### "ShoWare - Excellence on Every Level"

ShoWare has been a pleasure from the start and continues with the standard of excellence we've become accustomed to. The staff was patient, pleasant and helpful throughout the system customization and implementation. The provided training was well paced and comprehensive. The live sessions allowed for immediate clarification of any concerns. Transcripts and recordings were made available for for future reference. Day to day operations are handled with the same speed, skill and care.

Pros

ShoWare was able to customize their system to accommodate our business model. They did so in a timely manner. They are actually the only company that was able to do so. We were under a time crunch and they came through flawlessly. To date, personal assistance is a phone call away, and response is immediate.

Cons

There are no real cons coming to mind. ShoWare has never disappointed me. I honestly have nothing negative to say.

My experience with ShoWare has been great! The system is very comprehensive and allows one to customize many aspects. However, it can be a little text-heavy, which sometimes makes one miss important things. Overall, it's one of the best systems I have ever worked with! I really appreciate their quick and helpful customer service team too!

Pros

The ability to customize so much! It's one of the most comprehensive ticketing sales systems I've ever used. I feel like it is intuitive to use for both patrons and box office staff/management. The customer support is one of the most impressive things always really responsive and so helpful!

Cons

Things can be a little text heavy sometimes. I've worked with the system for over 2 years now and sometimes I'm still finding things that I've completely looked over because there is a lot of text on the pages. I think having some basic/simple tutorial videos for new users would be immensely helpful too.

I would describe my overall experience with ShoWare as very good and also enjoyable!

Pros

Mostly intuitive ease of use, easy access to events using a variety of different search methods.

Cons

I feel like the split payment process is cumbersome. It's easy to make mistakes even though you might get a pop-up warning because the process is not intuitive. Gift cards with other forms of payment are especially difficult. When doing a general patron search or order search outside of an order within the Box Office pages, I wish the system would default to showing results from All Time rather than limit it to an activity within a year. I feel like we create duplicate accounts sometimes because existing accounts don't show up in general searches unless you click All Time. I wish the Venue Manager would automatically list the shows that are happening in real time first as we pull up the screen. Sometimes we have to scroll through several pages to find those shows that are happening right then as we search. During exchanges, I wish the entire map of an event would appear rather than having to click on specific sections of the map. Sometimes the system is buggy on busy nights, and the order/patron searches are slow to load or won't load at all.

When I first starting using SW I was a Box Office Associate and used SW for every shift, I picked it up super fast. Eventually, I moved up in my role and now use SW to build shows, pull reports and use a lot of the back end side of things. Again, it is just really easy to use.

Pros

It is super user friendly and really easy to pick up as you first start using the program! I love the interface of each screen. The ease of the big buttons such as "Reserve Tickets", "Add to Basket", "Check out", "New Hold", etc. is so easy anyone can do it! Even as someone who works on the back end of SW, building shows etc. I can find my way and complete my tasks.

Cons

For the most part, I really like everything about ShoWare! I'm not the biggest fan of the hover pop out message when you are looking at the seat map. Sometimes downloading reports can take a long time to load. Overall I love it.

The ShoWare experience is one of support and encouragement. Professional conduct with a personal touch keeps me a fan even after over six years of use.

Pros

ShoWare is more than an easy-to-use ticketing platform, an amazing array of reports and ways to serve our guests. It is a company with the nicest people with which to work who want their clients to succeed, and who never stop finding ways to improve their product.

Cons

It can't do everything! And although that is true, many tasks or features they cannot currently do are considered for development, or they have partner companies to step in.

Simply Outstanding! Our Account Rep, \[sensitive content hidden\] has ALWAYS been there for our venue and is probably one of the MOST patient individuals I have ever met.

Pros

is ALWAYS available w/o fail when questions or problems arise, taking away any stress a venue may have during or before a ticketed event happens! Secondly they ARE EXTREMELLY patient with their clients. They introduced us to a fraud prevention system, which has resulted in a significant reduction of charge backs.

Cons

I am hoping one day that their platform would allow tap and pay, as patrons continue to increasingly use their phones to purchase products, this will be a MUST to ensure to that all patrons have more choices to purchase tickets on the day of the event

I think my overall experience is good. ShoWare has made an effort to accommodate most of our needs. I am disappointed when I ask for a report, and I am told that will be $1500. Still waiting on some fixes with Venue manager.

Pros

What I like most is my CSM. She is understanding of my frustrations, advocates for improvements in the system, makes suggestions for efficiency, and makes me feel like no question is a silly question.

Cons

Quality of equipment and how it is shipped. Laptops are of a variety of sizes, quality, and have different drives, consistency would be nice. I wish that each POS system came in a set in a hard roller case. The equipment is packed in huge boxes unreasonable to move without the pallet.

Use it for work constantly and rarely have any issues. The only real downside is the occasional slowness and at times certain things don't work the way we like. (some functionalities don't align with out box office processes, but we make do) For example, we have a package for a specific presenter that allows patrons one admission per show in their season, but there is no way to enforce that online on the client side. Patrons are given a number of "admissions" for the season and we essentially use the honor system and hope patrons only reserve the correct number of admissions.

Pros

Works well, pretty powerful software for managing patron accounts and ticketing. Makes season packages and rollovers simple to track.

Cons

Slowness and general loading troubles. Seems to happen more during show nights when more people are accessing at once. Some issues with certain packages/admissions not working how we would like them to.

I've been using Showare for a long time and am very familiar with the product. It has served us well, but as we continue to grow and expand as a company there have been some challenges for us in listing multiple types of events. Would love to see some more system flexibility in this regard.

Pros

Ease of building out a large number of events at once.

Cons

Inability to customize confirmation and basket language for different events. Inability to mass remove coupon codes.

It makes managing shows easier and teaching someone how to use is quite easy as well.

Pros

basic functionality, user friendly. Love to see the quick stats on the front page.

Cons

Not having direct ability to add on VIP packages. I don't love the ways of adding on a VIP addition and would love if it was a separate tab available in the show manager screen.

I have been working with the ticketing platform for the past 8 years. They continue to exceed my expectations. They listen to their clients wants/needs and take them into consideration for future upgrades. I can't wait to see what new features they will come up with next.

Pros

The ticketing platform is user friendly, easy to train ticket sellers on and great client services.

Cons

One of the things we like least is not able to add price levels or seat locations to an existing performance.

Pros

The software platform is relatively simplistic to use and easy to navigate, while the customer service remains top notch, with support being readily available.

Cons

Some levels of integration with other platforms, such as event and venue management softwares remains limited, with customize API's costly to develop.

Easy to use for a seasonal facility. The system can do many things which expedites the ticketing process.

There isn't anything negative I'd say about the Showare ticketing product.

Pros

User friendly. Support given by \[sensitive content hidden\], is stellar. \[sensitive content hidden\] always has answers to my questions and is extremely helpful and patient as a mentor and teacher.

Cons

There is no tool to merge patrons automatically. If I create a patron through my box office and the patron also creates an account online, there are two accounts in the same name. I understand I can manually merge the patrons and I do that. Any way to fix this?

It's easy to learn and understand, and the processes make sense.

Cons

There are a few glitchy things that happen with orders. Specifically with exchanges/modifying pricing codes. It'll sometimes cancel the tickets or duplicate them. The support team that we have is good though with troubleshooting and fixing issues

Selling ticket on line and up selling to the patrons as they are buying one show and might be interested in other upcoming shows. Our accountant is much happier with the reports and the ease of use pulling information from the system to balance the daily books.

Pros

The ease of training new people on the system. Our patrons love the online purchase procedure. The ease of setting up a season and individual shows for sale. The reports cover almost everything you can imagine and you can also have them customize reports (at a cost of course) but it is well worth the value.

Cons

I mentioned the reports are great, but there is always room for improvement and could always add more reports as you never know what you are going to need next.

We could not be happier with the support of our incredible ShoWare rep, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]. She always responds in a timely manner and if she is out we always have a response from a college of hers to check-in and be sure we have what we need. They are incredibly attentive and helpful.

Pros

ShoWare is easy to teach to box office staff and offers a lot of features in the back end with reporting and system configuration. We were impressed with how much we could adjust to support virtual programming during the pandemic and appreciate new features like socially distanced seating maps. More than anything we are so grateful for the incredible support we always get from our ShoWare representative. The knowledgebase is a wonderful resource and the support center tracks all past inquiries, so that serves as a great resource too. Overall we have been very happy with ShowWare.

Cons

At times there are some aspects of the patron experience that we wish were a bit easier, like bolder messaging to help lead them through the online purchasing experience. Though we do appreciate the option to customize our own messaging to help with specific issues we see coming up for multiple patrons.

We our very pleased with the software and appreciate the team at ! Items such as setting up multiple dynamic pricing changes in advance and being able to hit "enter" after a keyword search (which might seem minor) are small pieces of continuous upgrades that are huge time savers and continue to grow our excitement for the product.

Pros

Being new to the industry 4.5 years ago, is the only ticketing software I have used, and I couldn't imagine using anything else! Box Office associates and patrons alike find it very easy to navigate. After our venue decided to make some big changes to the seat numbering over the summer, our client services rep was very thorough and patient in helping me navigate through the process. What could have been a cumbersome project was made much easier due to his efforts.

Cons

A lot of patrons forget passwords/change email addresses, etc. and create new accounts instead updating their current account(s). I would love to be able to merge duplicate patrons accounts together.

ShoWare is a great product for any venue looking for an easy system to use that allows the ability for the Box Office management to create and control their events. This take the stress off of relying on another entity to create your manifests and hope they finish on time.

Pros

The ease and control of building your own Events and Performances and simple point and click functionality allows for easy training of rotating staff throughout the year. The flexibility the system and the support team has for our unique style of selling tickets has been quite a blessing.

Cons

As with most systems, the inability to change the delivery method on a completed order and not being able to do a partial refund seamlessly can be a bit of a burden. Thankfully these scenarios don't come into play too often and we can work around them.

Our ticket selling process has streamlined and is now a no stress experience. We never worry about our sales running without a hitch. That peace of mind is invaluable to us as manage ticket access to the fans of some of the biggest musicians in the industry.

Pros

The process is streamlined and there are no surprises. It's easy to track current sales and report on them later. The recent updates to the software have made huge strides towards ease of use and flexibility. We have very active patrons and the servers never get overloaded so everyone leaves happy and with tickets. Our account manager is extremely communicative. He checks in on us and monitors every sale. We couldn't do it without him!

Cons

Set up is tedious if working with a tour of multiple venues. It's not hard but it does take time to set up each individual seat map. I would love if we could update seat maps after they're applied to a performance. Otherwise well done!

Training, flexibility, excellent customer service and value, value, value!

Pros

We have more than pleased with the flexibility of ShoWare as well as its stellar customer service! When we initially planned to use the system, the training was beyond what I've experienced with any other vendor. Our employees were initially a little intimidated by such a powerful system but once they realized how easy it really is to use, they LOVE it! We have employees who look forward to selling tickets on ShoWare because it is so easy and so intuitive. We are not a huge venue...as an HOA we bring in individual shows as well as season packages. We see the value because we are able to market to residents as well as the surrounding community using ShoWare. We also love the fact that upgrades are regularly introduced with advance notice. We looked at a variety of ticketing options but ShoWare won hands down. Post go-live, their customer service continues to be a winner in our book! And, yes, I love ShoWare as a customer too!

Cons

We needed a system which could accommodate the various seat maps and configurations we use as well as sell season tickets to patrons. If what you need is general admission ticketing for one or two events, this software would be overkill.

Pros

We were the very first customer of ShoWare so we have seen the product/software grow since 2004. The ease of use has reached a wonderful level. It is so easy to train new employees on the system. As upgrades are added they have usually been easy to understand and easy to integrate into our daily use.

Cons

Most cons are really only small issues here and there. They have mostly been resolved over time. No major cons at this point!
