The driver apps are easy to use as well. Pros Towbook is a full solution for towing company management, we have run and invoiced over 40,000 calls through it. Its easy to train users on, easy to track drivers and job status and easy to quote jobs. It even has in depth tools for driver commissions and reports. Cons The only feature its missing is a time card for drivers, that would truly make it a one stop shop for towing. July 8, 2019 5.0 I have satellite offices and we had trouble coordinating drivers, calls, and information from one admin/dispatcher to the next. Towbook is a VERY affordable option that gives you as much bang for your buck as you can find anywhere. Plus you don't get stuck on hold to speak to someone halfway around the world when you have problems. They have a variety of ways to contact them and they respond in a timely fashion every single time. Pros I like most that it's easy to use. I love that it's cloud-based so we can unify all my operations in different places to one real-time experience. I love that the company is very responsive to developing new features independently, but also works hard to implement changes requested by customers. There is not one human being at Towbook software that I have run into so far that I wouldn't be happy to have at my company! Cons I seriously have no complaints. Can't complain about the cost, the overall value, or even the ease of getting it set up. They could have called it "Dispatch software for dummies" and wouldn't have been far from the truth. But it has become the one piece of technology that I wouldn't even consider switching out. The price is still the best of all options in the industry, in my opinion. My biggest gripe and reason for writing this review is to inform customers before they get locked into a company whose customer service is obviously going downhill. I'm openly looking for an alternative but have so much invested in Towbook that I am reluctant to leave (like a terrible relationship). Pros Ease of use and functionality of the software for transport / towing. Cons Customer support has gone downhill in 2023. The company seems more interested in cutting down the time to interact with its customers rather than giving the customer a solid product. Specifically, I am astonished by their complete objection to changing OUR call numbers in the software (which they have done for 4+ years now and promised to do in 2023) to merry up with the calendar year 2300001 etc. The only thing I can attribute this to is laziness and "streamlining" by some pencil-pushing workflow efficiency figurehead to boost profit and cut down on the number of employees. This software allows us to easily keep track of what our drivers are doing and plan how to most efficiently utilize our fleet to get people safely out of harms way or to their destination. The software support (by online chat, phone and email) is easily and quickly reachable 24/7 and generally a response is helpful with problem solving solutions. Cons When there is an outage it really cripples our operations. Thankfully outages don’t last very long and support is generally very transparent as to how long it is expected to last. Our business has doubled in truck and staff count, but we can achieve all of our billing needs in less than 20 hours a week. That’s one part time position to cover 24,000 calls a year. From management to drivers and dispatchers, Towbook continues to stay on top of an ever changing industry at a very fair price. The ease of use in the office and on the road is astounding. Pros I love the fact that I can receive and dispatch calls from different motorclubs without texting or printing anymore. Not true. Towbook has organized my accounting, sped up payment processing, and I feel like our call volume has increased because of our digital efficiency. Pros Every question I have, they are amazing about solving my problems and making my job easier. Cons Not every motor club has gotten integrated yet. Pros I enjoy everything about Towbook. I really like the Quickbook feature. I like how it just pushes all my sales over. I can dispatch, invoice AND collect payment all right in Towbook.... all I do is input the customer information once! I already have more time to focus on growing the business. Pros So easy to create and assign a dispatch. I love how Towbook can connect to our QuickBooks. I did a lot of research on different products. I spoke to different towing companies to get feedback. I can't believe I waited so long before I called for our free trial ! The support is awesome. Chat button available anytime.. or you can email or call them. BUT ! We used Omadi for about a year and we had constant issues with the app freezing and there were so many little things like having to undispatch a call to update the information and then re-dispatch it (waste of time) and Towbook has this cool link to send a customer that will accurately ping their location and send our driver right to them. Basically, Towbook is extremely efficient, fast, and reliable. Pros I was trying to get a report on payouts, was super slow, tedious and frustrating for a very challenged computer person...our rep not only worked on it for me but got the report...90% of what I needed so instead of days work ahead of me, I can get this report for the owner today! December 19, 2015 5.0 I have been dealing with Towbook since about it introduction into the industry (I think that was correct but I might be wrong as software takes years to develop) anyhow what I can say about Towbook is that that not only do they address any issues that might arise but they also use it for all other company to use across the board. It's almost as if one company make all the others ready if they need it, it's there. The hardest thing for any tow company to do is to get out of the old fashion system of doing things and join the 21st century, it has taken me years of work to evolve, Towbooks is one the the main resources that made this happen.
