has always been great.

Cons: Sometimes it¿ll take a couple of tries to load all of the flight options. I think it¿s just a delay in the system. Also, I wish there was a way to send others their itinerary without the prices of travel posting.

Pros: Easy to create expense reports, attach receipts, interfaces with vendor systems to automatically receive and load expenses (hotels, airlines, car rentals, etc). Holds personal information for traveling. interfaces with global travel systems (like AMEX Global Business Travel). Mobile app makes very easy to scan and add receipts.

Cons: Depending on your organization needs, you still have to prepare and submit paper documentation to support your expenses, other than that, it is totally digital.

Pros: The best thing about Concur is it includes all expectations for expenses. You know exactly what you need to include for your expenses to be paid in a timely manner: comments, photos, dates. It is easy to upload in real time too, so you're not stuck digging around for old receipts that may have been lost or misplaced in travel.

Cons: I don't really have any major cons other than Concur not processing over weekend days. It's best to submit the reports on Mondays to have the fastest turnaround.

Overall: It makes traveling for work much easier and painless

Pros: All my expenses are auto tracked and uploaded to concur and you can easily create a report. It allows you to upload your receipts and add different GLs for different expenses.

Cons: When uploading receipts onto a certain expense item, I wish it would allow us to drag the file from our file explorer into the browser uploaded window. It would save some time on my end

Pros: The tool is relatively user-friendly and they are often adding new features to reduce the time it takes to do an expense report.

Cons: The reporting suite (where Admins or Approvers would go to see reports) is in need of a major makeover. The tools are antiquated and clunky. It is not user friendly. Our managers have never been able to effectively use the reporting tools. It's way too many clicks to get to the reports, and all the canned reports never really capture 100% of what you want to see all in one report. This means you need a lot of custom reports, which you either at through the nose for, or have someone do in house.

We use concur as our credit card processor and security invoicing.

Pros: I love the ease of being able to extract the sales tax from expenses within concur. I like vendors can enter their own request into concur and we can approve them electronically.

Cons: I wish concur had the ability to acknowledge if a invoice is eligible to be taxable income or not. We have security officers send their invoices through concur and that would be helpful.

Pros: It has all the features I need to submit my expenses and proper approval chain gets triggered to get my expenses approved.

Cons: It might have been a personalization that my company set, but Concur was connected to other expense/budget systems and although my manager was someone, they were not able to approve because they were not set up in Concur due to the fact that they were a new manager. There needs to be a feed or connection with HR systems that mark of individuals who have direct reports in some way.

Overall: I got my expenses in.

Pros: I like how you can take a picture of receipts with the app. I also enjoy How intuitive it can be pairing expenses, and matching receipts.

Pros: I love how easy it is to book flights and travel reservations. The travel customer service reps are easy to get in touch with and have great customer service if there are ever issues. The prompts that flag each expense telling me what is needed before submitting are very helpful as well. I also like that I can switch profiles by acting as others in case I need to access another expense report.

Cons: I wish it would accept receipts in other formats than PDF or JPEG files. I also have issues with figuring out how to input cash advances.

Overall: Concur makes booking travel reservations as easy as it gets and is a great tool for managing personal or employee expense reports.

Pros: Purchased about a year ago for employee expense reports. The integration is great and it is very easy to understand and user friendly.

Cons: I do not like the amount of times it defaults to a miscellaneous expense category. We have to then manually move these.

Pros: I really enjoy Concur. My favorite feature would be that Concur has an App for the cell and from the app you can upload your receipts for the expense report. AMAZING feature!

Pros: Keeps track of my expenses and keep my receipts in one place. Easy to send my expense report at the end of the month to be approved.

Cons: Not very intuitive. You cant enter expenses in advance. Hard to save receipts from the computer version, its easier from the phone app.

Pros: I love the fact that everything is tracked and available. It gets rid of the old communication errors that happened when a receipt or request was misplaced. I think the biggest impact it has had on us is the ease and functionality of managing travel expenses. It eliminates a lot of the headache we used to have with traveling reps.

Cons: Every software comes with glitches and hangups now and then, but the customer support and communication of staff has helped smooth out anything major from coming up.

Pros: We recently started using Concur at work and I organically became the trainer for Concur and our new hires because I just loved using it so much. It's so intuitive and the app is great. I think all companies should use Concur.

Cons: The only issue I really have with Concur is that the options that show up when you're creating a new expense on the website are not the same as on the app. The app is missing the ability to choose your payment source so despite having the awesome camera feature which will attach a receipt to your account, it is still best to create your expenses on the website to ensure you can fill everything out correctly.

Pros: I like the electronic approvals and electronic payments to employees. The software does a great job of keeping an audit history. It also has great reporting functions that give me insight on how my company is spending money.

Cons: Concur has improved very little in the 5 years I have been using it. There are many great suggestions on its support page that never get implemented. Concur does not send notification emails to accounting when reports are ready to be processed. Users are forced to check the site multiple times a day to see if there is an expense report ready for payment. A huge drawback.

Overall: The software gives the company the ability to have electronic expense reports and receipts. This is a huge benefit.

Pros: It's easy to use and customizable in that you can add so many different codes/categories for expenses, as well as departments. I only used this software to submit expense reports but I could see how valuable it is for our accounting department. To my knowledge, my old company used it for years with no complaints. Attaching receipts is also quite easy

Cons: I wish there was an option to print a report from my iPhone. As far as I can tell, this can only be done via a computer. Also, there was a lag in the mobile app when I upgraded to a new smart phone.

Overall: Easy entry and management of receipts for travel reimbursement.

Concur is fairly new to us. We have been using concur to manage our provider's expenses.

Pros: Most CFOs want to make sure they select a solution that will help them manage their travel and expense bookings. The Concur solution does this, of course, but also improves the visibility of expenses, while ensuring compliance with the latest VAX and tax regulations of the SAP.

Cons: As a user, the most cumbersome of the system is having to upload the photos of the consumptions made. This takes a lot of time.

Overall: Greater financial control of expenses, more accurate data, saving time in administrative procedures. Automates the travel and expenses process by importing many of the necessary data to file a claim for travel expenses, credit cards and electronic receipts. As a result, much of the manual process of filling out an expense report is eliminated. The automated pre-filling of data also helps increase accuracy. In addition, having all this data in one place means that it is accessible and can be used for reports, with the appropriate level of detail necessary to keep the management team happy.

Concur is very easy to use software, it has almost all the features that makes submitting expense report very efficiently

Pros: It has a mobile app! Filing an expense report have never been this easier, its a next, next, finish kind of thing. On the filers end, one will be able to upload the picture of the receipt thus making it faster for the approver to verify the details. No need for paper filing anymore. Crediting and reimbursements are faster too.

Cons: No option to print the expense report in the mobile app. Need to login via the web application to print.

Concur helps employees manage all business expenses in a flash.

Pros: Concur can cover everything business expense, and allows for timely and proper tracking. You can get reimbursed for everything, from office purchases to plane tickets. You can also check for flights, hotels and rentals.

Cons: Navigating Concur isn't the easiest. It takes a few uses before you become acquainted and comfortable with the setup.

Pros: It is very easy to track expenses through this app. Just upload a receipt, and it automates a task for the approving manager.

Cons: There are maybe too many options, and sometimes not the right one when trying to select. Blank fields would be better

Pros: The level of granularity is very useful for the data and finance teams. Additionally, the smart phone app comes in very handy and makes it easy to track expenses and upload receipts.

Cons: The level of granularity can also be a hindrance at times. Ideally, would like to be able to eliminate certain fields so that it isn't so overwhelming to fill out expense reports.

Pros: It's supposed to handle expenses AND purchasing. So far, we can't get either one to work.
The implementation coach was very helpful, but there was no overview so we learned the system by brute force.

Cons: Nothing works the way you would expect it to. You can't simply do anything: it's always a complicated process.
The navigation is terrible, so I end up saying "wait, where is it?!" about 10 times a day.

Pros: Entering expenses is never fun, and generally, never easy. The Concur app, while not perfect, definitely speeds up the process. The photo receipts feature is great.

Cons: Not super intuitive. I had to have the financial team show me how to break out ant itemize longer receipts with multiple expense categories on them. Seems like each step requires a click or two more than necessary.

Pros: It's on my phone and online. Can take photos of receipts on the go and stay organized without having to keep a bunch of paper in a folder somewhere.

Overall: I don't have to fill out paper expense reports anymore. I simply track everything in Concur and it takes care of the rest.

Pros: Concur's web layout is very efficient and it is easy to navigate all the features easily.
You can start an expense on your mobile and finish it on your laptop.
It is relatively easy to upload scans or camera images of paper receipts for expenses.

Cons: Simpler reporting tool - this one is a little clunky.
The hotel allocation is clumsy if the expense automatically feeds into the system.

Overall: I get my expense claim and reimburse through this Software

Pros: We utilize for expense reports. It's very user friendly. Users can download the app and snap a photo of receipts while incurring expenses and wait to allocate later. Takes the need to retain receipts away.

Cons: For the level at which we're using the software, it's too expensive for the value it provides. We are looking to move back to paper expense reporting.

Pros: Concur makes it easy to submit expense reports in just a few minutes. I like that I'm able to take a picture of my receipt and directly import it to the app, so I don't have to worry about saving and losing receipts.

Cons: I wish some of the workflow was a little easier in Concur. While it doesn't take long to submit a report, it can be time-consuming to make sure I've filled in all the fields and haven't forgotten to attach a receipt. There are multiple clicks required to submit a report -- eliminating some of these steps would help improve my experience.

Concur is a perfect platform for expense management within a Sales and Marketing department

Pros: With the Concur app, tracking receipts on sales outings, business trips, and industry tradeshows, is easier than ever. This allows me to link my expenses with the corresponding receipt in a flash!

Cons: The desktop usability could definitely be improved. Creating reports is simple, but the complicated process to request approvals and book flights on the desktop is somewhat complicated.

Pros: Interface is very user friendly. It has high customization and easy to use the search options and populated fields. Expenses from foreign countries are a breeze to submit.

Cons: The interface is a bit ugly. They could spruce up the design a bit, not that it matters ultimately, but it's very basic. Search bar to add guests can freeze up at times.

Overall: Ease of submitting expenses for multiple executives and myself.

Pros: I like the ability to upload receipts in a digital image format. I also like the ability to chose from my companies GL codes in a clickable format.

Cons: The think I like least about Concur is the time it takes to upload receipts. Also, on occasion it will be difficult to find expenses that occurred during the time frame selected for the expense report, but this may be an issue with Concur or the credit card company.

Overall: It is easy to use and makes expense reporting a 1-2 hour task for the month (about 10-15 receipts on average).
