Pros: It has amazing features for engineers, allows to do very useful analysis, in my experience I did a lot of structural optimizations.

Cons: It doesn't have an undo option, you can only do it once. So if you want to go back to a previous state, you can't. And this is important because for working in finite elements analysis, you need to be very careful, so if you mess in the assignment of some elements, you can only undo the last action. Also, is not user friendly so I had to continuously search for help in the manual or in the site. The online help is very useful and they respond quickly.

Overall: I did a structural optimization that allowed me to get my degree in MSc in mechanical engineer.

Pros: You can do analysis of you structures very fast and precise. This software solve with finite elements calculations related to structures and motion of them. Also, you can optimize your results to reduce costs (Materials and production time)

Cons: You have to be very careful because the software does not have an option to correct your simulation. So you have to try to do it right at first.
