We use Towbook daily amd it is a great tool to have in your arsenal. Towbook makes digital dispatching simple and highly effective.

Pros

What i like most about towbook is the ease of use. No complicated unnecessary task. Second it's value for the cost.

Cons

The tier status of the platform. You get access to all the app has for free promotional. The lower tier is still great but the top tier features are impressive.

Its been easy to use and with constant updates just keeps getting better. The driver apps are easy to use as well.

Pros

Towbook is a full solution for towing company management, we have run and invoiced over 40,000 calls through it. Its easy to train users on, easy to track drivers and job status and easy to quote jobs. It even has in depth tools for driver commissions and reports.

Cons

The only feature its missing is a time card for drivers, that would truly make it a one stop shop for towing.

Overall, I would not mind using towbook again as it was easy to learn, especially being trained by phone/zoom for a remote position, and fhe program has the capability to handle everything needed in the dispatching roadside business.

Pros

I used towbook whrn working with a dispatching service that helped to set up our drivers with roadside assistance and insurance companies. It was easy to sue once i got the hang of it, and I liked that it was flexible and whether I was speaking to a stranded customer, a towtruck driver, or an insurance/roadside assistance company, the program had all the tools I needed to navigate for drivers, give customers eta's and find available drivers for companies setting up assiatkce for their customers.

Cons

Sometimes the program would freeze up requiring a reset of the computer which during a busy wotkday answering calls can br very frustrating. I do not blame towbook alone however for the issues as some were caused by internet connectivity, but still it was frustrating and counter productive

It has been good for several years (4+). My biggest gripe and reason for writing this review is to inform customers before they get locked into a company whose customer service is obviously going downhill. I'm openly looking for an alternative but have so much invested in Towbook that I am reluctant to leave (like a terrible relationship).

Pros

Ease of use and functionality of the software for transport / towing.

Cons

Customer support has gone downhill in 2023. The company seems more interested in cutting down the time to interact with its customers rather than giving the customer a solid product. Specifically, I am astonished by their complete objection to changing OUR call numbers in the software (which they have done for 4+ years now and promised to do in 2023) to merry up with the calendar year 2300001 etc. The only thing I can attribute this to is laziness and "streamlining" by some pencil-pushing workflow efficiency figurehead to boost profit and cut down on the number of employees. Just bad scenario for the small business who is invested, left with a decision to move on or stick it out.

Fantastic. I can dispatch, invoice AND collect payment all right in Towbook.... all I do is input the customer information once! I already have more time to focus on growing the business.

Pros

So easy to create and assign a dispatch. I love how Towbook can connect to our QuickBooks. I did a lot of research on different products. I spoke to different towing companies to get feedback. I can't believe I waited so long before I called for our free trial ! The support is awesome. Chat button available anytime.. or you can email or call them. BUT ! We have not had many questions because it is so user friendly !! Thank you Towbook.

Cons

Well . I like colour , more colour coded choices for different sections on a call would help to identify it more quickly ( for me anyway )

Pros

Towbook is extremely easy to use and has changed the way we do business for the better. This software allows us to easily keep track of what our drivers are doing and plan how to most efficiently utilize our fleet to get people safely out of harms way or to their destination. The visual comparison to the most used social media website makes Towbook very user friendly and non-intimidating. The software support (by online chat, phone and email) is easily and quickly reachable 24/7 and generally a response is helpful with problem solving solutions.

Cons

When there is an outage it really cripples our operations. Thankfully outages don’t last very long and support is generally very transparent as to how long it is expected to last.

getting to the disablement location a providing service in a timely manner

easy to use, run plates to get vin numbers and the uploading of photos is easy, the ease for the user makes it a plus

Cons

the maps are some times off and will lead the driver miles off course causing the call to the customer to be late

Overall towbook is a good one to use I have also used to use towsoft in the past and I find towbook to be better

This is awesome when it comes to dispatching. Easley send tow call to other employees. Used to help and calculate prices and daily logs.

Cons

Hey tell the GPS tracker isn't that great.

The staff at Towbook are top notch. Always helpful and friendly, and always able to assist. If they don't have the answer immediately, they will research the situation and find an answer. They are familiar with the towing industry, and it shows in their knowledge in responding to questions and concerns. They take comments and suggestions and actually implement them into the upgrades in the software package. I would recommend Towbook to anyone in the industry, the use of the software has created such an accountability for our income, it is unbelievable. It pays for itself time and time again! Towbook ROCKS!!

Pros

Complete customization to allow for the most functional use and integration into our current operation. Customer service is top notch, always helpful, friendly, and timely! Continued upgrades are always useful and allow for even greater efficiency in running our tow operation. The ability to generate custom letters is also extremely helpful. The ability to have multiple users at no added cost is key!

Cons

Nothing negative to say about this software.
