Platinum is easier than our last system. The notes are so much cleaner and not bunched up. Love how we can create our own buttons

Pros

Platinum is easy to navigate through. Its easy to keep track of patient visits and account. I love how the let you know patient visits for the end of day

Cons

I don't like how we have to enter EOBs . It could be much simpler. Days sheets is too busy could be less complex. Just the basics

Pros

It allows up to see high volume and keeps everything organized. This software does everything, scheduling, SOAP, check in, billing, etc. We would have to serve way less people and spend much more time managing their accounts if we didn't have this software.

Cons

Learning the software can be time consuming. It is not very user friendly, but it does have a ton of functions once you know how to use it.

Great customer service.

Pros

I like how much I can do with it (i.e. calling module #1, queries, reports, tasks, stop managers, etc...). I like how much different and specific information I can pull on a report. It makes back office tasks easier and more efficient. I love that I can call Platinum at any time and how helpful and knowledgeable the staff is!

Cons

I wish it were cheaper and I don't like how it looks aesthetically. I don't like that you can't copy and paste stop managers from one family member to the next. I also wish it was easier to scan into Platinum.

Pros

Of the 10 different offices I have interned it worked in across the country, every single one has used Platinum. When I think of office’s that are providing a high level of care and making the biggest differences in their communities, Platinum EHR is the software they utilize.

Cons

If it could integrate will Apple products that would be awesome.

Save money with fewer missed appointments, easy SOAP note taking, multiple doctors stations, and overall saves time!

Pros

The automatic text reminder feature alone saves a ton of money. However, it allows us to track statistics and enables us to keep up with a higher volume practice.

Cons

There are so many bells and whistles it's almost too difficult to know how and when to use them. We don't utilize much insurance so some of the features available to us are unnecessary at times.

Platinum Systems does everything - from scheduling, tracking charges and billing, payments, invoices, and any kind of report you would need for both finances and patient information. You can send mass e-mails to all your patients, or with a couple of simple clicks, you can text everyone on your schedule a reminder of their next appointment. Platinum can be set up to remind the desk to take co-pays, and you can even program it to remember the individual co-pays for each person. The customer service cannot be beat - always friendly and happy to answer any question you may have.

Pros

It can so so many things! I was an office manager and biller for several doctors who used this software.

We are frustrated on a regular basis.

Pros

Color coded appointment types. Stop managers are helpful.

Cons

It tanks a lot! It is not at all user friendly. Ive used platinum for 3 years and still cannot make all the features work. I’ve called customer service to get help and watched the tutorials.

Every time I call with an issue, everyone is so polite and assists with a smile. They are all great !!

Pros

I like the simplicity and the fact that I can either click or type to open different screens. I like that nothing is permanent and changes can happen.

Cons

I don't like that you can't save a PDF to your desktop.

Pros

Customer support has been hands down one of the best! They are easy to get in touch with and super helpful!

Cons

The scan cards get to be tough to use with families to get everyone checked in at the front and checked in at the adjusting bay. Too much work for mom and dad.

Pros

The technical support is amazing. they wont stop until the problem is resolved. Very good about following up to make sure everything is working well. When a Windows update acted like a virus to our system Platinum technical support worked with us for 4 months until all issues were resolved.

Cons

1.There is nothing for inventory. 2.We have many patients who come with multiple children and only wish to run a credit card once. Would be nice to Transfer Balances with one transaction instead of two.

Ease of use in scheduling and managing clients. Fast workflow. Efficiently processes clients.

Pros

The interface is extremely simple and easy to use. The buttons are all laid out in an easily accessible way.

Cons

It looks old-fashioned, but this isn't necessarily a con. If I had to pick something else, it might be the ease of scanning items into the system. Remote access while not on the system would be a great addition.

Remote access is indeed a fantastic idea and you can also do this with the help of Remote Utility programs giving you access to your computer from anywhere, would be best to remote into your server this way you can use the system with ease. After being a client of platinum systems for over 14 years and having fully paid for the system, customer service was unwilling to answer even the most basic of questions for us today. Where is the loyalty to ongoing customers, if we treaeted our clients/patients like this we would no longer be in business. Very poor show Platinum

Inconsistency of platinum, reguarly freezes and breaks down.

Pros

It looks professional. The patients swipe in they like that. X-rays, exam finding are right there on the soap note page.

Cons

The initial cost and every thing is an add on. The billing is a multi step process, could be easier. Have to use their approved companies for e-mail blasts, texting, etc.

Pros

It allows you to run your office with less staff. It is very user friendly. The support team is very responsive to your inquiries and give very easy to follow instructions.

Cons

Sometimes I have a problem with all the work stations sinking with one another and have to shut down all the computers and restart

I like that the user interface is customizable. I also like the other plug in's that work, such as SKED and Fortis.

Cons

The look. It looks outdated. I would also like to be able to use it on a tablet. I would also like it to not have so many interruptions.

The software allows ease of use for both the doctor and the chiropractic assistants. There are many shortcuts available to make notes quick and easy. Our office loves Platinum!

Cons

Sometimes it can seem overwhelming to our CA who just started with us. After doing some more training with her, she seems to follow along much better.

Saves me time, organization of patients

Pros

Organization of my patients, all the reports that help to keep everyone accounted for. Reminders so patients do not "fall through the cracks"

Cons

Easy to mess things up in the system, hard to correct keystroke errors without messing with your statistics

Pros

I like best the customer service, the screen layout, the EHR and the billing set up to integrate with Gateway EDI. It's also been huge to integrate with web based Fortis payments to run automatically even when we aren't in office.

Cons

It doesn't have a web based feature that we can access between multiple locations our out of office.

Pros

This system is easy to use and easy to learn. Truly that's all I did like about the system. Too easy to overwrite and mess up though.

Cons

When you do billing on this system once you change the date on something, even if mistake you can't go back if that makes sense. Like there is no are you sure feature. And if you did mean to you don't see the change it was like it never happened. Not a good feature to me

Support team is very knowledgable and very personable. I always appreciate their prompt friendly service.

Cons

Not totally user friendly for English language users. Manual pages are not complete. Some of the chapters are missing from our system. I'd prefer to be able to learn more independantly.

Daily notes are quite quick. INtegrated billing is very convenient.

Pros

I like how it is integrated with billing and EHR. I like the touch screen use. I like the imaging that can be on the home EHR screen.

Cons

It's starting to look dated, it needs a refresh and modernization. A new way to sign in, with a phone number or something. The swipe cards have run their time. Its time to use a pin or something like that.

Pros

Customer service is outstanding. It stream line alot of my task. Great at keep stats and payments. The thermography option really help me track the patient thermography pattern.

Cons

The cost, the increasing monthly maintenance fee, the inability to have a copy of platinum on laptop while traveling, the glitches that cause new patient to randomly add new appointments and remove existing appointments, and inability to delete a patient file.
